why when I go to avios does it say that I just joined British Air and the partnership is ONEWORLD not avios. My guess is avios is really the name of BA's points program and the real airline group is ONEWORLD.

I tried checking the Air France/Flying Blue method as recommended (one-way, no date, LAX - and NYC - to AMS and while calendar came up (see 1:51), it was empty....nothing populated with points at any time. Suggestions?

So just to understand the tip to find avios awards is finding AA availability first?

The recent problem with Life Miles is that it is forcing me to buy the Buisness Class ticket with Cash and Miles which increases the price significantly. Let me give you an example: As of today Mexico City to Frankfurt on January 21st. appears as available for 70k miles in LH, jhowever when I try to buy it forces me to buy with Cash and Miles for 50k miles plus 700 USD, what makes it very expensive even if the miles are cheap. Ther is no way to use the original 70k plus reasonable cash. I find Life and Miles very cheaty and devalued.

Instead of buying Hilton points my preference is the Hilton timeshare promotions. Sometimes you can get a 3 night stay plus 75,000 to 100,000 pts for 199. When Hilton has a 100% off points sale you can only get 100k for $500. So with the timeshare promotion you still have money left over some dinner!

I get more value from your videos than any other TH-cam points credit card channels. You have a great product

Recent trip United delivered my luggage 3 1/2 days after I arrived. Use the chat to communicate with them. They compensated me with $100 E credit.

I feel the same way about shopping portals- a little here and a little there adds up!
