  • After a very tough journey from Nossob to Mabuasehube, we get the opportunity to explore, once again, the wonders of Botswana. We stay 2 nights at Motopi Pan and 4 nights at Khiding pan.
We recall some fantastic sightings that we've had in the past at Mabua, which includes night sound of Brown Hyena dominance behavior and lions that took over Lesholoaga Camp the entire day.
We get to see some fantastic cats, 3 cheetah sightings and a send off from Mabuasehube by a male lion at Mpaya pan.
As we make our way back to the Nosson river we soon realise that what we are going to miss the most about Mabua is the night and morning sounds of the birds waking up.
    Hope you enjoy!

Great show! Did you fill the water tank on the conqueror? How does it tow in deep sand with full water tank? Thanks for the show ❤

Hi. Yes we keep it topped up. We like towing it with lower center of gravity with a full tank. The sand was not the easiest, but sure the water tank did not make a huge difference as we went back the same way. 160kg in comparison to the entire weight of the combination is rather small.

Ek geniet jul videos. Ek is self 'n GROOT Land Cruiser man, so kyk meer vir jou Cruiser as die diere...LOL.

My husband and I have been watching your TH-cam videos in anticipation of our trip to the Kgalagadi next year. Your content is amazing. I have learnt so much. One question.... How did you find the open camps in Botswana for a small child? My daughter will be 2.5 years old when we go and I am really nervous. Any advice?

      Hi.
Thanks for watching. The Kgalagadi is really an amazing place.
The open camps can be a concern, and caution should always be taken. We have been traveling with our baby since she was a couple of months old, so she is used to it.
Another thing to remember about the Kgalagadi is that it can get extremely hot during the days, especially in the summer months. We plan to have extra water for her to have a “cold bath” at least once a day!
Go and enjoy it. And don’t let negative comments and remarks keep you from experiencing it and showing it to your daughter!
Also feel free to ask any questions
