Great Tutorial! Even relevant in 2024! Thanks
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching.
I don’t even have one of these, but was trying to determine if I needed it. Your video was very informative, and because you edited it so well and are so entertaining, I actually watched it to the end instead of getting bored and leaving.
Well thank you so much, glad you liked it enough to watch all the way through. Thank you for watching.
Great video. Straight forward and right to the point!!
I just need some practice, thanks for making this video mate
It does take a little practice to get good at it. Not as easy as they make it. Thanks for watching.

Great to hear, I was thinking this was a piece of crap tool when I first got it but once I learned how to use it I love. Thanks for watching.
Thank you! I just bought one of these and you answered all of my questions about it.
Glad I could help! Hope all goes well with your project. Thanks for watching
Much appreciated for the video! Great information and great editing to speed things up and give the information! Like others, answered all my questions with this new product of mine! Now to tackle a large house project....

Ty, yesterday i was having difficulty with tape coming out from the platic, it was so frustrating haha, but now i think i know why it wss happening. I will give it another try lol
Your welcome, and yes it does piss you off just a bit when that keeps happening. Good luck and stick with it. Thanks for watching.
I saw the same video as you with the guy using a paint tool or razor knife to cut the plastic & each piece of masking tape, and it was taking way too long. Having owned a body shop some years ago I had a paper masking rack on wheels that used the same methods to "cut" the tape & paper / plastic. As you said, it's so much easier to use the machine for the plastic / paper & your fingers for the tape itself. You're overlapping the tape in each step so there's no need to have perfect cuts. Nicely explained sir.
Glad you liked the video and thanks for watching.
Well done, thanks.
Glad you liked it. Thank you for watching.
Awesome tips!
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching.
Why is your black spring still rubberbanded to your handle? You called it a pocket or belt loop??
Superb review.👍🏻
Glad you liked it
This is an outstanding video. Very helpful. Question: When do you use paper and when plastic?
Thank you very much. Glad you liked it. I typically use plastic over the window and paper when I don't need or don't have a large area to cover. Like on trim. Thanks for watching.
Thanks - the opening scene was me (with some extra swear words) - thanks for the tips
LOL, glad it helped.
Best video
Thank you and glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
Nice video.
thank you, glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
Nice video
Thanks, glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
When you say paper or plastic, I have flashbacks to my grocery bagger first job. I ended up quitting the job because asking paper or plastic was demeaning.
My problem is the tape is not coming off mine like it is yours in the video. Especially the plastic. The tape wants to catch the very edge of the plastic. I see your has an endcap for the opposite end. Is that the ticket? Also, whether using plastic or paper, the tape get creased when coming off the masker. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
It could be the angle that you are holding the masker when you use it. If too steep it will crease the tape. Thanks for watching.
@@OakleysDIYHomeRenovation101 seems like if I don't hold it at that angle, the tape will ride off the end of the roll.
If I don't hold it at that angle then the tape want to come off the end of the plastic.

Thank you. Ordered online from big box store (HD). Didn’t know the blade was sold separately. That was a 2 hour round trip.
$55 for the dispenser. $28 for the blade. 😢 $8 for tape.
Darn hard to enjoy DIY…
Wow it was $83 for the whole thing? I know that is probably twice what I paid for mine back when I got it. Glad the video helped. Thanks for watching.
the issue is the masker works better without the guard😂
Tool not that easy to use, but very helpful. I only got 2 cuts from the blade. LOL. do no hold it between your legs while you are smoothing things out, especially in shorts. Ouchy
lol yep only do that once. Thanks for watching.
can you get away with reusing pieces?
You gonna paint wearing them black clothes....?
Thank you for the video. You sound a lot like Joe Biden. Thanks!
