When they first told us that the red mist was to protect humanity from revenants, it made a good amount of sense. But when Mido revealed that it was actually to keep the aragami out, it felt wrong. They had turned their backs on the rest of the world and left everyone else to die. They even said that people were begging for their help. I can understand wanting to protect the revenants by any means necessary, but that doesn’t justify ignoring the suffering of everyone else. Maybe now they can let humans into their world. If Lost can be killed with conventional weaponry, then it would be a preferable place for humans to live. They might even be able to make Vein more livable and peaceful
Uh, I'm pretty sure it was also to keep the Queen in. Also, why would you believe Miso, guy is a jackass who experiments in children in order to evolve humanity.
It was actually to protect the people outside from the combined threat of thirsty Revenants, Lost, and the Aragami. Could you imagine the hell that would have been unleashed on an already hopeless situation? Aragami devouring everything in their path and now vampires plus zombie vampires attacking as well? Besides I'm almost certain that the blood buffet outside would have thrown the more covetous revenants into a blood frenzy creating even more Lost......... Then to top it all off the Queen is resurrected because Mido's a freakin idiot.....

It's the motivation behind his fucked up actions he truly believed that this was the way to save humanity and so anyone that dies in the process was just "the price of progress" he was so sure he was right he honestly thought you guys would join his cause
@@vinushka7036 you get the ending if you find all the blood codes I do believe and manage to save all of the bosses. The good ending is achieved if you manage to save one of the bosses aureo or whatever her name is by find all her blood codes before fighting her. If you don't you get the bad ending where you become the new queen and go into a frenzy mode and get killed.
I love how uplifting and wholesome the ending is. Dark souls is so depressing and grim dark but this does really make you feel like you made a huge difference and brought revenants and humans together. Can't wait to see more conflict and tension from that being confronted in Code Vein 2

Honestly a sequal to this game, seeing how it ended might be a little weird as its probably just going to feel like a God Eater game lol. Probably keep the same style of gameplay/combat, but the things well be fighting are Aragami.

I was convinced I had the best ending until the last two seconds when the character turned and called her name. I missed 2 vestiges, I think, which is funny because I thought i picked up all of hers after hearing where they all are. Luckily I can revert to before the boss and hunt for them, though two seconds worth of extra scene isn't much... Gives a hopeful perspective on things though, even if it's been years since that time. Hard to think they've been couped up in the base that long.
I think i heard that Code Vein is set in a different universe. One where the researvh into the oracle cells brought forth the revanents and the lost and not the god eater protocol
I just finished the game and I wanted to see other endings. When I saw the bad and neutral ending, I felt a little sad. However, how nice it is to realize that I like a true perfectionist: cleared all the locations for 100%, completed all the quests, found all the secrets and came back many times so as not to miss anything. Briefly about my first solo playthrough: I collected all the memory fragments, restored all the bosses, shared my memories with Io and reached the real good 4 ending the first time! P.S: When will Code Vein 2 be released?
I first thought Io's cloak was you having modded it but quickly recalled that it's her clothes that are white XD Here's hoping clipping is not horrendous in the sequel.
Ngl,I got this ending first playthrough. Ending make me cry,Plus,I made my character look like nerd with heart of gold type. @@GamerWelfare Yeah I can see that, this was my first time playing a Souls-like RPG so I decided to use a companion just so I could enjoy the story my first playthrough and not have to stress about dying over and over again. But to be honest, it was quite easy, so I think my future play through's will definitely be solo.

I got the Neutral ending, and on my second playthrough, the moment i reached Cathedral of Blood i just......... unnistalled.... That place isn't hard, it's just.... and gigantic annoyingly awfull design, with a beautifull asthetic...
That would be great if we got a Code Vein 2 or an anime that takes place in the first game and later on after the end of the game it'll show what happens and then afterwards get a season 2 for it to take place after the first game

Good ending is unrealistic. You put your purpose in jeopardy when you didn't take all relics, inspiring Io to take the lead. Being a construct rather than a true Revenant, her mutation is affected differently by the Relics. That part I can buy. But I find everyone returning to normal incredibly unrealistic. If they turned to trees too, but created replicas, I could buy it. That doesn't happen, it's too Disney like. Here's how I think the endings work: -Bad ending: You take all relics for yourself, which then overpower you, frenzying you; -Good ending: You put your purpose in jeopardy when you didn't take all relics, inspiring Io to take the lead. Personally I didn't use companions in the game. I preferred to play it solo to make it more challenging.

If you talk to them separately before leaving they both vowed to protect Io's grounds from anyone to want to cause harm to her and the red mist.
