- Hi all, it’s a temporary fix, for full fix you need to change fuel pressure regulator and learn the system by using diagnostic tool. If you have any questions please write it bellow in the comments.

You don't need calibration of the scv because you only cleaned it right?

The pump regulator valve does not always fail, more than 50% of the failures are due to the pressure limiting valve that is in the fuel rail, not the sensor, the limiter is a bolt that protrudes from the common rail rail. It remains open and the ramp pressure drops No siempre falla la válvula reguladora de la bomba, mas del 50% de los fallos son por la válvula limitadora de presion que va en la rampa de combustible, no el sensor, la reguladora, un perno que sobresale de la rampa de common rail. Se queda entreabierta y baja la presión de la rampa.
BUT I HAVE NO IDEA HOW YOU GOT IN THERE, IT'S TOO TIGHT, THERE IS NO ROOM

Please can you explain which sensor i should spray DPF CLEANER TO CLEAN MY DPF EXHAUST
Hi, if the dpf light is on. First try going to motorway and drive for around 5-10 min in low gear, it should clean itself and the light will turn off. It helps for me.

Hi, try to remove it again and clean it, it looks like the valve is stuck. It never happened to me. Let me know how did you sort ot out. thanks

1.7cdti jerking under acceleration and rough idle intermittently. Cleaned EGR, changed fuel filter. No codes but a low reading on fuel rail pressure sensor in live data? Any ideas? Would it be this?

@@xdagasx4153 i reduced the intake on my egr valve, much more power and accelerates faster
What do you mean by reducing intake of EGR?
@ruulgamba you can blank it off but you will have to get it re mapped or you can reduce the hole on the intake with a plate

My car won't start ..there's a code P0089...do I need to replace this part???? I took out the part an it's long than the one in this video...it also has no clip to open it..it's solid..my engine is 17 cdti eco...nightmare for parts.
Hi, your car have different fuel pressure regulator. I would suggest to change it, and learn the system after. P0089 means there is a problem with fuel pressure.

Hi, it could be the same, but I am not sure, so you need to check it before cleaning it.
I think it is. I decided to replace mine adter rough idle in Zafira 1.7cdti (2014). Looks the ssme. But check engine code..its at the back of the engine, not far from oil filter…

Compre un opel astra 2010 y venia con los mismos síntomas o incluso peor y gracias ati pude solucionarlo ojo que no soy mecánico ni nada solo seguía tus pasos pero no exactamente igual use una lija 2000 y papel de cocina e gastado como 5 euros y a quedado de maravilla se siente y corre mucho mejor y el motor se escucha mucho más tranquilo no ise la regeneración ni nada pero me da el mismo consumo que ati una ves que lo e echo espero dure mil grasias desde zaragoza España.
What if I took it out clean put back the same regulator and do the learning process via diagnostic tool, is this good or bad bcs you said only new parts have to be programmed to learn and mine is very strange now it takes more fuel than in average and gas pedal seems to be heavier on the foot, any solution?
Hi, you can try to clean it and learn it. But it looks like you have a different problem.
the part is a switch, therefore it has no electronics, the electronics are elsewhere, so 'programming' is not necessary
Mine astra j 1.7cdti 130, jerks cold in first gear going downhill. Could this be the case?

Hi, this fix is only for diesel engines (and not all have the same fuel pressure regulator). Because your car is petrol, the problem could be different from mine.
I have a Vauxhall Astra diesel 1.7 2011 I've had it serviced and thers definitely no fuel leak , I've noticed my fuel is getting used up very fast cud this be the problem the fuel pressure sensor??
This affects Idle and can stutter on start up and driving. I would check the EGR and clean it also think about regular checks on air, Fuel Cleaning with all filters.. something is blocked
