I run regularly and have since about 2013. I went running with some friends twice in the past and injured myself (both times) suddenly sprinting to keep up with someone else who had taken off sprinting. Perhaps a month ago, I went running with some other friends and they hit a hill. They kept pace up the hill and I saw that I started to lag, so I pushed it and immediately felt pain in my left groin. There was a lump on the side of my..🤔🤷🏽♀️pelvic bone?.. afterwards. Later that morning I think I met with another group at the gym and did leg lifts. Pain on the right side of my pelvic bone and a lump. It’s tender there, hurts when I do more than jog, and the lumps haven’t gone away. What is this?? I keep having injuries with the same symptoms (pain and tenderness that lasts months or years) every time I try to push myself that last notch. Bench press, shoulder press, weighted push-ups, leg curls, sprints, hills… what’s happening?? And how do I fix it all back to how it was??
Just a correction. If those muscle r tight when ur on a hirse ur not riding right. They don't hold u on. Balance keeps ur on. U literally. Cannot grip urself in the crotch to hold on at all. U may use it in rising trot or an active seat but again not to Hold on. U really want them as loose and relaxed as possible to take the movement like a spring, no one likes a hard spring btw, and u move a whole lot. If u become injured in this muscle on a horse ur were tensing it not relaxing it as u need too. I have attained my Groin for example and was able to ride yesterday and never felt it. I actually felt better than walking because I was relaxing that muscle in the saddle to absorb movement. I even rose to the trot with no issue. It felt really good actually.
I was at spring training for football and we did 50 yard side squats. I did the 50 yards, but when I got done i felt a little pain. It hurts when I do the cris cross applesauce sitting position. It almost feels deeper than the groin. I can do everything fine except for when I have to work my inner thigh. I am going turkey hunting this weekend and I know I will have to sit down. Any advice? 🙏. I think it is the muscle u work when u do the butterfly.

Any issue of this nerve at your disc level can cauase pain and problem at inguinal / groin area. Hope it helps..
Sorry you go thru that shit man, I’m starting to go thru it too and I’m 20 now. It sucks growing up.

Mine just started hurting while running. It came on slowly over the past couple of days. I did a lot of ranking and yard work last week.
I was skateboarding and when i woke up the next day it hurts to walk so I didn’t care so i went skateboarding again and now it hurts when i lift my leg up it starts to hurt a lot at my hip and thigh
Any ideas how to cure

How do you know if its a hernia or a groin strain?
I had to go see the doctor and they examined it. Another thing it could be is a labrum tear.
Or maybe a jammed hip pinching nerves?
I got a groin injury when I was childhood. However, I did not have a chance to treat making the right position. Can I still fix my groin into the right position? pls, share your knowledge and experiences. Thank you
What about post csection? I seem to have pain and it has increased postnatal activity etc. right along the groin/bikini line.
Thanks to everyone for replying... right?
Appreciate the video!
I'm in soooo much pain. Wish that kaiser had PT's just like you two!
I can't keep my right leg raised. And it hurts so bad when I try. I can run, i can jog, I can ride my bike, I can do the lateral movements shown in this video - it doesn't hurt at all. I can lift my knee, but it hurts if i try to hold it after i lifted it. I can raise my leg too but if i try to hold it after i raised it, the pain is intense. The pain is in the groin area. What kind of injury is it and what can I do?
My groin has been hurting for about a year now but it only hurts when I move my leg in a certain direction
Does it still hurt? Did you do any exercises to fix the pain
My groin has been sore for 3 months very high on my inner high which makes me think its a tendon problem. when i lift my knee upward it hurts. Strengthening doesnt seem to improve anything. When i put something between my knees and squeez there is no pain but when i run and lift my leg in anyway it hurts. Anyone know what i can do?
Did you ever find out ? Think I’m having the same problem
Back 7months ago as i was kicking a ball i just heard a pop sound and i fall down and i even couldnt move for 5minutes but i never went to hospital nor did i ever play football since but for now i can walk and when i try to just pass a ball to a friend a fear to get again that pain

I have been having a groin and illiopsoas injury for 3 years due to heavy squatting and deadlifting for many years. I fixed my illiopsoas with a couple years of rest and months of therapy. My groin is still destroying me and my physio therapist and doctor gave up. I'm now trying light exercises but it's not getting better
How is it now?
@@Siouxthenation Pretty bad and feeling hopeless. Went to the orthopedean and he said i could do a hip artheroscopy because they've diagnosed me with a CAM impingment (basically a piece of bone grew on top of the bone, causing an impingment).
I think i'll do the surgery rather sooner than later as it's my only hope, only way to manage my pain is to just not make quick movements and be careful when standing up and excersising.

Tried wearing one of those supports during volleyball and it actually made it worse. If I took it off it was still sore but 10 times better.
I had hip replacement surgery and when I woke up I had excruciating pain in my groin. I could not move my leg inwards at all. I had absolutely no control over my leg, it was like it was dead. When I did try to move my leg in, not only could I not move it but the pain was unbearable. Part of my PT was to lay on my back and slide my leg out to the side, then back in. I could slide it out but I could not slide it back in. It took months before I regained any inward movement and to this day it still hurts and is much weaker than my other leg. They told me they must have overstretched my groin muscle during the surgery. Based on what you said I think they did more than just overstretched it, I think they completely ruptured it.
I was doing practice of kicking then after one day I am having pain in the pelvic bone ...is it groin pain ?

I started to have pain and swelling in my grown weeks ago and I was sure it was a hernia but I seen a consultant yesterday who examined me and he seen it was a Inguinal muscle tear and he gave me a painful steroid injection that he said will take a few days to set in and work and get rid of the pain and swelling and will last for 3 months and then go back to see him, well as yet the pain and swelling has not gone but hopefully it will in the next few days, what do you think.

I have inner thigh pain and rested for 3 weeks. I was only doing ab exercises and started feeling inner thigh pain. I started very mild exercises after 3 weeks because the pain had almost gone. But now it has started again. What should I do?
@Bhargav Venky Yes it went away. I tried everything. Rest, then stretching, then mild exercise, didn't work so rest again. Then infrared lamp, then TENS machine, then walking. So I have no idea ultimately what worked for me. But what I know for sure is that my pain got so bad because I didn't rest properly in the beginning. It took me 5 months to heal and my muscles are still somewhat weak.

I am male bit have the same issue -- maybe an inguinal hernia?

How do I take care of a groin if it’s a injury that I have had for 4months thought it was my back
I was at spring training for football and we did 50 yard side squats. I did the 50 yards, but when I got done i felt a little pain. Like when you throw a baseball hard without warming up and it pops with pain. This was around 1 week ago and I haven’t limited any of my activities.
