    I’m new to your channel. Love the content. I started out as phlebotomist, CCMA to back office lead, supervisor, now doing manager duties. How do you keep track of everything? I’m always worried I’m gonna drop the ball somewhere. Would love to hear your career journey.

      Thank you for the support! I’m actually working on a video on how I keep myself organized. To do lists and scheduling tasks have been extremely helpful. If I don’t write it down, it’s not going to get done. I put EVERYTHING on my calendar and set reminders for myself on the most important things. More to come on that! Always extend yourself grace too. Everyone drops the ball sometimes; what matters is what you do about it.

    Pro tip: match the music volume with your speaking volume, so your viewers won't have to adjust back an forth. Good content otherwise :)

    I just finished my first semester of my MHA program. Do you have any clinical experience? I am a little worried that could hinder my opportunities. Thanks!

    • @lynzbinz531
      @lynzbinz531  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don’t have any clinical experience. It’s true, there are a lot more opportunities if you have a clinical background but that doesn’t mean you’re hindering anything for yourself because of it. Your career may just head in a different direction than you might expect

    I’m currently working as a CNMT with past experience as an EMT and Medical Scribe. I’m planning to start an MHA program to help transitioning over to the administration side of thing. Do you think my clinical experience with an MHA will help with that? Should I find a fellowship? Does it matter if the MHA is online or in person? I enjoy your video! Thank you!

    • @lynzbinz531
      @lynzbinz531  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow way to go! Any relevant past experience will be helpful in your administration journey. I have skills and knowledge from my roles from 8 years ago that I still use today. Fellowships are a personal preference and based on your situation. Fellowships are an excellent way to get exposure to healthcare institution and I’ve seen admin fellows get hired on when they finish. I personally did do one because I was already working in the hospital and didn’t want to quit my job for it and I already had connections to senior executives in my current job. My one recommendation for choosing an MHA program so it make sure it’s accredited. Online vs in person should be based on the learning environment that works best for you. My MHA program had both and there were pros and cons to each but I had good discipline to do online and keep up with the coursework.

    HELLO ma'am , i have completed my MEDICAL SCHOOL from INDIA, i have got my DOCTORS bachelor degree, i want to switch my career in HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATION , what is the SCOPE and SALARY in USA with my doctors degree , is it really WORTH CHANGING from DOCTOR to ADMINISTRATION?
    Will MY DOCTORS degree , give any advantage in administrative role and salary?
    Please reply mam

      In the US we require more than a bachelor’s degree to be a doctor. You need a bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD, which is 12 years of college, not 4… so your “doctors bachelor degree” doesn’t really exist in the US.
