I am currently charging my beats but I am just using my apple earphones for now! But I have to admit the solo pros are so much better quality and I love that fact they added transparency mode! People were waiting for them to add transparency mode on the studio 3s but they never did! But now having the solo pros they are much better quality and worth your money! I also loved the packaging and case
I think he meant that it exaggerates certain parts of the sound (bass and highs) like a Samsung phone camera exaggerates some parts of the image (colors). So I think the impression was that it wasn't perfectly neutral and balanced, but also not bad.

I just bought a pair today and I love them! I managed to get them at 30% discount and, though a little bit pricey, are worth it once you have them. Overall, I love them and i love the colour option too (I also have the colour advertised in the video)!

As far as the carrying case go, I think people have different head sizes, so when they like to leave on certain length, when folding the headphones tend to expand, and only soft case can expand with it!
