Yes this version is more restrained, due to the more solemn nature of the tribute to Narges who is currently imprisoned in Iran. Her two children were in the audience. Angelina always seems to know exactly what the song requires, no matter what environment she is in.

Angelina inspires me to do what I can to help make the world a better place, so I am asking all angels and others to spread the story of Narges Mohammadi. Angelina just performed at the Nobel Peace prize ceremony in Oslo Norway. She paid tribute to Narges, who is currently on a hunger strike while imprisoned in Iran, for being an activist for women's rights. Her two twin children, who are 17, spoke on her behalf at this event. The more people who are aware and call for change, the more likely the leaders of Iran will set her free. Acts of kindness, is what Angelina always reminds us to do. We angels, need to honor Angelina by doing what we can to be kind to others. The smallest acts of kindness can make a difference.
Angelina Is now an Official International Debutant at the LeBal in Paris, France. 2023. And they also stated they are very proud of Angelina’s Performance at the Nobel Peace Price Ceremony on Oslo, Norway, just a few days ago.
She has performed this many times since she was eight, but this time she takes on a special version, reverent, to honor Narges and her children. This one is the love of a mother for her family.
Just a perfect blend...a full KORK orchestra and Angelina's voice...resonance has come to every note of this performance!

There are no words that can fairly describe how beautiful this was, nor to describe the elegantly lovely a young lady that is Angelina and this amazing performance. Lord knows I try.
Narges Mohammadi was this years' recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. Narges, is currently on a hunger strike while imprisoned in Iran, for being an activist for women's rights. Her two children spoke on her behalf at this event. Most of the performers were in fact Iranian.
We know Angelina's grandmother, Mery Zamani, grew up in Iran and was a prodigy for painting and poetry. We can imagine the conversations Mery had with Angelina about Narges. This performance had to be extremely meaningful to Angelina and her family. I hope all the angels will spread the story of Narges and her mission, with the hope for change, and most especially, her release.

I'm sure if Bobby Hadfield has heard it in the 'far beyond', he would have shed a
tear as I did. The impetus for it is, of course, a brave woman who is languishing
in an Iranian jail for simply spouting the truth. It is fitting that she was awarded
the Nobel Peace Prize for 2023 and our prayers go out to Narges Mohammandi
for a quick release by the Iranian Government.
It will be the force of Ms. Jordan's persona and message, as well as her passion and dedication to her artistry, that will make Ms. Angelina Jordan's name synonymous with greatness. Rb

Angelina's performance was contained as you say out of respect for the occasion and Peace Prize laureate, Narges Mohammadi, an Iranian woman who is in prison for fighting for women's rights in her country. Also her twin daughter and son and her husband were present at the performance.
All the emotion and care she transmitted in the song were just sublime and so appropriate. She transformed the song almost to a prayer for Narges to be "unchained", freed.
Also, just so you know, her grandmother Mery is Iranian.
She really makes us feel the longing! As the children of the prize winner must feel for their mother, and vice a versa...😢
Angelina sings the song in a way that it fit the occasion. That's why she is more contained.

She brings such depth and emotion to this song that it takes your breath away. I don't think you can sing this song better than Angelina, and she's so beautiful that she looks like a Greek goddess

Por supuesto fue una presentación más contenida, acorde al emotivo momento de esa ceremonia, no olvides que la ganadora del Premio Nobel está presa en Irán por el solo hecho de defender los derechos de la mujer. Estaban presentes sus dos hijas en la ceremonia para recibir el galardón en representación de su madre.

I was moved to see and hear Angelina singing in such an incredibly mature and charming way, this wonderful version of a fantastic song and so appropriate to the occasion, 8 years after the last time, in the same studios and with some of the musicians who accompanied her as a child, when she took her first steps into her musical future. Here Angelina was simply fantastic and "unchained", a singer who has already sung on 2 different occasions at the Nobel Prizes and at just 17 years old.💛🧡❤

The only thing wrong with this performance is they didn’t give Angelina enough time to sing the complete song. If you notice, she didn’t sing the complete 2nd verse, leaving out “And time goes by so slowly…” before singing “I need your love…”. Still, it was a magnificent performance by this goddess of music of one of the most beautiful songs ever written!
