This is what differentiates Angelina from other singers, it's always about the song, not about her. Listen at the end, she cuts off her belt in such a classy way. SHe could have added several more seconds if she wanted to show off. And the signature jazz run was superbly hers. Such a gorgeous performance.
This reminds me of her performance of " Natural Woman". Not in style so much as in attitude. Reverent.
I, personaly love, that she took her japanese Grandfather´s words to heart and stands true to herself. Being presented as "the international star" Angelina Jordan all the way from LA points in the direction of her breakthough on the music market.
We will see this truely international star develop further, and as many producers and vocalists pointed out, she will be a GOAT. I dream of meeting her in this lifetime, but I don´t know what the good Lord has planned for me.

Remember that little girl with the missing teeth and that crazy wild hair? She's become one of the most (if not THE most) beautiful, elegant, and classy singers on Earth.
Angelina has a long history with this song, first sung on tv when she released her book about her bare feet. Obviously the song has special significance to her and here the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to an Iranian human rights activist jailed in Iran. It is being presented to her childran who are about Angelina's age. Think of the significance of this song to that family.
Actually she first sung it at 8 with Igil Clausen playing guitar, and it looks as if it was filmed in her house. Next was the performance you mentioned on the TV show "Lindmo" on Nov.14, 2015 at 9 years of age. She sang it at the end of her interview about her book and had a piano backing her. The third time was at 11, again at home with what appears to be a backing track. This performance at the NPP is the last of 3 this year that I know of. On June 7 she posted on IG a snippet from a performance that she has released no info about and I have found nothing concerning it. Then she did her now famous slowed down version at her Portsmouth concert Sept. 22, and now this amazing performance! Every time has been similar, but in typical Angelina fashion very different! And each has seemed to much better than the last!
Actually to be precise Angelina performed unchained melody " before the interview with Ann lindmo " although most reactors choose to show it after .

She's the youngest person ever to do the noble peace event twice. Amazing.
This was her own arrangement of the song and had sunket with K O R K Orchestra before so they agreement to play her arrangement it was a tribute to Nores Mohammadi Who is in prisen in Iran and granne Mery was born there so she did her family proud.Angelina also sang at 8 yrs old Nobel Peace Prize so is the only talent to have sung twice and still only 17yrs old.Phenomenal❤
The orchestral arrangement is by Helge Sunde (Norwegian composer/arranger with a connection to KORK) but Angelina must have chosen the key (as she is both in her bottom and top registers during the song).

Great reaction again guys, I loved your intro for this one! Reportedly Angelina is the only artist under 18 to be invited twice to perform at the Nobel Prize. She has performed this song several times throughout her career. Each version is worth watching!
Nope, Norwegian superband A-HA has performed 3 times (1998, 2001 and 2015) + the voclaist of A-HA, Morten Harket has performed solo in 2007.
Others have also performed more than once. Another reactor said that she is the first under 18 to perform 2 times. Now that may be the case. And being only 17, she may be asked to perform a few more times before her career is done,

Not sure if you guys are aware but Angelina was one of 21 young women, ages 16-21, from around the world to be invited to this years Le Bal (debutant ball) in Paris on November 25. She has posts about it on Instagram and TikTok. At the ball she performed Can’t Help Falling In Love
And she just made her first appearance on the cover of a major magazine, GALA Greece, with a photo taken at Le Bal
I thought it would be great to have a feature on her in Seventeen magazine.

On February 29 Angelina will perform two concerts in the same Las Vegas casino where Elvis oerformed his 636 shows in residence. Oh, i wish i did't have a work conflict. There are photis on Angelina's social media of her with Priscilla when the Elvis movie was released.

I love, love your Reactions. Also, she was singing this songs in front of the children of the Nobel Peace Price laureate Narges Mohammadi who could not attend because she in in Prison in Iran for speaking for Women’s Rights and Equality and is currently undergoing a hunger strike in that prison. The Lyrics speak of the Love of Family she prays for. I hear Angelina sing this and I can feel Narges Mohammadi speaking to her children thru Angelina. Sounds weird Ha? Sorry, but the music and the voice transported me into this personal story between the mother and her children. It was an Honor to hear this happening. Angelina made it so.
She sang this song especially for the iranian mother, who was put into jail, because she wanted equal rights for everyone. Her childrend received the Peace Prize in her name. I saw, that Angelina and KORK tried other songs in rehearsal, but THIS is the perfect song for this occassion.

Thanks for your reaction Mike and Jess. Angelina inspires me to do what I can to help make the world a better place, so I am asking my fellow angels to spread the story of Narges Mohammadi. The more people who are aware and call for change, the more likely the leaders of Iran will set her free. Acts of kindness, is what Angelina always reminds us to do. We angels, need to honor Angelina by doing what we can to be kind to others. The smallest acts of kindness can make a difference.
Angelina Jordan, with her long time friends in KORK behind her, sang this version to the four members of the Mohammadi family, Narges (imprisoned in Iran), her twins (boy & girl), her husband (with twins in France). She sang it like a lullaby---she sang the pain of Narges and each family member longing for each other. It is so delicate and beautifully restrained, but tells the emotional story. I weep every time. She sings this song differently every time, and this was so tailored to this event and its profound significance. Plus Angelina's grandma Mery is Iranian. So.... But the emotions, knowing who she is singing to, just fill me. I love the "wings" on her dress, don't you? Every time I hear the KORK Orchestra begin playing, I feel a surge of emotion because I know what is coming next: the most amazing rendition of Unchained Melody by the incomparable Angelina Jordan. At only 17 and now already being asked to perform at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony twice in her life is really incredible when you think about..
With her grandmother being from Iran (making Angelina 1/4 Persian) and the recipient being an Iranian woman who is currently in prison for being an activist for equal rights, this appearance must be very emotional and personal for Angelina and her family.
Also the song is originally from the 1955 prison film Unchained. In the movie a prisoner is missing his loved one and the song says “I’ll be coming home. Wait for me”. The song choice therefore is very fitting for the occasion. The recipient’s children received the award in their mother’s behalf
Certainly Angelina was thrilled to be performing back in her home country of Norway, where she is a national treasure, but this performance goes way beyond that honor. She first performed at the Save the Children event at the 2014 Peace Prize event, when she was 8 years old.
Narges Mohammadi was this years' recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. Narges, is currently on a hunger strike while imprisoned in Iran, for being an activist for women's rights. Her two children spoke on her behalf at this event. Most of the performers were Iranian.
We know Angelina's grandmother, Mery Zamani, grew up in Iran and was a prodigy for painting and poetry. We can imagine the conversations Mery had with Angelina about Narges. This performance had to be extremely meaningful to Angelina and her family. I hope all the angels will spread the story of Narges and her mission, with the hope for change.
In 1954, Alex North was contracted to compose the score for the prison film Unchained (released in 1955). North had a melody he had written in the 1930s and composed and recorded the score when he was asked to write a song based upon the movie's theme. North asked Hy Zaret to write the lyrics. After first refusing, Zaret and North together wrote "Unchained Melody. Zaret refused the producer's request to include the word "unchained" in his lyrics. The song eventually became known as the "Unchained Melody" even though the song does not actually include the word "unchained". Instead, Zaret chose to focus on someone who pines for a lover he has not seen in a "long, lonely time".

This is the second time shes performed at a Nobel event. She stated this was her dream at 7. Shes achieved it twice.

Angelina has sung this song several times, most recently at her concert in Portsmouth, NH several months ago. I was fortunate enough to be sitting in the sixth row at that concert and was mesmerized by her performance of this classic song. It was the highlight of the night. This version is different in that she is performing with a full orchestra at a very serious and meaningful tribute to the Nobel Peace Prize winner. Angelina, as she always does, rose to the occasion with a performance for the ages. She is one of a kind in so many ways and in my opinion is one of the most gifted vocalists in the world today.

I was moved to see and hear Angelina singing in such an incredibly mature and charming way, this wonderful version of a fantastic song and so appropriate to the occasion, 8 years after the last time, in the same studios and with some of the musicians who accompanied her as a child, when she took her first steps into her musical future. You mentioned Big Angie Fan. He and his wife went to Angelina’s concert in Portsmouth in September. They actually ran into Angelina, her mom Sara and Uncle Mike at the airport in Los Angeles. He had brought her book with him just in case he had a chance to meet her. Angelina signed the book and they took pictures. His wife recorded the meet up and he posted it on his channel. It was like a kid meeting their idol but it was someone who could be his granddaughter.

Friends, I have a creeping suspicion of who wanted her to sing there, beside herself. There is a man named Haakon and his family, who are BIG admirers of her, they are also friends with her and her family. The Gentleman is his Royal Highness Crownprince Haakon of Norway and his wife and kids. They were seen on stage in her first performance at age 8 at the Nobel Peace Price in 2014.
The Royal family is the host of the NOBEL Prize Ceremonies. Peace to you and yours as always.

Charity she donated the 80,000 dollars she won on Norway’s Got Talent
Angelina Jordan won Norway’s Got Talent at the age of 8 in 2014, the prize for winning was eighty thousand dollars, this money was donated to children’s charities. At age 8 her first charity performance was in Germany to raise money for heart disease. Again, at age 8 she does a telethon for Plan International Children’s Charity. Still at age 8 she performs for Norwegian Sea Rescue Society Charity. On the 12th of Dec still at age 8, she performs at Save The Child Nobel Peace Prize, 4 days later, even though she has a very bad cold, she performs for the Swedish Heroes Foundation against her doctor's orders. At age 10 she performed for the Norwegian Refugee Council Charity. Also age 10 she performed in Seoul in South Korea for Rotary International to raise money for children’s vaccinations. Angelina Jordan comes from a very wealthy family and does need the money, she, and her family want to share her wonderful talent with the world. This is what makes AJ and her family so very special. How can you possibly even try to describe her ENORMOUS ..TALENT........ At 17, Angelina has yet again turned this iconic song into a reborn classic. Her presence is stunning. The...lighting, camera work, sound mix, and musicianship are all of the highest order... The result.....another remarkable tour de force.
When Angelina departs from the recorded versions of this song, which we normally hear, and goes really high at the end, she’s doing it the way Bobby Hatfield of the Righteous Brothers did it in a live performance on the Andy Williams Show. I’m not aware of him doing it that way at any other time. That performance is on TH-cam. You should check it out, then you’ll understand what she’s doing there. And to hear Bobby hit those notes that a man shouldn’t be able to is just so worth it.

Just a note about your observation regarding the Presleys. Angelina met Priscilla about a year ago and they became friends. Angelina has a retro style and has an affinity for the period of the 1960s. Her EP, Old Enough, has a '60s vibe. You will also notice that in the videos on the EP and on the cover, Angelina takes influence from Priscilla in regard to her appearance. In her cover of Suspicious Minds, she wears the black leather outfit that Elvis wore on his comeback special. She also has the Priscilla hair and the red guitar. All of it is a tribute to what apparently has been a great influence on Angelina. This performance was truly a treat and demonstrates once again the incredible versatility of Angelina Jordan. Angelina's Persian (Iranian) heritage shines through in this performance (Grandma Mery is Iranian). The fact the Nobel Prize was being awarded to Narges Mohammadi imprisoned in Iran for her stance on women's rights and human rights, Angelina was the perfect choice to perform here (once again) in her home country. Such Class and Eloquence exudes from this young lady. Very happy you put this up so quickly guys, she deserves the recognition. She has done this song several times over her career but this one right here is the "creme de la creme of all of them in my opinion...this one gets you in the feels. I'm sure it was the Oslo Philharmonic orchestra that played at that very special ceremony. Kork was a military band I think, that played with Angelina when she was a kid. Look it up, but I'm sure I'm right.
It was kork ( Norwegian radio orchestra ) in this video , Angelina has worked with them before " back to black " " summertime " for example . the military band are " forsvarets stabsmusikkorps " the norwegian military staff band . who angelina has also worked with for the album " it's magic " november 2017 aged 11 ." It's a man's world " etc . and performed the whole album live in concert aged 12 .

So I assumed it was The Royal Norwegian or the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra playing at the ceremony in Norway. Last year it was the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra that played the ceremoni. Can't find answers online for this year..

Y’all need to watch her sing this at age 9. She has sung it at concerts, most recently at Portsmouth, and everyone there thought it was her best song of the night. However, I loved this rendition the best. You didn’t mention the little tiara-like hairpiece. Love her hair pulled away from her face so you can see her beautiful features. Lastly, this was the second time she has performed for the Nobel Peace Prize recipient. She was eight years old. It’s being said that she is the only person to have performed twice thus far. I've never liked a version of this song from her better than this. Something hit hard. She didn't change up a lot, just the timing a bit as ever, and I guess she was really feeling it in a way that messed me up real good. It was so beautiful, and just like her "summertime" with KORK, man they are magical with her and playing softly. Magic, all of it. 😊
