Not Savings the Successors really hurts me. I know I was going for this ending but damn....not Saving Eva really made me feel sad. I’m shocked by this ending. Especially since Louis finally did what he couldn’t to Cruz. This was a legendary bad ending.
@@peynnep6483 I'm going to necro this comment just to say that imo, the only blood code that was useful for me was Queen's Breath, specifically the passive that lets you carry heavier weapons. Zwei on normal, Iceblood on quick on a heavy blood veil? Count me in.

Something I think that makes it more heartpunching is that Io, who normally seems deadpanned usually, looks and sounds really broken by the MC’s death.
I’m half way on going for this ending on one of my characters and now starting to have second thoughts on it, just seeing Louis tear up with having to kill us just rips my heart out
I got the good ending first time actually, i kinda got spoiled about how to get it though -_- its certainly less painful than this one, i think what hurts more is the fact that Louis and the gang have to make up for our mistakes and take the role of successors
Honestly I wish I had know there were multiple endings for it. If I had known, I would’ve brought all the required vestiges to the Attendants, but I thought to myself “Potart, you don’t need to do that. You could just give them to Io at the Home Base.” Yeah I regret not doing it sooner.
I'm happy I stumbled upon the good ending because the way I play I explore the entire area as much as possible before doing boss fights. Plus I like the canon of me and my revenant buddies going off to be God eaters now.

@@mad0813 There is the good/true ending, the Bad ending and the neutral ending (Its not that good you dont really miss something) for the neutral you must save at least 1 successor but not all of them, just dont save 4 or 0
boite normal: Just finished the game on the neutral ending lol. And BOY I was disappointed at the ending!! Roughly 4 minutes long with little happening!! I thought to myself "that's it? More than 120 hours of storymode gameplay and that's all I get!?" Well.....turns out that I got only one of three endings lol. The bad & good endings are definitely way better and worth getting after a long playthrough. The neutral one? Not so much lol. Will have to play the whole game over as it seems now if I am to get to the true ending! The bad ending is good but far too fucked up overall! So I am aiming to get the good ending now. Especially the fact that the good ending literally leads to the events of God Eater franchise lol. Definitely the same universe!
i feel the ending should have made it so we get to play as Louis and we fight our self until it jumps to the scene of louis backstabbing us...................since pretty much he is the 2nd main characther since he helps us out first, and he has helped fight with us through the whole game
You know what hits harder is, not many revenants can become successors, so say if no one can stop Louis and the crew from frenzying the entire world is dead upon the queen's return. Nothing good comes from this. I'm forcing myself to get this ending. It's painful as hell though.
I got a neutral ending in my first play through. And now that I watched this, I can truthfully say I will go the extra mile for the good ending instead
I just beat the game recently and got the neutral ending. Halfway through the game I had the feeling there were multiple endings. All of the signs were obvious imo. The thing that confirmed it was the attendant standing outside the elevator leading to the skull king. But wow this bad end isn't what I expected
I kinda wish the game did something like in tales of xillia 2 where when you reach the bad ending you need to fight all of your friends as the final boss. As sad as this ending in I feel that would have really pushed the nail in the coffin on this one making it even sadder.
The completionist in me has been silenced. This ending is far too sad of a fate. I’ll let my character rest now that I’ve completed the middle ending, and just now the good ending.

I intentionally did this ending since I already saw my brother get the good ending, where he saves all of them, and during my playthrough, I kept Louis as my partner for the whole time. And boy was my heart crushed when I saw Louis stab me in the back like that. I mean I know I did this on purpose, but it hurts so much since he was stayed as my partner till the very end😭😭 I didn't know he was going to do this, all I knew it was a bad ending where maybe I kill every one and the end but damn seeing Louis take my spot and kill me too hurt like a bitch 😭

Honestly I'd argue that they did make the bad ending ''better'' than the good ending. The bad ending really feels all intensity of the oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck shit thats happening, and the music they wrote for the bad ending, the King of something something OST was composed perfectly, and they implemented it so well in this cutscene. I dont feel like that with the music of the good ending. While still great, it was a little too ''cheerful'' or something. While I prefer to see the good ending on all my characters, I cant deny the bad ending feels much more intense and better? crafted.
The bad ending feels more in tone for what you’ve seen throughout the game (and through the Vestiges). Burdens, trauma, inheritance and the inevitable Tragedy that can occur when that legacy is passed on, intentionally or otherwise. The Heirs ending feels like that more pessimistic take on the games themes writ large compared to how the other two endings view it. Even if I prefer the Neutral/Good Endings, this does have an oomph to it that the other endings don’t quite reach.
U know the different parts of the Queen u have to retrieve from the chosen ones as they so called them u will see stone figures after u fight the chosen ones long story short activate the stone figures on all the chosen ones to get the true ending the bad ending is if u just walk thru the door without activating the stone figures
I think this is actually my favorite ending. I like the tragedy and cyclical feeling. Reminds me of dark souls. It's also by far the most interesting to watch and the music is awesome. I like that our character isn't some super hero and is consumed by the queens power like anyone else would be
I mean its less about being a superhero and more about repeating the same mistakes. You were given the opportunity to save world after years of suffering and made all the wrong decisions. And when our friends frenzy, the red mist falls and that's the end of the world.

A tragic hero realizing that, for all their intentions, they have become the monster they wanted to stop. Plus it helps that this ending has the best music. Good ending has so much generic ass cheery droll it almost felt slice-of-life ish lol
This is an awful ending, in that it's depressing as shit, but it's exactly for that reason that it's my favourite ending. Nothing got sorted out, a bad situation got worse and you literally went back to step one. It's the amount of depressing I always want from a Souls-like.
At first I thought when I beat this for the first time. I thought the bad ending means being evil. I thought I would turn against my friends. But damn I got stabbed in the back before I get to chance to.

Without the attendants or a successor that can calm the others your friends will be alone as the slowly lose themselves madness then they’ll eventually lose themselves, escape from their crypts and the Gaol of the Mists will be broken. Once that happens you the new Queen will be reborn and alongside the Horrors of the Great Collapse and the hordes of Lost you will reduce this entire world to ash and all that will be left is the deafening silence of your own isolation.

Bad ending I cried because Io disappears. Neutral ending I cried because Io turns to stone. Good ending I cried because Io sacrifices herself to save everyone and then returns. Why do games like this always make me cry no matter the outcome????
I have to play this games 4 times. I just finished my first playthrough (got good ending and true ending) Then second playthrough is for bad ending. Third for neutral ending. Fourth, to get back to the good ending path.
Talk about a bad ending. You let everyone die, you get corrupted and die, and your friends sacrifice themselves to do what you fought so hard to stop. Whole thing just screams "you messed up big time!"
The worst thing is that the queen will be reborn no matter what happens.There are no more watchers for the relics so nobody knows about them since everyone who knew is either dead or has one of the relics and as we have seen everyone can frenzy which shows that the teams is just delaying the inevitable
it's sad but this ending has the coolest cutscene imo, and the mUSIC. that theme was amazing there (i know its final boss theme but it's great here) i got neutral ending and it's so boring compared to this

Fahad Plays Yeah, I just got the bad ending when I finished New Game Plus the first time, so I could get it out of the way. I’m probably going to try and get it again because I did not record it all, just the end of it. I want to record all of the endings with my characters.
Apparently, I'm heading to the good ending, and I wanted to see the bad one... Man... this is very sad but it's too cool :O The only missed opportunity was of you/player not actually fighting your friends and then proceeding to Le Backstab from Louis. It would make it even cooler. Also, it'd be a better one for a continuation me thinks. You awakening, and leaving the mist and going out to the World, where something would happen to you and you'd be rescued by GE's, and the Queen in you would Slumber. You would remember all of your friends but not what occured after killing the Virgin Born. So, you become a GE or you are the first of a new unit, and while you help and protect the world, in the end, the Queen suddenly reawakens and you turn against everyone. So many possibilities with this ending! :3

This ending was amazing and horrific at the same time! The effect this has on me...is...is...is haunting! I love the hell out of this game! I am in awe with all of the work the developers did and everyone involved. Every moment was a privileged to play and experience! I first played in spring of 2020 and it's already been 3 years! This game is on my top 5 favorite games of all time and it always will be!
It would have been cool if like you could fight all of them as the queen and if you died the bad ending would show and if you won then another ending would have showed up
I accidentally skipped this Scene just a couple of minutes ago. Thought that after Skullking you also had to fight The Virgin Reborn, but apparently not when you have the bad Ending. 🤷♂️

Got the good ending first try and came to see if there were any others. When I defeated Nicola I was shaking because I thought I wasn’t going to be able to save him, I’m glad I was able to get all fragments 😅
Glad I looked up the bad ending before going ahead and doing it, I’ve already got the other 2, with my first being the neutral ending since I was severly under level on the snowy peaks and just wanted to push through. But I gotta prefer the true ending, though it’s sad that every ending has to either have Io die or sacrifice herself.
3:22 Right there is when its not the PC anymore but Cruz/the Queen now. Its sad seeing Louis work up the nerve to attack. With Cruz he wasn't able to do it but this time he found the courage to go through. Even if it was a little too easy for my tastes for him to take the PC out. Its real depressing though since the PC was a sign of hope for the group since they could purify the springs and mistles and look into vestiges and now they have to take them out. Then they have to take over for the successors which means they will eventually go crazy too and need to be taken out. Of course its also so heartbreaking seeing IO just turn to stone like that but at least she's going to be with the PC I think.

@@MARC-555 And there's no Jack around to go switch the successors out this time too. Though if the Mist is broken that means the Aragami are probably going to start showing up again if this world exists in God Eater like people think it does.
I believe in neutral, while we do maintain the Mist, we also go into hybernation in order to adapt to the power received. We are the true Heir. I believe "To Eternity" isn't saying you'll sleep forever, but rather all roads for evolution, to eternity, are open. You must adapt to the power you received before continuing on your journey.
Oh, I still had Jack's chick with me so I guess she's the one I saved which led to me getting the neutral ending, still a rather sad ending though. Man I really wish they did a better job designing the areas in this game, some of them feels so lackluster and empty it totally ruins the experience. Seeing youtubers do early gameplay of the first area got me so hyped, then when I got to cathedral of the sacred blood all I could think was that this has got to be the worst designed area in any game i've ever played. Even tales of berseria was better in that regard and that game was made by the same company but 3 years earlier... Also they could really do with balancing some of the boss' and their damage output *cough* Mido *cough*. Also I just found out that Louis might be related to one of the characters in god eater, which means this might be the same universe as the god eater universe, actually that makes a lot of sense because at one point in code vein the red miasma goes away and a really powerful beast attacks, a beast that really looks like the dyaus pita from god eater. I guess that means that in the end the red miasma fades away and they end up having to fight the more powerful beasts that have been constantly evolving since the great collapse.
Yeah, the Cathedral and the Crypt Spire are the worst areas, though I think the rest are at least decent enough. That was a Dyaus Pita. Code Vein likely takes place a few decades after GE1. Project Queen was started in order to fight the Aragami, except the whole Queen going nuts led to the Revenants getting sealed from the rest of the world. Project Queenslayer supposedly took a few years, then all the backstories happen, Mido does his thing and then this game happens. A few years after the True Ending, the main group ventures out to the rest of the world, and probably meet up with the God Eater organizations. Lore is fun.
First i got the neutral ending. Then i got the good ending. And for this bad ending playthrough i did the entrie run solo with no partner, felt thematically correct since there was no power of friendship to save the day
On my first playthrough with a female MC I got the normal ending because I failed to save Emily. I wasn't aware there were multiple endings and I assumed Emily's death was something that was supposed to happen, but I was wrong. I found out about the other endings after getting the achievement, and once I found out that I could save Emily and get a happier conclusion I replayed the game with a male MC and succeeded in getting the better ending and I'm very happy about it. Now I'm contemplating whether or not to play the game again and get the bad ending only for the sake of getting an achievement, but I really like the story and characters and don't want them to be miserable so I decided to watch the ending on TH-cam. AND IT'S A GOOD THING I DID cause this is just too sad. Louis crying is DESTROYING ME, IT'S TOO MUCH!!! Code Vein is one of my favorite SoulBorne-like games and it's game I'm going to keep playing for years to come.🧐😢😭😊

Dispite it being called weeb souls and the some of beginnings story crap we can make fun of in the game. This game manages to be deeply endearing and pull on the heartstrings. Given the fact you give it a chance for what it is and not on the surface level.
I know I should not be watching this, because it's a spoiler but I was curious because I really don't want my character to get the bad ending. so, I decided to watch this to make sure I know what's going on, even though I still have to beat the gilded hunter bruh.
honestly, at the very least this had potential to have a good cutscene. instead you kinda just... stand there. menacingly. then die. like, even the fight against cruz was better, atleast she fought back. cmon. still, really depressing.
I'd say that at this point the Queen is still waking up, so you're "defenseless" and Louis has a chance to take you down before the Queen is fully active.
Wow now this is what a dogshit ending would look like lol never expected it to be this bad yikes ! The saddest part to me I think was seeing all the characters sitting where you're supposed to fight then save their loved ones as boss fights. Very sad indeed. Now about the Attendants I tried to do restore as many of the vestiges as I could but tbh I don't have the will to just spend extra time trying to find that 1 or 2 missing ones and in the last map idk why but there're a few Attendants who simply remain silent until you find one before you take the elevator towards the last boss, the only one you can talk to and restore vestiges. Still I didn't get this ending even though I missed a couple of vestiges, from what I hear you get it if you leave the door and don't restore the successors' memories but I believe you'd have to sacrifice them all. One thing kinda pissed me is that I didn't get the option to save the kid in the snow level, seems you have to collect every fking vestige related to him before doing the fight? Like hell how am I supposed to know that and then they give you no option to go back since you can only have 1 save 😒.
Eagle Nebula I thought one would figure it out. Though it is a bit tough, but the first successor is always a freebie I think. Which is a hint, collecting their vestiges or viewing all their memories restores them, since it should give you the option to do so. Though it’s understandable that some players might think you only need a few, I just didn’t wanna risk missing it and kinda wanted a new blood code for better gifts to have an easier time on later levels. Well, it’s always good to get the bad ending or neutral ending first so you can at least see what happens and try and understand what you missed to get it. Plus new game +, usually the first ng+ is easy. Then gets harder as you reach higher ng+’s.
better to get the eternity ending than this..very humiliating end.. just got my real ending a while ago..& it's satisfying..i hope IO somehow will reincarnate as a real revenant.. last dialogue of my character: IO ... can't wait for the fight to the outside world! we need CV2 already!😊😊😊
Here's how I think the endings work: -Bad ending: You take all relics for yourself, which then overpower you, frenzying you; -Good ending: You put your purpose in jeopardy when you didn't take all relics, inspiring Io to take the lead. Being a construct rather than a true Revenant, her mutation is affected differently by the Relics. Although, I find everyone returning to normal incredibly unrealistic. If they turned to trees too, but created replicas, I could buy it. That doesn't happen, it's too Disney like; -Neutral: You did not take every relic, so you didn't frenzie. However, your body still couldn't handle it, so you fell commatose. All you can do now is hope one day you'll wake up with the necessary strength to save who's left.

Well.....turns out that I got only one of three endings lol. The bad & good endings are definitely way better and worth getting after a long playthrough. The neutral one? Not so much lol. Will have to play the whole game over as it seems now if I am to get to the true ending! The bad ending is good but far too fucked up overall! So I am aiming to get the good ending now. Especially the fact that the good ending literally leads to the events of God Eater franchise lol. Definitely the same universe!

i feel the ending should have made it so we get to play as Louis and we fight our self until it jumps to the scene of louis backstabbing us...................since pretty much he is the 2nd main characther since he helps us out first, and he has helped fight with us through the whole game

You know what hits harder is, not many revenants can become successors, so say if no one can stop Louis and the crew from frenzying the entire world is dead upon the queen's return. Nothing good comes from this. I'm forcing myself to get this ending. It's painful as hell though.
Played the game for the first time last week, with zero spoilers or any knowledge at all to this game, got this ending and just felt awful afterwards.

I got a neutral ending in my first play through. And now that I watched this, I can truthfully say I will go the extra mile for the good ending instead
I just beat the game recently and got the neutral ending. Halfway through the game I had the feeling there were multiple endings. All of the signs were obvious imo. The thing that confirmed it was the attendant standing outside the elevator leading to the skull king. But wow this bad end isn't what I expected
I kinda wish the game did something like in tales of xillia 2 where when you reach the bad ending you need to fight all of your friends as the final boss. As sad as this ending in I feel that would have really pushed the nail in the coffin on this one making it even sadder.

The completionist in me has been silenced. This ending is far too sad of a fate. I’ll let my character rest now that I’ve completed the middle ending, and just now the good ending.
So in the bad ending, your allies became successors and Louis took your should be place in neutral ending.

I intentionally did this ending since I already saw my brother get the good ending, where he saves all of them, and during my playthrough, I kept Louis as my partner for the whole time. And boy was my heart crushed when I saw Louis stab me in the back like that. I mean I know I did this on purpose, but it hurts so much since he was stayed as my partner till the very end😭😭 I didn't know he was going to do this, all I knew it was a bad ending where maybe I kill every one and the end but damn seeing Louis take my spot and kill me too hurt like a bitch 😭

Louis didn't betray you, he only did what needed to be done and it broke him.
Honestly I'd argue that they did make the bad ending ''better'' than the good ending. The bad ending really feels all intensity of the oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck shit thats happening, and the music they wrote for the bad ending, the King of something something OST was composed perfectly, and they implemented it so well in this cutscene.
I dont feel like that with the music of the good ending. While still great, it was a little too ''cheerful'' or something. While I prefer to see the good ending on all my characters, I cant deny the bad ending feels much more intense and better? crafted.
The bad ending feels more in tone for what you’ve seen throughout the game (and through the Vestiges). Burdens, trauma, inheritance and the inevitable Tragedy that can occur when that legacy is passed on, intentionally or otherwise. The Heirs ending feels like that more pessimistic take on the games themes writ large compared to how the other two endings view it.
Even if I prefer the Neutral/Good Endings, this does have an oomph to it that the other endings don’t quite reach.
So happy I got the true ending on the first try I would have cried seeing this ending

U know the different parts of the Queen u have to retrieve from the chosen ones as they so called them u will see stone figures after u fight the chosen ones long story short activate the stone figures on all the chosen ones to get the true ending the bad ending is if u just walk thru the door without activating the stone figures
Getting all of the endings and gotta say that this ending hurts more right after you finished the true ending.
I think this is actually my favorite ending. I like the tragedy and cyclical feeling. Reminds me of dark souls. It's also by far the most interesting to watch and the music is awesome. I like that our character isn't some super hero and is consumed by the queens power like anyone else would be
I mean its less about being a superhero and more about repeating the same mistakes. You were given the opportunity to save world after years of suffering and made all the wrong decisions. And when our friends frenzy, the red mist falls and that's the end of the world.

@@KDB349 I've always justified it as our MC taking on the burdens of the Successors, refusing to let them live again to a fate of an endless loneliness guarding the Relics. A tragic hero realizing that, for all their intentions, they have become the monster they wanted to stop.
Plus it helps that this ending has the best music. Good ending has so much generic ass cheery droll it almost felt slice-of-life ish lol
This is an awful ending, in that it's depressing as shit, but it's exactly for that reason that it's my favourite ending. Nothing got sorted out, a bad situation got worse and you literally went back to step one. It's the amount of depressing I always want from a Souls-like.
And you get this ending by playing just like the actual dark souls,kill all the bosses without hesitation

At first I thought when I beat this for the first time. I thought the bad ending means being evil. I thought I would turn against my friends. But damn I got stabbed in the back before I get to chance to.
jetertj It gets worse when you realize that unlike the previous successors who had an attendant to ease their burdens, your friends have no one. Without the attendants or a successor that can calm the others your friends will be alone as the slowly lose themselves madness then they’ll eventually lose themselves, escape from their crypts and the Gaol of the Mists will be broken. Once that happens you the new Queen will be reborn and alongside the Horrors of the Great Collapse and the hordes of Lost you will reduce this entire world to ash and all that will be left is the deafening silence of your own isolation.

I just finished my first playthrough (got good ending and true ending)
Then second playthrough is for bad ending.
Third for neutral ending.
Fourth, to get back to the good ending path.
Talk about a bad ending. You let everyone die, you get corrupted and die, and your friends sacrifice themselves to do what you fought so hard to stop. Whole thing just screams "you messed up big time!"
After seeing this ending I abandoned Louis from all battling in my playthroughs. I wanted to become the queen. I wanted that damn big chair.

The worst thing is that the queen will be reborn no matter what happens.There are no more watchers for the relics so nobody knows about them since everyone who knew is either dead or has one of the relics and as we have seen everyone can frenzy which shows that the teams is just delaying the inevitable
it's sad but this ending has the coolest cutscene imo, and the mUSIC. that theme was amazing there (i know its final boss theme but it's great here) i got neutral ending and it's so boring compared to this

The only missed opportunity was of you/player not actually fighting your friends and then proceeding to Le Backstab from Louis. It would make it even cooler.
Also, it'd be a better one for a continuation me thinks. You awakening, and leaving the mist and going out to the World, where something would happen to you and you'd be rescued by GE's, and the Queen in you would Slumber. You would remember all of your friends but not what occured after killing the Virgin Born.
So, you become a GE or you are the first of a new unit, and while you help and protect the world, in the end, the Queen suddenly reawakens and you turn against everyone.
So many possibilities with this ending! :3

This ending was amazing and horrific at the same time! The effect this has on me...is...is...is haunting! I love the hell out of this game! I am in awe with all of the work the developers did and everyone involved. Every moment was a privileged to play and experience! I first played in spring of 2020 and it's already been 3 years! This game is on my top 5 favorite games of all time and it always will be!

I might end up playing the game all over again and start off fresh, but I don't know what ending I'll get yet, but I'll probably still play the game again anyway just for fun I like this game and its anime style.

Got the good ending first try and came to see if there were any others. When I defeated Nicola I was shaking because I thought I wasn’t going to be able to save him, I’m glad I was able to get all fragments 😅
Glad I looked up the bad ending before going ahead and doing it, I’ve already got the other 2, with my first being the neutral ending since I was severly under level on the snowy peaks and just wanted to push through. But I gotta prefer the true ending, though it’s sad that every ending has to either have Io die or sacrifice herself.
3:22 Right there is when its not the PC anymore but Cruz/the Queen now.
Its sad seeing Louis work up the nerve to attack. With Cruz he wasn't able to do it but this time he found the courage to go through. Even if it was a little too easy for my tastes for him to take the PC out. Its real depressing though since the PC was a sign of hope for the group since they could purify the springs and mistles and look into vestiges and now they have to take them out. Then they have to take over for the successors which means they will eventually go crazy too and need to be taken out.
Of course its also so heartbreaking seeing IO just turn to stone like that but at least she's going to be with the PC I think.

I believe in neutral, while we do maintain the Mist, we also go into hybernation in order to adapt to the power received. We are the true Heir. I believe "To Eternity" isn't saying you'll sleep forever, but rather all roads for evolution, to eternity, are open. You must adapt to the power you received before continuing on your journey.
Oh, I still had Jack's chick with me so I guess she's the one I saved which led to me getting the neutral ending, still a rather sad ending though.
Man I really wish they did a better job designing the areas in this game, some of them feels so lackluster and empty it totally ruins the experience. Seeing youtubers do early gameplay of the first area got me so hyped, then when I got to cathedral of the sacred blood all I could think was that this has got to be the worst designed area in any game i've ever played. Even tales of berseria was better in that regard and that game was made by the same company but 3 years earlier... Also they could really do with balancing some of the boss' and their damage output *cough* Mido *cough*.
Also I just found out that Louis might be related to one of the characters in god eater, which means this might be the same universe as the god eater universe, actually that makes a lot of sense because at one point in code vein the red miasma goes away and a really powerful beast attacks, a beast that really looks like the dyaus pita from god eater. I guess that means that in the end the red miasma fades away and they end up having to fight the more powerful beasts that have been constantly evolving since the great collapse.
Yeah, the Cathedral and the Crypt Spire are the worst areas, though I think the rest are at least decent enough.
That was a Dyaus Pita. Code Vein likely takes place a few decades after GE1. Project Queen was started in order to fight the Aragami, except the whole Queen going nuts led to the Revenants getting sealed from the rest of the world. Project Queenslayer supposedly took a few years, then all the backstories happen, Mido does his thing and then this game happens. A few years after the True Ending, the main group ventures out to the rest of the world, and probably meet up with the God Eater organizations.
Lore is fun.
First i got the neutral ending.
Then i got the good ending.
And for this bad ending playthrough i did the entrie run solo with no partner, felt thematically correct since there was no power of friendship to save the day

On my first playthrough with a female MC I got the normal ending because I failed to save Emily. I wasn't aware there were multiple endings and I assumed Emily's death was something that was supposed to happen, but I was wrong. I found out about the other endings after getting the achievement, and once I found out that I could save Emily and get a happier conclusion I replayed the game with a male MC and succeeded in getting the better ending and I'm very happy about it. Now I'm contemplating whether or not to play the game again and get the bad ending only for the sake of getting an achievement, but I really like the story and characters and don't want them to be miserable so I decided to watch the ending on TH-cam. AND IT'S A GOOD THING I DID cause this is just too sad. Louis crying is DESTROYING ME, IT'S TOO MUCH!!! Code Vein is one of my favorite SoulBorne-like games and it's game I'm going to keep playing for years to come.🧐😢😭😊

Dispite it being called weeb souls and the some of beginnings story crap we can make fun of in the game. This game manages to be deeply endearing and pull on the heartstrings. Given the fact you give it a chance for what it is and not on the surface level.
I know I should not be watching this, because it's a spoiler but I was curious because I really don't want my character to get the bad ending. so, I decided to watch this to make sure I know what's going on, even though I still have to beat the gilded hunter bruh.
honestly, at the very least this had potential to have a good cutscene. instead you kinda just... stand there. menacingly. then die. like, even the fight against cruz was better, atleast she fought back. cmon. still, really depressing.

I'd say that at this point the Queen is still waking up, so you're "defenseless" and Louis has a chance to take you down before the Queen is fully active.

Wow now this is what a dogshit ending would look like lol never expected it to be this bad yikes ! The saddest part to me I think was seeing all the characters sitting where you're supposed to fight then save their loved ones as boss fights. Very sad indeed.
Now about the Attendants I tried to do restore as many of the vestiges as I could but tbh I don't have the will to just spend extra time trying to find that 1 or 2 missing ones and in the last map idk why but there're a few Attendants who simply remain silent until you find one before you take the elevator towards the last boss, the only one you can talk to and restore vestiges.
Still I didn't get this ending even though I missed a couple of vestiges, from what I hear you get it if you leave the door and don't restore the successors' memories but I believe you'd have to sacrifice them all. One thing kinda pissed me is that I didn't get the option to save the kid in the snow level, seems you have to collect every fking vestige related to him before doing the fight? Like hell how am I supposed to know that and then they give you no option to go back since you can only have 1 save 😒.

Eagle Nebula I thought one would figure it out. Though it is a bit tough, but the first successor is always a freebie I think. Which is a hint, collecting their vestiges or viewing all their memories restores them, since it should give you the option to do so. Though it’s understandable that some players might think you only need a few, I just didn’t wanna risk missing it and kinda wanted a new blood code for better gifts to have an easier time on later levels. Well, it’s always good to get the bad ending or neutral ending first so you can at least see what happens and try and understand what you missed to get it. Plus new game +, usually the first ng+ is easy. Then gets harder as you reach higher ng+’s.
Kinda glad I shot for the neutral ending now after I realized that I messed up and couldn't get the good ending.

Here's how I think the endings work:
-Bad ending: You take all relics for yourself, which then overpower you, frenzying you;
-Good ending: You put your purpose in jeopardy when you didn't take all relics, inspiring Io to take the lead. Being a construct rather than a true Revenant, her mutation is affected differently by the Relics. Although, I find everyone returning to normal incredibly unrealistic. If they turned to trees too, but created replicas, I could buy it. That doesn't happen, it's too Disney like;
-Neutral: You did not take every relic, so you didn't frenzie. However, your body still couldn't handle it, so you fell commatose. All you can do now is hope one day you'll wake up with the necessary strength to save who's left.
