I just bought the Sheepdog XL with nested Green Micarta scales, deep carry clip and BD1N steel. It’s a tank and I love it. I plan to carry it daily for the lols.
I got the pleasure of meeting up with Harry and hanging out for a couple hours when he passed through town on Saturday. Truly an awesome dude and incredibly generous!
i just received mine. had to disassemble it as it was gritty. after cleaning the bearings and applying loctite on the screws and pivot (seriously the pivot has no loctite on mine and only the pocket clip screws have loctite), it's so smooth and drop shuts everytime. it's so sharp as well that it's a guillotine!
I got the carbon fiber model & Love it! and I can carry it with no issue... highly recommended for any collector, I'd love to get my hands on a original sheepdog but there too hard to find always out of stock..
I actually considered buying this for food prep, but decided against it precisely because of the protruding flipper tab. If the flipper was replaced with a thumb hole, I think I'd order it in a heartbeat.
So, I just got back into knives now that I can afford some of the nicer stuff. 2 things about this knife: 1) I saw another video on this knife with the perfect title “Useful stupidity at it’s finest”. 2) I saw on BladeHQ that they are making a “premium” version on the xl, titanium handle and CPM-20CV blade.

This thing is so ridiculous and stupid and awesome. I'll need to pick one up when the black one comes back in stock lol. I probably would only carry it for the memes.
This little baby was stolen from me by my boss...... He carries this folder at work every day nowadays 😒 funny thing is he lost the 1st one when his cousin stole it from him, which prompt him to buy the 2nd one i purchased.... 😳 With that said i had to buy a 3rd one for myself. On a fun note i bought a ZT0308 ($300) and i absolutely do not like it. I love the kizer xl..... Even when i carry a 4max scout most of the time.
Baby blades will do everything a big blade will do. Maybe so just not as easy. I'll keep carrying my.large blades and you carry your baby blades. I don't feel any disadvantage or burden. Obviously a lot of guys have not carried pistols if you think these blades are monsters. Get a better belt guys. LOL
When you say it’s not suited for EDC...that’s when it became my favorite EDC carry!

Is it actual carbon fiber? I've only seen it in photos and the weaves are kinda fake looking.

I use it for brush cutting and blackberry canes. Excellent! Totally great
Heard it's great for slicing up corrugated - which i toss in my mulch bin.
I also would like more 154cm! As I watch this I have in my pockets a leatherman skeletool cx and buck marksman both in 154cm. Excellent job!
