What a lovely couple! I’m no relationship coach or body language expert! But when my husband began sitting next to me with his leg crossed away from me, towards the door! I knew our Marriage was heading for trouble! Our body language never lies!! I wish Oti and Marius a long and happy marriage!!! 👸🏾💕🙌🏾
Love love love this couple, may they be blessed 🙏🏽 the part when she was in the shower crying and marius came in and held her, absolutely got me😭, really lovely chemistry between them both❤

Paul, what I love about you from the MAFS program is your humbleness and how you pay attention to details. That’s my favorite thing about you! I came across your channel, and it reminded me that I had wanted to find it before. I’ve now subscribed. Thank you so much for sharing with us. You’re an amazing couple. Bless you both! 😁❤️❤️
I love this! This podcast is amazing I love how its been so diverse on each episode its so well rounded and obviously Paul is AMAZING this has been my evening entertainment ❤ thankyou
I have learnt so much just from listening to this interview.I know aht good feels like and looks like. They are perfect for each other for sure. Paul you asked amazing questions too
What a lovely couple and thank you Paul for the questions you asked. A lot of life gems, I now have words to explain the type of relationship I want to continue to have with my husband, family members and friends!!❤❤❤❤
What a lovely unselfish couple they both have worked so hard, love that both take equal part with everything, especially with their beautiful daughter no doubt they both have had to both work so hard but always encourage each other, i wish i could of seen them dance together, still miss you on strictly loved the dance you corographed on sunday, brilliant both wish you all the happiness ❤❤
Thankyou a very inciteful conversation there were lots of lessons to be taken and Otis husband was just what she needed. They were so lucky to have to find each other and learn from each other Marius is very wise may they have much Joy A great lesson in successful partnership
Even though this podcast only scratches the surface in the analysis terms, of the huge challenges Otti and Marius face(d) as mixed-race couples or professionals in the entertainment industry or dealing with a premature baby or being the rebel in a family. It is important that these issues are addressed for all to learn from. Paul offers reflections and insights in an accessible, deeply humaine way. Offering this within the limitation of this short time for the interview and references to concepts if the viewer wants to explore further. Thank you to all three for this shared work.
Just wow Only found these podcasts with you paul I loved this with oti and hubby And have watched the one with maura higgins You are fantastic doinv these
Paul, can I come on and speak about my experience being a Windrush child? I long to speak and have discussions about coming from JA as a baby and meeting my parents for the first time. There are others like me. Perhaps a group discussion? It’s black history month remember 😅. Thanks x
I thought this one would've resonated with me more being in the arts/entertainment industry; but I think the last 2 x interviews (Will and Sadia) gave such great takeaways it was gonna be hard to trump. Fave: Author Will Stor (suprisingly) 2nd- Sadia Khan 3rd- Lauren Goodger 4th - This one Love the diversity though bring on next Tuesday 🤗
Wow this brings back memories for me I’m from Rhodesia and I met my white husband there I went through a tough time lost people I thought were friend because they couldn’t understand why I was with a white man restaurants would refuse to serve us but I wised up and would go to the ladies wait a while why my husband placed an order got back the food was there and they couldn’t take it away from us although they called me coloured because my dad was half white my grandma must have went through a tougher time than myself my husband and I moved to the UK where I’m based back in Rhodesia my children would have been the wrong colour - so I can relate to Oti and her family why this world has to be like it is we don’t choose who we fall in love with and we all Gods creation let’s learn to love each other 🙏🙏 well done 👏🏼👏🏼Oti & you husband for speaking up👍🏼💕
Great interview but I think you missed lots out . I don't think you explored the breadwinner question properly . When in a partnership the money & income is for the family so there's no such thing as a breadwinner in this day & age 🤷♀️ Maurice came across as a man's man , v macho , knows who he is , v self assured & focused . Lovely couple
I didn't realise that Marius was that much older than Oti...I think he is like 7 or 8 years older so he was already 30 when they met, hhmmm thats puts a very different spin on it as I thought they were the same age.I suppose it meant that Marius to some extent was an older more mature as man than a similarly 22 or 23 year old man would have been.I think if they had of been the same age than maybe a man would have been more competitive and less supportive of Oti being "the more successful one".Maybe its not a matter of age but of character but he had obviously been round the bloc a few times and knew himself and was able to some extent provide Oti with the support to be the dancer and come over to the UK and strictly etc but it seems she also has a very strong family support system also which helps ALOT and a father who was keen to make sure she did not make a man the centre but her own career and goals etc. Also that fear of failure as a "black woman"Oti talked about ...hhhmm I'm not sure whether that fear was just as a "black woman"representing but just as a human being, individual and the fear of failure...especially when younger and especially when still so unsure of oneself and not so sure how to fail.I think its a bit disingenuous really to always represent it as "I am representing black women"...because even though in one way I get it but I think it also hides her own personal fears of failure or not being good enough and lets face it who doesn't have those fears !!!!!! Also hadn't her sister already been in Germany and made it in the dance world so she had her as a role model...Oti has many many "privileges"in the sense she has a very strong family ties and support and yes within the context of racism she has to fight as a black women but she cannot minimise her other privileges which many white or black may not have,in fact I think they are the biggest privileges of all in some ways.
@@Bee-bh8nk I’m not God so I can’t pass judgment. What I do have is a high level of discernment. I’m not feeling him… end of story. It’s Oti that has to feel him, not me! It’s not negativity, it’s my intuition. Now have a nice day

Wow this brings back memories for me I’m from Rhodesia and I met my white husband there I went through a tough time lost people I thought were friend because they couldn’t understand why I was with a white man restaurants would refuse to serve us but I wised up and would go to the ladies wait a while why my husband placed an order got back the food was there and they couldn’t take it away from us although they called me coloured because my dad was half white my grandma must have went through a tougher time than myself my husband and I moved to the UK where I’m based back in Rhodesia my children would have been the wrong colour - so I can relate to Oti and her family why this world has to be like it is we don’t choose who we fall in love with and we all Gods creation let’s learn to love each other 🙏🙏 well done 👏🏼👏🏼Oti & you husband for speaking up👍🏼💕
❤❤❤❤❤. Am black and from Rhodesia too. Wish it remained Rhodesia not the corrupt Zimbabwe.
@RuvaTapiwait will NEVER be called Rhodes... again it's Zimba- dzema-bwe.

I’ll be real! I’m not really feeling Oti’s husband for a reason I can’t pinpoint.
Stop being judgemental to someone you don’t know. He doesn’t care if you feel him or not. Keep negativity to yourself.

I think he is very interesting in his own way. I enjoyed listening to both their sides of story.
@@FITAFTER60-x5l interesting indeed. Glad you enjoyed the episode, it was a good watch if anything.
Really. It’s ok as long as Oti loves him FULL STOP.
