- In this video the difference in reducing ability of lithium aluminium hydride and sodium borohydride is discussed. Main reasons are electronegativity difference between aluminium and boron, and energy mismatch during boron - hydrogen and aluminium - hydrogen bond formation. In next videos their reactions will be discussed along with the reaction mechanisms. Highly important for NET, GATE, IIT, NEET, B.Sc. and M.Sc. students.
