बिल्डर की मनमानी पर लगाम लगाते हुए उत्तर प्रदेश रेरा ने बड़ा कदम उठाया है। रेरा ने बिल्डरों को निर्देश दिया है कि वह उसी नाम से रेरा में प्रोजेक्ट को रजिस्टर कराएं, जिस नाम से अथॉरिटी द्वारा परियोजना का मैप अप्रूव्ड किया गया है। इतना ही नहीं, टावर्स या ब्लॉक के वही नाम लिखे जो अप्रूव्ड मैप में स्वीकृत किया गया हो। प्रोजेक्ट बेचने के लिए प्रोमोटर उसी नाम से प्रचार-प्रसार करें जिस नाम से परियोजना रेरा में पंजीकृत है।
