Wow!! This video just give me soo much insights because generally in Internet you see only glam part of these work but this episode gives the other side also . Thanks to all the 4 of you guys!!❤
Much needed conversation siddhant. Loved the way mukund and manthan explained about PE and Consulting. Request you to make a conversation with ACCA's too 🙏
This podcast is so so good keep it up man kudus to bringing these peoples they all sound so intellectual and relevant also they speaked so well it went directly to my brain.
1:04:10 I guess what he's talking about is also present in India as well, like students with bachelor's degrees getting into MBB, the thing is they hire only from the elite undergrad colleges like top IITs and SRCC, St. Stephens or other few top DU colleges and BITS, yes the number is low but it's increasing year by year.
Thank you so much Nandini, Mukund and Manthan for giving us these valuable insights into your respective work domains. Thank you, Siddhant, for taking the initiative and bringing together all the pals. This was my first time on your channel and I have already become an instant fan of it. Eagerly awaiting many more videos like this. Regards, Meet😊
Though I have known only Nandini before watching this podcast, Manthan's insights were most useful and thought provoking. 👍 Don't know why but Nandini doesn't look very participative 😅 Informative podcast 🙌
What role does the general corporate lawyers play in the PE,VC and M&A deals? Siddhant please do make a video on this topic inviting associates or partners from big law firms. Being a law student, gen corp has always excited me and would love to get more insights on what they exactly.

After completing CA also you need to compete with other CAs to get into good brands and it is same Case in MBA too means a person who is giving his 4-5 years to a course and not able to find the desired job after that then why should a person do CA. So what's the way to crack it (Correct me if I am wrong) i think that multiple degrees will help like do MBA + CA or CFA + CA or MBA + CFA Or Secure a Rank in CA or CFA then requirement of MBA would be reduced to some extent
I'm into my one year internship from small firm and always feel i had so much potential to grow and do my best. I am planning to rank in Finals and secure my job in PE. In order to get selected i think i need my rank for sure. Or else the interviewer will show me door 🚪😅😂
The fact that most of them have an outstanding past academic record and ranks in at least one level with one of them having a MBA degree from IIMA explains everything.
I'm a fast learner and rank holder since my childhood. I remember a lot of things🙂I'm pursuing bcom hons but i don't know what should i do know🙂..i just want proper pathway
Start with NISM equity derivatives and research analyst exam. You'll know from there whether you actually like finance or not. If the answer is yes, then pursue CFA along with skills like LBO, Financial modelling etc.
I have a doubt that after qualifying cma can we go to investment banking or consulting or private equity. If go what are the steps we have to go in these roles
Sir what are your opinions about choosing to do an MBA or CA? Since its agreed by your guys as well that CA is more technical, can you give an opinion if one should even take up CA in today's time considering the journey of a non ranker or multiple attempt graduate.
@@allrounderanime3294 depends what you wanna do, CA is more focused on audit, tax and corporate laws, costing, budgeting and financial reporting while CFA is complete finance. What field you prefer would be best for you
Is it necessary to have a CA in your resume to study markets or to aggressively participate in the industry? Any thoughts? Does it help extensively? Or it is just a coincidence that a lot of people happen to come from that brand.
To answer this, I think CAs have extensive knowledge of markets/industries/various finance domains. Plus it's a presumed that a CA would be a better fit. However, in certain cases it's not absolutely necessary to come from the CA brand, there are many that are well versed without the qualification.
