I’ve only tested them for a few minutes, but in my testing Beats nailed the sound and the ANC works well to not intrude on the music like it can tend to do on Bose and Sony’s headphones. It would probably be better if it was over-ear though, a lot of people don’t find it super comfortable which is important and makes AirPods Pro or Powerbeats Pro a better option for most people.
My friend had them and he let me try them on. Honestly the price isn't worth it. I wear the Sony 1000xm3 and they are miles better. He tried them and loved them and sent the Beats back. The new Solo Pro's to me sound better than the previous beats . But they aren't above a Sony, Bose, Sen. Ect. The headphones personally for me just don't offer enough for that price. Most people make the claim that "Beats Have More Bass" or whatever. The Skullcandy Crushers are a better choice in my opinion.
@@GYMCADDY Honestly they shake my whole entire head 😂 when people always mention how "Good" the bass was on the Beats I was always lost need to get them hipped to the Skullcandys

thank you for the review.. you provide certain details which most other reviewers might not cover, which is why I have a suggestion: cover real life headphone latency for movie watching on the mac - that's something i have not found anywhere so far. my airpods are perfect - i notice no latency. but i got anker soundbuds curve (just until my airpods pro arrive), they are good for music but while watching videos the audio is out of sync. this no-Apple-chip latency fear stopped me from getting Sony WH-H900N which may have even better sound than Solo Pro and is available for USD 200..so i am still looking for something with W1/H1 chip that has even better sound than Airpods Pro. Solo Pro has more neutral sound than Solo 3
I like your honest review!! They are on sale at Best Buy for 175 now. Or I could get the Sony xm4’s for 300. What do u recommend? I’m kind of an audiophile
Thank you! I just bought a pair of Beats Solo 3 & going to return them for the JBL LIVE 650BTNC that you reviewed. I don't know who I thought I was purchasing a $248 dollar headphones lol Thanks for your review & helping me regain some common sense lol
I bought the Sony WH-1000XM3 based on your unbiased reviews. Thanks a lot for not kissing up to Apple. The mids and highs on the Beats Solo Pro are SOOOOO muffled, it's annoying. Great reviews. Gracias por todo su trabajo.
I'm an average consumer who uses the qc35s so could you include those in some of your comparisons since I bet a lot of users still have older headphones. Thanks!😁
I have to say that I just bought the brand new Bowers & Wilkins PX5’s and they are great for 300€. They have a very good dynamic range, pristine audio channel separation and they feel super luxurious with leather, carbon fiber composite and they’re really comfortable. They have really good ANC too. I just think it is the perspective. There are more things you have to get right in order to be able to justify the price tag. I would advise you to take a look at them and maybe do a comparison video. I also have some constructive criticism that I want to bring to you: In my opinion, it is weird that you keep looking at the headphones and away from the camera every time you are talking about the product that you are reviewing. To me it feels annoying and looks like you are reciting a part of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” with the headphones being the skull. I really enjoy your videos though. They are of high standard, the effort put into them is big and I enjoy listening to you. Maybe you should just lift the headphones not looking away from the camera. However, it might be just me. 😊👌🏻
Honestly, all ANC headphones are starting to be extremely overpriced. The new Bose don’t even sound that great, their only good quality being its ANC, and they cost four hundred dollars. And since the new Sennheiser Momentum costs that too, I can expect Sony’s next iteration to follow the same trend.
beats solo pro's used bowers and wilkins sound engineers. It's a leap above. The headphones imo cost what they should. It's the only italian sounding headphone.
The thing is that even if they want to hv cost saving measures for these things thats good. But they are offering the audio cable seperatly which adds in the price for 'on-ear" headphones. That is just dumb stoopid and apple are just being mean here. Such cheaters.

I hate that they messed up the look, the arms of the band stick out so far from head, hate that look, on the old solo and style they were closer to your head...for this reason alone it's a no go
If you're really into on ear headphones and you're willing to spend $300 for a pair, then might as well just get the B&O Beoplay H8i. They obliterate the Beats in nearly all categories: design, build quality, comfort, and sound quality. The comparison is not even close. The B&O is maybe still a little overpriced for a pair of on ear headphones but you're getting way more value for your money than you are getting with a pair of Beats.
Yeah definitely, the H1 chip and the seamless integration is one of the main reasons why ive always loved AirPods. And it great that beats have them too. But when it comes to a proper pair of headphones there are other things to take into consideration
I think they're overhyped. I'm using my solo 2 wireless and I don't think sound wise there's a huge difference? Like what the point of a having "transparency feature"? Or the lighting cable that's not included 😂
