what a glory to find such a best teacher in our present time KHAN
Now I am fearless from Birch reduction 😅. Thanku so much sir 😇😇
Birch Reduction of (1) Aromatic compounds (2) Alkynes (3) Conjugated Dienes (4) AlphaBeta unsaturated Ketones@
Thank you it helped me before the exam
thanks man for this beautiful explaination ❤️
Vernice explaination ..nice mechanism
Thanks very much ❤️❤️❤️ Khan Academy 💖
Good explanation ❤
Well done
Very useful
Explained well, but what is the use of NH3 here?
+Bhargav Varshney I think NH3 may be used to creat alkali medium and increase reductive.
It creates a solvated electron which is free in solution. Periodic videos has a video on it and its pretty interesting
Nice
To create quite stable ammoniated electron
@@nurserynisarga979 would it work even without alcohol ? (with ammonia acting as a base as an acid )?
Thank u
what is the work of nh3 here?
Thanks
Wait a minute, this isn't Organic Chemistry Tutor
I want the clip from organic chemistry tutor
Tysm
The voice was so boring but good expain....
Another one that is not worth watching. I'm interested in gaining insight into how things work, not memorize for tests. He puts in reactants like NH3 and then never even mentions what part they play in the reaction.
It just gives protons
actually liq NH3 donates Hydrogen but he used R-OH of donating hydrogen
