You need to move up keratin bonded extensions every 3-6 months, I personally have them done every 4 months or so and the final month I'm really looking forward to my appointment. Also, you do not need new hair for the bonded keratin extensions if you buy good quality hair and want to reuse it, the keratin bonds can be redone and reapplied using the same hair. You can add little new hair with every appointment because you naturally lose some of the hair with brushing, washing etc. I've used my extensions for 9 + months and I'm expecting them to last about 2 years. IF you leave keratin bonds in for too long that would put your own natural hair under too much pressure and that's how we get the "horror stories" that keratin ruined someones natural hair. I still think they are the best method out there out of permanent hair extensions.

They get a discount for the hair and pocket YOUR money that you used and paid full price for. So they charge you full price for the hair while they get a discount.
“A couple hundred for install” uhhh no. $1500 minus the $800 ridiculous hair cost is $700 for the install! Also, hair shouldn’t cost $800. They’re 100% over charging you for the hair going on YOUR head which is really sad and infuriating in my opinion.

extensions should never hurt and the damage most likely came from improper installation so thats why it hurt
