    What a stellar kick ass job of explaining! Thank you! I'm getting extensions tomorrow and I'm 10 percent nervous, 90 percent excited!. I'm an Esthetician so I'm familiar with hair color just from talking to co workers and school but was nervous with this because it's so costly. I've done my research of course but thanks for the stuff I didn't know! I heard the Moroccan oil is good on the extensions too. Should this be an everyday thing or only when they are washed? Also, I'm glad you mentioned not using Olaplex. Any Shampoo suggestions? Thanks gorgeous!

    • @InvisibleBeadExtensions

      Hey!! You can massage your shampoo into your scalp as you typically would, you just want to make sure to really get in between the wefts. We love Kevin Murphy Hydrate for shampoo and conditioner. Your natural hair will grow out smoothly and remain healthy.

    • @InvisibleBeadExtensions
      @InvisibleBeadExtensions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Here is a couple suggestions, try using a detangler after you wash, and invest in a high quality leave in conditioner. Another solution would be to braid your hair before going to sleep. Also reach out to your stylist and express your concerns so he/she can provide additional solutions.

    I had sewn-in wefts a month ago that were awful. Color and texture totally didn't match, she didn't blend my hair well. Disaster. Anywho, I also had olaplexed my hair (before the extensions) - and it made my actual hair fall out and break. In order to try and get my confidence back again - I am going to probably be getting IBE next week. I have a consult Friday. Since I have curly hair (VERY THING NOW, THOUGH), would you suggest getting wavy vs. straight? I wore it straight every day of my life until I had the sewn-in extensions taken out.

      I've had extensions for over 9 months now... and I've had the same problem... it's terrible. I also find that I get ALOT of breakage and lose length over time.... I've learnt along the way... silk is a massive help. Silk pillow case and silk turban. Also learning how to put your hair up in it... but ALL of your hair needs to be hidden under the silk or you'll get frizzy dead ends... I've been hunting high and low for a silk wrap like a microfibre hair twist... but can't....

    • @InvisibleBeadExtensions
      @InvisibleBeadExtensions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      We do recommend you focus on the scalp and especially in between the wefts, then yes just a little amount towards the ends. Because extensions don't produce any natural oils, if you over shampoo the ends it will actually dry them out!

    Quick question- I love my extensions !!! They are amazing but I’m noticing that the color is different it got a little brassy can i use purple shampoo on them /?? I love how natural they look but the color needs a little bit of help now, not sure it its water or product that is causing the color to change??

    • @InvisibleBeadExtensions
      @InvisibleBeadExtensions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey!! Ok so extensions can go brassy for a couple of reasons, are you using a clear oil? If the oil has a tint it can alter the color of your extensions. Have you recently gotten sunscreen in them? But also product makes a huge difference in keeping the tone true and lasting longer. I wouldn’t recommend a purple shampoo, I would see if your stylist can tone your hair for you and then invest in a good quality extension safe product for your hair care routine.

      It is best to blow dry them after or avoid getting them wet if you cannot dry them. The weight of wet hair for a long period of time is not great for your scalp, even for any method. You can tie your hair in a high pony tail and then wrap your hair around into a bun with another elastic around that. Hope this helps!

    Do not let your extensions air dry. This is the worst advise. Do not let your extension stay wet for more than 30 mins or they swell.

    • @InvisibleBeadExtensions
      @InvisibleBeadExtensions  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We recommend letting it air dry to not start the blow drying process on sopping wet hair, like towel drying BUT you do need to blow dry the top (at the root) of your wefts to minimize the swelling in hand tied wefts. Micro wefts are made for clients who would like to let their hair air dry completely! 😉

      Let's not say such hurtful things especially about someone who you are assuming would've felt insecure enough about themselves to feel the need to change their appearance. If she feels more confident the way she looks now good for her, some people like that look.
