Guys, checked out your vid two weeks ago. Hip been sore for 5 years, been told everything from, muscles, laziness, back issues to bursitis. Discovered on friday was a life threatening blood clot in pelvis - surgery tomorrow. Lucky I didn’t keep googling and went to hospital.

Great advice. I am having some hip pain. I had a ruputed disk in my lower back some years ago. It's nice to know it could be related.

Thanks to you both. This was very instructional. I fractured my 3rd Lumbar Vertebra in 2014 and have a lot of referred pain on my right hip. On top of that the right hip isn't in the fullness of youth anyway so that's a bit of a double whammy. I have a lot of trouble straightening up after sitting down for than 10 minutes and I tend to hobble until the whole shebang re-aligns itself, so to speak.

Man, I just turned 31. I had a baby 10 months ago. I carry him a lot. I wake up in pain every day. I can’t walk for long periods of time. This is not what I want for myself at this stage in life. Everybody please take care of yourselves and don’t take your body for granted. You could wake up and not be the same as yesterday 🥺

I think her hip pain may related to back rather than hip. Thank you for a great video 👍

Thanks, Bob and Brad. Good job in short time. I'm 70 yrs old and a lifelong runner, former world-class. I've been training to break the 5K world record for my age. I'm smart and don't overdo it. Everything was going just fine, and I was running/training from 3 miles to 6 miles, sometimes more, three days on and one day off. Then, I got out of bed one morning a month ago and had pain above my hip, sore to the touch. It just came out of nowhere. I've had x-rays and an MRI, but everything appears ok. The docs think it may be bursitis. My running was going fine - no pain anywhere, no pulls, etc. It's getting me down.

Im a 30 year RN, 59 years old, recent onset of hip pain. Noticed most when I have to walk up steps that are a higher rise than normal steps, lifting my weight on that leg/hip. I think you helped me decide its bursitis, will treat with ice, thanks so much!

Walking up steps also causes hip pain for me. I have treated with a heating pad and ice which only temporarily lessens the pain so I don't waste my time in doing either one of these, I just live with it.

Hi Guys. I love your videos and have gotten a lot of relief from them for other issues I've had, so Thanks very much! I have a question about hip bursitis. I had a pretty bad case of this a little more than a decade ago and did go to PT for it. I think it's gotten aggravated again due to recent exercise/karate classes after a long time without much exercise. My question is, can the pain from hip bursitis go all the way down to the heel and outside ankle? Most everything feels like it did last time, but the heel pain this time is far worse. It's mainly at the back side of the heel and runs under and over to the outside ankle. (I also have a history of herniated discs in the lower back, but this has been feeling great since my recent activity and doesn't hurt at all doing the upward dog test you showed in this video). Thanks again and keep it up!

It just comes and goes. Now i have pain whether i stand or sit, but more when i sit. I tested all the movements you show in your other video and rotation is fine, although ingear a few noises sometimes...

I have had a herniated disc in my back for a very long time. I recently lost 40 pounds rapidly via the Keto diet and I was very active with my kids providing camp support for 5 intense days (walking and lifting heavy bikes while camping in a tent). Hip started to bug me and upon coming home, now it aches bad with #2 that they mentioned. Not sure if my rapid weight loss played a role in shifting my physiology as I had a very tight left psoas muscle for a very long time but got better as I lost weight.

Thanks Gentlemen! I had a L4/L5 discectomy 39 years ago with little or no issues whatsoever. I’m now 53 and have been extremely active for all of those 39 years without taking any meds or than an occasional ibuprofen. But, in just the past 2 years I’ve been experiencing severe pain in my hip areas. In the “exact” same spots on the port and starboard sides of my hips. I recently went I a top rated chiropractor and had Xrays to look at my spine and disc areas. No sign of arthritis anywhere and the holes on the vertebrae than carry the nerves. You can’t even tell I had the disc shaved. So all lower discs and vertebra look normal. But occasionally when I’m just walking or push my lawnmower and that pain kicks in it is Crippling and my legs and feet feel as if they each weight 1,000 lbs. Help Me Please?!?

I am a high school athleteI have been experiencing extreme tenderness and tightness inside of my hip/ pelvis limiting my walking and range of motion. This is the second time I have experienced this type of pain . The first time was a year-and-a-half ago and i did months of physical therapy and rest only to recover. After healing and having a successful season the same type of pain returend a year latter. I believe that it is my iliacus muscle but I have not found any advice vidios on how to heal my pain. Do you all have any advice.

Hi. I would like to appreciate you great videos, i love them. I have been suffering pain in my right side hip (upper leg) during excersice whenever i do the side movements. This pain never appears when doing smooth jogging. I have consulted orthopedic doctor and after x-ray every thing looks normal but still having pain. Could you plz advice what to do to get relief as i cant play my favorite football game? Thank you

My left hip seems to lock and sometimes painful in the hip joint. I relieve it by standing and placing my hands on my desk and lifting myself - stretching my lower back. My lower back pops and the paint stops in my hip. I do this about 2 or 3 times a day. And while stretching and lifting myself in the same position I'll twist my pelvis and my left hip pops a few times and will feel like it "unlocks".
And my hip pain and the "locked" hip feeling goes away for a while. Not sure why all this is happening. And periodically I'll be walking and my both my lower legs get numb. When the numbing occurs I'll find a place to do the same stretches of lifting myself and popping my lower back - and the numbness goes away.
I do have arthritis in my hips and some in the lower back -but that doesn't hurt too often but once or twice a month.
I do sit a lot at work for many years and I'm guessing my lower back has gotten week. What do you think Bob & Brad?

If there is no injury, most of the hip pain comes from emotions: study dr. Gert Ryke Hamer _ German medicine or see what yoga specialists are telling about the emotions in the hip!!!

I have bilateral hip pain, equal intensity, only when I'm moving the joints. I walk 3-5 miles a day with my dog, and it's quite bothersome. It has just started hurting over the last week. Do you think the pain source is my back?(I just watched this video) I frequently have lower "back" pain, though since watching some other videos, wondering if it's SI pain.

I'm 19 and I have sharp, deep pain on the back of my right hip and spreading up my very low back. I lift heavy 4 days a week, ride my bike every day, and am very flexible. Not sure if it'd be bursitis or not considering that it's on the posterior side. Just trying to see if anyone has had similar issues. Might take this week off from the gym and just let it rest.

Have this same thing, I think it has to do with your hips unaligned,

I get pain/tension in left thigh (IT band) muscles upto hip/side glute when I cross left leg, sit cross legged, anything that causes left hip rotation. Been like this for last 3 months after gym. What can be the potential causes? Showed to 4 doctors and they believe it is just spasm.

I need to see you guys. I have bursitis on both sides. 2009 had left and right labrum tear repaired. after the labrum repair I felt great but had a boating accident which hurt my back in 2012. still after years of the back injury I'm starting to get pain all over the hip the same pain felt when I had the labrum tear. had si joint fusion as well in 2015 and back and hip pain still killing me. only thing we know is the bursitis which is getting injections every 3 months. do they just do full lower body replacements lol
