14years owning Alto 800..!! proud owner. Its not a car but heritage. Will change only for a change only. But till date dont know what a car disappointment is. So even watching this video, will upgrade its RC next year. love from punjab##
But safety is the primary thing. Punch 🥊 is definitely the option among these 3.

citroen doesn't demand guarenter so I baught it and I feel very comfortable while driving. And this video was join venture to make c3 look odd one out

Your intro about the cars were incorrect. C3 never claims itself to be SUV.
The C3 wants to look more like a micro SUV with the black cladding all around and the tall stance, than a regular hatchback. Hence, the Intro.

Seems like a paid promotion for Alto by CarDekho. Otherwise there is no sense in comparing an Apple with an Orange. I believe both Punch and C3 are heavier, wider, have more ground clearance and much better built as well. Punch specially is much better in many other aspects too.
It was better if all small hatchbacks from Maruti were included here in this comparison against Alto and then find out which is best amongst them. Could include small hatches from other OEMs also, like Kwid, Tiago, etc. It would have made more sense.
Actually, Maruti is not getting expected sales for new Alto and now even giving huge discounts just after few months of its launch. Its heavily overpriced and no value for money. Then why not give some money to youtubers for its marketing like this and try to achieve better sales.
As per the tag line in the thumbnail "Featuring India Ki Sabse Kabil SUV", after this comparison the Alto is India's sabse kabil SUV........ LOL !!
Could be either way : ) This could be paid promtion for Alto but also could be a clever move for 'views'? Alto should be the mostly owned car in India, and seeing it compete and excel in an (awkward) off-road test would be enough for a viral mix.

Previous Gen. Alto was mostly owned Indian car, but not the case with this new piece. It hasn't garnered same response. So, seems like a marketing a trick from Maruti with this comparison thru CarDekho.

How do u kno about Citroen build???? Renault/Nissan too are french manufacturers n the build quality is too poor (kwid/redigo/go...)

Let me start by saying that this is not a sponsored video, otherwise, you would have a seen a 'Paid Partnership' label.
As to why we are comparing "an Apple with an Orange", the Alto has been the first and only car of many buyers in remote corners of our country where the road network is not the best - or is really hard to maintain. A natural step up from the Alto for those buyers are hatchbacks like the Punch and C3 with raised ground clearance. Helping them understand that bigger and more powerful (car) might not mean better off-road is important. In these conditions, power delivery and weight plays an important part which is different for every car.
We have compared the older K10 with Kwid and S-Presso, and the Punch with the Ignis and the Kiger in a similar fashion as well. Would like you to check those out on @Zigwheels as well.
I am open to having a conversation with you about why we did this comparison and why the results are what they are, but let's be constructive - and not throw around accusations like " paid promotion for Alto by CarDekho".

Let me first extend my regrets to you in case you were personally offended in any way by my comment. BUT, let me just also clarify that there were no accusations. I had started my comment with "Seems like" which indicates my suspicion and NOT accusation. It needed a clarification from you and you shared that with your reply, thanks again.
However, what I wrote in my comment was just the expression of the immediate impression that I got after watching this video.
I hope not only remote pupulation of India but The Tatas and Citroens also get your point by watching this video and make something more meaningful than Punch and C3 for those buyers; something as good as Maruti Alto.
You rightly said Alto has been the first and only car for the buyers in rural corners of India. But, if I am not wrong, during last few years there was hardly any month where Alto topped the sales chart, and those sales figures also include stats from remote/rural parts of the country. During these COVID years it was not the metropolitan cities but the B-towns and rural India that helped car sales revive & get back on track. Alto did not top the sales charts in these time as well. Rather, cars like Baleno, Wagon-R or even Tata Nexon and Punch are ahead on many occasions in terms of sales. These are much costlier cars than Alto; so, it is now clearly evident that the first time car buyer's ticket size had increased and the Alto is no more the obvious or only pick them. Many are preferring much pricier cars as their first buy. That is the reason Maruti is not garnering desired sales/response for this new overpriced Alto.
And, I believe the remote corner buyers also deserve robust safety in their cars and need more education and emphasis from well established youtubers like you, not just the knowledge about how the Alto is better in power delivery. Alto vs Punch, you know better than me which is more robust & safe, or even if there is any comparison at all in between these two on that aspect. Remote corner lives also matter. You yourself mentioned how the road network/conditions are in those areas making them really accident prone and deprived of good medical facilities. So, you should tell/advocate them to buy a safe & robust/solid built car (be from any OEM), even if there is another one available being better on power delivery but comprising highly on build quality & safety risking human lives.
I take you as a credible automobile channel that keeps the comments section open for all sorts of respectful inputs including healthy criticism and not only the ones that are sweet to your ears/eyes.
You are a big TH-cam network and I am just one of your small/poor subscribers who has watched many of your videos, appreciating the content many times by liking "👍🏻" many videos on CarDekho and your other partner channels.
You often urge people to comment below your videos but I believe my comment was not welcome here. c3 turbo could have won this. The cheaper normally aspirated engine is good for easy city driving, but the turbo packs low end torque, better power and a better gearbox too.

Aj hi C3 ki test drive li hai. Drive experience is superb. Pickup, speed, engine smoothness sabkuch top notch hai. Only issue is.. ye Citroen ki first car hai ar future ka kuch pata nai.. after sales services aur spare parts availability

Why is it all suvs are big and sturdy looking ? Why not put a turbo 1.2, 4 cyl in alto and give it 4-wheel drive with traction control etc ? And increase the tyre profile and ground clearance a bit. So a super compact turbo car with 4 wheel drive- easy to drive in any narrow hill roads. Call it Alto SuperSTAR 4x4 or Alto Sports AWD, just for fun!!!

None of these cars are SUV, without 4WD and less than 160 degrees ramp angle, it is not a SUV. What's worse is that SUV are NOT off road or even overlanding vehicles - for that you must have a body on frame vehicle, not monocoque.

I own altok10 since 11 years and changed alto suspension 3 times in 1 lack km because of such bad roads.
Not sure how long can tata or cetroen suspension last in such roads.

This shows your reviews are not reliable. Citreon ride quality feels much better. Means not just better than Alto/Punch, it is even better than 20lac+ cars like Cxxxta/ XUVxxx. Just a small travel on lightly damaged road will make anyone feel that.
