Thats good and bad!! I fly frequently to Reno/Tahoe and LAX to visit my kidds or the reverse to fly them home! I typically use JetBlue as I opened that card years ago for the free bags on every flight. Plus- it seems to be the only nonstop from JFK. Before this hobby I was actually Mosaic as I used that card for everything. Fortunately- I know know better and I never use that card unless I am buying food on my flight for the 50% discount. Thanks for all your knowledge!

I'd start with one airline at a time. DFW is the biggest AA hub, so that might be the best place to start for learning the different routes and transfer options.

I am so grateful for all the content you create! For this one I was wondering, I have a Delta SkyMiles AMEX card and it automatically turns the points into SkyMiles would I be able to use that on Virgin Atlantic? Is there a way to convert it or just use them there?

The turkish airline booking united does not work as described. I looked at many different routes on United website that had the saver award emblem but then I go to TA star award ticket booker and it says no suitable flights. I am doing one way also.

Except is 10,000 Turkish miles? Also can you book with virgin Atlantic on delta flights to Cancun with the same process you outlined above? Thanks again for this video. Woohoo! Can't beat those Hawaiian flights for 7500 points each! Yes, same process but different points price for Cancun. Most of the processes to locations outside of the US work exactly the same, just with different points prices (the Virgin Atlantic/ Delta trick works especially well when traveling to Europe).
BILT is a rewards program that lets you earn points by paying rent, dining out at partnered restaurants, and lots of other day-to-day activities. here's an episode with more info on it: th-cam.com/video/ki7OzfMVCjI/w-d-xo.html
If the AA flight shows up with partner airlines like British Airways or Qantas, there's a good chance it is available on Etihad too, but it's always best to call Etihad and confirm before moving points over.

I'm not sure if it's a routing map issue or something, but for east coast people I'd recommend Turkish over Singapore to save miles.
