For 7 years I’ve been in so much pain…I really thought my hip was going to break. I’ve tried everything…recently I had another MRI…not your hip, it’s your sciatica. A friend recommended your videos….I watched a few and started doing some stretches…something finally became un pinched! I feel 1000% better! If it starts coming on I immediately stop and do a few stretches and it goes away. I’ve got a new lease on life…Thankyou!!!!

I was just diagnosed with sciatica after a visit to the ER, thinking the pain was from an infection in my leg. These wrk.. I have it so bad I get complete numbness face, arms, every where do I have it on both sides sides of my spine.. Only way is to keep doing it,, if u want relief you best put walking into your every day thing... Even if u can't feel a leg or two like me..

This is exactly what I need. I’m soon to be 68 in August and I walk leaning forward and super stiff from the waist down. I would like to see a video on choosing walking shoes for arthritic conditions, especially for women and those of us with extra pounds. I’ve been wearing flats for a while without much cushion and almost needed a mobile chair because I didn’t realize the pounding my joints were taking from improper shoes. It was very difficult for me to walk. Thank you ❤🙏🏾.

I have bought a massage gun. I place the gun in a V shape behind my knee and close my leg so it is snug. I know it is not what they should be used for, but the vibration behind the knee and upper calf muscles helps.
Perfect timing! My sciatica popped off this week. Finally remembered to my hip stretches yesterday, small monster walks, anything mild but hip/pelvis related. Got some more help today thanks to this video! THANK YOU!!!

It’s some miserable pain no matter what position I’m in: sitting, standing, walking, sleeping and driving…etc. I thought it was my knee the first couple of days but it ended up being my whole leg.

I do have sciatica 🙄. However I do some of these exercises and work in the pool and walk on the treadmill. But the inside of my sneaker the sole curled up which sprained my ankle badly. Time out for me at the YMCA. I enjoyed your video as I do have serious balance issues & do use my cane if I need to. Drs wanted too do surgery but my neurologist said "No". So pleased to not listen to those Bone & Joint Drs. Seriously those exercises you shared DO give relief. God Bless! 😊

I have Scoliosis so my body is off plus my ankles are fused. Got to love Arthritis. My sciatica started a week ago in the middle of my right butt cheek and part way down my thigh. I have been watching videos and exercises. I still have the sciatica. Before noon I am wiped out from the pain.

In the actuate phase of my sciatica, I can’t do most of these stretches. It’s been over 25 days and finally a little better but this is with medications. I can at least move around the house better. I will now start these stretches slowly. I lost muscle mass in my leg-it’s weak and my hamstring muscle hurts and is weak preventing me from standing on my feet too long. When I walk, my calf muscle is so tight and feels heavy. My feet are stilll numb but seem slightly less numb today. The back of my left foot heel area is always numb now. I hope I didn’t have a severe sciatica melt down and fried the nerves in the back of hamstring and calf
I have been wanting to do some exercises but how does one even move with these exercises..i have lots of pain..n dont take meds..only mag. Citrate, vit d, n bcomplex with c to relieve some pain..

So, my suspicion that since I'm used to heeled shoes for forefoot walking, I'm having problem with walking with heel force with flat slippers and sneakers. Thanks!
I have sciatica on my left side. I'm on day ten of agony. 2 days ago my left leg just gave out to the inside. There are two points where this comes from --,my inner thigh, and most important, my foot. Specifically, my toes. It's as if my foot breaks in two right behind my toes.. I have fallen 7 TIMES in the last 24 hours. I'm 77, have never had sciatica prior to this, and the first sign woke me up in the middle of the night. I got up, put my feet on the floor instantly fell. I couldn't get up. I had to crawl on my hands and knees to my kitchen to get my antiinflammatories, and then crawl back to my bedroom. Getting back into bed required movements too complicated to explain here. I can only walk bent over from my waist, probably at least a 45 degree angle.I have to consciously remember not to lead with my left foot, or I fall. The advice to walk around on your toes is DANGEROUS. I have watched Bob and Brad for years. This is the first time I've seen them give advice that is not only wrong, but dangerous Also, if you are in the acute phase of a severe attack using a band would increase pain from excruciating to passing out. Same for butt kicks. I have no idea how such bad advice was allowed in a. B&B video Any movement of any kind that creates compression on the sciatic nerve is bad, as in really bad. B&B have lots of sciatica videos on their website. I've done some of them, but only now in my 5th month when the acute phase is over.
Question, how do you do exercise #2, bending the standing leg, and still have the other foot be able to clear the ground, without shifting your upper body angle?
Hi I've recently hurt my lower back in the gym 2nd time this in 6 months .My doctor prescribed anti inflammatory,s is it common for butt cheek to feel completely numb? I've got some short term relief from your excercise but still extremely uncomfortable? I've also had a tingling/numbness down my leg .

Doing exercises watching your TH-cam help me alot. Its been 3 years now i have less pain. But when i stand 3-5 minutes or walk 500 meters my both legs numbness. I don't feel my legs. Although exercise helped me out for pain. But numbness still at same. Please let me know how to get rid of numbness.
This looks great if you're not in pain. Can't stand or sit I'm in so much pain. What is the long term solution? I've got a doctor that wants to put a pin in my hip to take the pressure off of my S1, L5 joint. 😢 This pain has me in tears.
Been there. You'll have to wait till the pain subsides. Avoid surgery. The only thing that helped me was seeing an osteopath. He was the only one that was able to fix the underlying issues.
I’m 75. At 50 I got sciatica. Friend said his wife does this. So I walked backwards for 1 week over dog track in the country. I was siatica free. Still NO siatica.😳💜💓🇦🇺💝

tried all the exercises nothing helped. L4-5 disc excision with nerve transposition cured the pain. don't be afraid of surgery when p t doesn't help.

I had a golf swing where I put more weight on my trail leg at address and the pain was bad. So the arm over
the head helps relive the pain.

Do exercises for sciatica also work for pain from spinal stenosis? they seem very similar

Question, how do you do exercise #2, bending the standing leg, and still have the other foot be able to clear the ground, without shifting your upper body angle?
I think he means to stand with your leg not locked into straight position, with just a little Bend in the standing knee
@@moonxshakti I meant that I have leg length disparity and bending the knee only makes it worse, trying to clear the ground.
Hi I've recently hurt my lower back in the gym 2nd time this in 6 months .My doctor prescribed anti inflammatory,s is it common for butt cheek to feel completely numb? I've got some short term relief from your excercise but still extremely uncomfortable? I've also had a tingling/numbness down my leg .

Doing exercises watching your TH-cam help me alot. Its been 3 years now i have less pain.
But when i stand 3-5 minutes or walk 500 meters my both legs numbness. I don't feel my legs. Although exercise helped me out for pain. But numbness still at same. Please let me know how to get rid of numbness.
How would running or walking affect the sciatica. At times the muscles are too sore.
Will sitting too often affect the nerve

This looks great if you're not in pain. Can't stand or sit I'm in so much pain. What is the long term solution? I've got a doctor that wants to put a pin in my hip to take the pressure off of my S1, L5 joint. 😢 This pain has me in tears.
Been there. You'll have to wait till the pain subsides. Avoid surgery. The only thing that helped me was seeing an osteopath. He was the only one that was able to fix the underlying issues.

I’m 75. At 50 I got sciatica. Friend said his wife does this. So I walked backwards for 1 week over dog track in the country. I was siatica free. Still NO siatica.😳💜💓🇦🇺💝
