- In this episode, we spend a few more days at Nossob Rest Camp before we start our journey to the Botswana side of the park known as Mabuasehube.
We come across some Cheetah that gives us the perfect show with the stupendous landscape of the Kgalagadi in the background.
We find some young lion that was, unfortunately, playing with a plastic bottle. We did not let this get the better of us and we rather focussed on the behaviour of these lions.
We also have one of our best all-time sightings in the park, even though it was short-lived. A caracal that was hunting. Something we will never forget.
Hope You Enjoy

Nicely filmed mate I'll be there in March so looking forward to it. It's been years since my last visit there.
Thanks. Yeah. March is a great time to go. Just after all the rains
Pragtige kamera-werk!
Dankie David
Man, you killed it! The optics, audio, sound effect A+. You exceed National Geographical expectations!
Thank you so much for the kind words.. and thank you for watching
Thanks for sharing. It's indeed valuable information since we'll be going there later this year
Thanks for watching. Feel free to ask if you need more info
Fantastic to see a Caracal. And so true about the small things in the Kgalagadi 👍
It was very nice to see it. Thank you for watching

Verlang heeltyd terug na die Kgalagadi
Thanks for sharing your epic journey with us, the folks that cannot go there. Your video is the best consolation here. Great stuff indeed.
Thanks so much! And thanks for watching. It truly is a remarkable place
@@OurLifeInAfrica I became disabled from multiple conditions and couldn't travel since 2001.. One must live life as tomorrow isn't guaranteed.
Thanks for the comment.. it is true indeed.. Live each day as though it is the last..
Thanks again for watching and following.
Outstanding footage of your trips, loving the bird action you guys filmed. It's such an under looked at category, but makes the trips complete & we find you notice more by viewing the magical bird life that Africa has to offer. I have a question, whom do you use to book campsites in Botswana? We're looking for someone to help us book a trip for the 2024 season & find it really difficult to book directly with the Botswana agencies. Keep the video's coming & Thanks Dirk
Thanks. We agree. When you focus on the smaller things on a drive then the "bigger" things come to you.
We book with DWNP themselves. I normally send an email and then phone them a few hours later. If you keep sending emails it ends up at the back of the queue.
Also, try BigFoottours. They charge an additional fee though
Thanks for the info it will help, we live in the southern states area, with a 7 hour time difference, emailing back & forth doesn't work well. On our last trip in 2019 we used a 3rd party but didn't like him much. Keep up the video's, your a natural & an excellent videographer.
@@travelerdirk7923 thanks for the kind words. Hope your next experience with bookings is much better
Wonderful, thank you for sharing. The lions were amazing but, yes, such a pity about the plastic bottle.
Sometimes one must just take a deep breath and accept what we can’t change. Thanks for watching
Great vid, planning to go there once my 4x4 skills are more refined. You mentioned using 4 high in the sand.. Why did you not consider using 4 low? Did a trail recently where it was majority loose sand like that and used 4 low which made the trail effortless.
Hi. Our 4x4 skills are not of the best as well, but we learn by error.
The track isn’t all dunes. It has long straight sections as well where we used 4high. The dunes were mostly done in 4low with lockers.
Thanks for watching.
Another great episode. Thanks for sharing bud
Thanks Bruce. Appreciate it
Jy ry soos jou 🕳️😂
😂 famous last words..
@@OurLifeInAfrica been there, done that. But not like you😂 no need to drive like that on those dunes
Wat moes ek anders gedoen het? Verstaan nie die negatiewe comment nie
