The Dan Sullivan question is good. Here's another game changing question from Gary Keller "what is the ONE THING I can do such that by doing it everything else becomes easier or unnecessary?"
I see lots of content discussing how to do 12 week challenges, but I love to see some success stories for specific goals. I think seeing the process of a 12-week go unfold would put a lot more meat on the bone for people.
I started a home services business doing mainly landscaping and painting back a while ago and have built up a decent clientele and this spring I plan to expand what I do to cleaning services and lawn mowing services but since I do so many other things I’m going to be hiring a subcontractor or two to take on the mowing and cleaning. By doing so I believe I will be able to increase my income without really increasing my work load or working too much more! I also have an online e commerce store I do completely on the side now when business is slow or in the evenings.
Gabe have a calender and write down what you need to do each day. I have crucial numbers in there. I can't do it all but being 64 I need to remember what I have to do. Also I'm extremely organized and I pick up after myself. This means I don't waste any needed energy. At 64 you need to preserve unnecessary walks to retrieve things esp if you have knee or back problems. Believe me I'm getting things done. I'm also frugal and have the most necessary furniture that is senior citizen and handicap friendly. This means I can do my housework more easily and I no longer trip on cords, side tables or too many unnecessary things when I walk around the home. Home should not be painful and I assure you there's a lot of pain in tripping over things. So everything is user friendly and safe because I'm proactive. 🎉
Writing things down is a must to begin targeted focus. Doing so, as I have done, on various sized pieces of paper...and tossing them aside to eventually get piled up and then stashed somewhere, does little to no good. They will never be of practical use. I just used the link and ordered a Finisher's Journal. You're on my calendar for me to review things after the 90 days. Here's hoping. Thanks!
It's amazing how journaling helps. Keeps me accountable. Keeping a food intake and daily spending journals have definitely helped me. Your videos have also helped greatly! Thanks Gabe!😊
Hey Gabe, Stu from the UK here, I wanted to encourage you dude in relation to your goals - you are helping people and there is definitely value in your content. Being rich is about more than the money, and you are converying that brilliantly without even needing to shout about it. Be well dude. 🙏😎💪
Thanks for another great video! In my 40+ years of work experience, I just want to stress how important it is to REVIEW or REVISIT your goals. At least weekly. It is too easy to set a goal and then forget about it. That can be tragic. You must have a system that you use CONSISTENTLY that includes a trigger for you to keep looking at your list of goals (and projects too). To keep you on track. Looking forward to your next video!
Absolutely agree with you! Thats my biggest problem - i always set goals and then never looked back at them and felt frustrated that my life felt stagnant. I will note in my calender to revoew my goals at least on a weekly basis❤

Great video. Just started using the 'Clever Fox' Weekly planner and combining it with Daily To-do's in my notebook. Loving the system so far and feel super productive and on top of doing things that make me 1% better/ closer to achieving my goals every day.
nice (enthusiastic) video with a collection of ideas from all over the history of goal setting. I find it hard to attribute some of these ideas myself... I have read them over the years by a lot of different people... and made up different versions for my own life. I find it hard to translate my big goal into smaller pieces. Your book looks like it helps with that. I have always been hampered by having too many goals, all related to the bigger one. I just discovered your channel as I was watching other ones. I hope you and your family find happiness as you work on your plans. It gets hard to keep simple values in the online world. I guess we all just think money and fame is the best life. I hope you remember that your kids need you more than they need to work or be "lazy." 🙂
It’s kinda the same, or is the same as the 12 weeks year plan. I’ve been listening to the audiobook, but simply the mindset, to focus on a couple of goals specific and planning them out for 12 weeks, instead of having them done by December is already mindboggling to me. Such a change in meaning and behaviour of how you are going to do it. Because you only have 12 weeks, you will have to plan and work on it, instead of waiting for tomorrow or the ‘next month I’ll start’. I like the look of those planners, I got mine for 2024 already in place, but something to look into for maybe next year. 😂😅
I also like to take a step back when setting goals and look at my priorities from different angles. You wrote " Stop Worrying". Seriously? I don't think you have anything to worry about.
Hey Man! Love your videos and all the valuable information you put out. I’m also local here in NH and own a pizza business. I’m looking to get myself my first propertie(s) this year towards the end of the year mostly but on the lookout right now to engage on the current market. If you have some time I’d love to pick your brain about your first steps into this field and any advice you can give me. Free pizza is all I can offer right now! Keep up the awesome videos!
This was so helpful! I just checked out The One Thing from the library and I can’t wait to read it. I like this because I have a few goals that I’d like to accomplish this year but if I started them all at once, I’d feel overwhelmed. 90 day chunks seem like a great way to combat that. Have you found it turns into habit stacking? At least for some things I would imagine maybe so. Thank you Gabe, happy new year!
You could just break down bigger goals into 90-day sections and carry them on or have the same goal multiple times I've had to do that once or twice with ones that are just going to take longer
I used to do very similar but found it took the fun out of life and made life feel like a to do list rather than enjoying it. How do you get around this?
Thank you so much for this video. I have a daily worksheet I’ve done daily for over a year (slacked for the past few weeks). The problem is I didn’t know how or when to evaluate my goal progress. This is perfect. I’ve done Mel Robbins Launch program for the past 2 years and that’s how I started doing the worksheet. Hoping this will give me a way to keep track of progress and continue moving towards my goals.
Thanks a lot for your great videos Gabe. What is the discount code for the 25% off you mentioned, for the 90 day journal? (nothing appears on Finisher site when ordering with the link). Thank you :)
I just bought your journal and now I cannot correct the ship to. Recheck your website so you have ability to do that! I notified via email but who knows whether they will care to correct it or not!
My goals are to minimise my possessions which are far too many, plus hit investment goals this year. Both easy to do with regular scheduled payments and regular scheduled measurable trips to the dump/recycle area! LOL!

Excellent point, "if you have a bunch of priorities, you don't have any priorities!".
For sure there wasn't even a plural of priorities until recently lol it's supposed to be have one priority

I just bought smoky glasses at Dollar Tree. They have a heavy, high class feel. Super happy to find these!
This is good stuff! When you take one step forward, we can reach our goals. I am using my bullet journal to track productivity and routines.
That's awesome! I know a lot of people really enjoy bullet journals

Hey Gabe, I just want to thank you for this video. It helped me with so much over the last few months it's unbelievable. ❤
Brilliant as always! This morning I started reading The one thing so far it's good.
Awesome Hope you enjoy! That book really helped me
Very Smart with specific goals and the order.
I wondered recently if I need order in my day where I like variety, and a YES on some of those.

Excellent ideas. I use a daily plan sheet and then use my calendar to make further plans. But I struggle sometimes with planning. Thanks for the vid!
Hope this helps!

I normally hate journaling but this one looks great. I will buy through your link to help support your channel.
I can't journal when it's blank but when it's literally written out for me I can actually follow it lol

Happy new year Gabe 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Happy New Year!
I might be a bit biased, but I think this is your best video yet. 😜Thank you so much for sharing your ❤ for the Finisher Journal.
For sure! I use you guys every morning
i set myself challenges rather than new years resolutions - challenges tend to stick more with me
Great video. My favorite so far
Thank you so much! Honestly this really helped me a lot too
❤Make a video, top 10 books on finance that you recommend reading
Going to be trying the 90 day goal setting this year
It's amazing!
Great advice. Thank you
👍
Hi! I'm new here! I really enjoyed this video, and you look so friendly, nice to meet you! And ofc thank you for this video :D
Welcome aboard! Thanks for watching
Hi from Sicily and thanx 4 the inspiration
Hello Sicily! Lol thanks for watching
I had set 21 goals for 2023 and only completed 3 of them. This year I've only written down 7.
The less the better if you really want to hit them narrow focus is key
I also like to take a step back when setting goals and look at my priorities from different angles.
You wrote " Stop Worrying". Seriously? I don't think you have anything to worry about.
Sometimes if I don't set a deadline I'll just keep doing more and more stuff
@@GabeBult I like that. Mine goes into the next day & next. Deadlines make sense.

I LOVE this. I have always been a loose 90 day goal setter but never taken the time to break it down to a daily practice.
Being reminded daily help so much!
Love from India 🇮🇳
What type of journal you use?
Great video ❤

Using this notebook, how do you proceed if you achieve a goal earlier than 90 days. Can you easily set a new goal?
You could just break down bigger goals into 90-day sections and carry them on or have the same goal multiple times I've had to do that once or twice with ones that are just going to take longer
Such a good video!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
Great video
Where can I get the course on Starting a TH-cam Channel? Very interested.
There is a link in the description. It's not out yet
Amazing content! I was wondering if you still maintain the systems over goals from the atomic habits or you have changed your position about that?
This is really helped me build systems to accomplish that goal.
So it's kinda a mix and helps me set the system
Anyone know some similar notebook/planner? Sadly the the shipping is too high to Germany for the one shown in this video.😐
I used to do very similar but found it took the fun out of life and made life feel like a to do list rather than enjoying it. How do you get around this?

Just ordered the journal. Lets hope its a good $100 investment into my future :)
After 2 weeks it’s arrived and I’m happy to start 😅
Thanks a lot for your great videos Gabe. What is the discount code for the 25% off you mentioned, for the 90 day journal? (nothing appears on Finisher site when ordering with the link). Thank you :)
Believe that sale might be over now it should still offer some percentage off when you click on the link
Have you read "the 12 week year" ?
I have not but a bunch of people have recommended it to me in the past couple days so I'll have to check it out

No I'm not lol
Looked like it from the video. I had this right-brain theory…so much for that. 😆
