Hi Andrew. Its good to see someone looking after their harvester. Next weeks video deserves to be filmed in Ladavision with your brother in charge of the camera!😎
Nice video, grass looks well fit a decent cut. We run all masseys. After changing those pto twice we changed all the 1000 pto implements ends to 540 ends so never change tractor ends. 👍
Gear oil on the drive shaft is very important. When the harvester is under load and going into hollow's and corning the shaft doesn't slide on the telescopic and does cause the tubing to grip pulling the shaft up the drawbar and the shaft out off the backend of the tractor.
Go steady undoing the 8s pto bolts with an impact, over time they weaken and if they snap it’s a hell of a job to sort. I find it’s better to use a ratchet personally. Just put a extension bar in the stop so the PTO doesn’t turn
JF harvester is quite good but the pick-up tines are pure shite. I've never had to replace a tine on the self propelled and they're under far more stress.

I had asked, he has agreed. 🤣
The epic live silage video sounds great, but also like a whole hell of work 😂
I know, I might get someone to come film for me. 😅
another great video cant wait to see the silage vid
Looking forward to silage video Andrew . Good content as always keep up the good work
Thanks 👍

Thaught everyone did this 😂😂
I would have to change all to 21 spline, the JF takes a monster to shaft!
Great Video, Impressive preparation system, looking forward to watching you getting the grass in!

Good advice!
Good man.himself happy.third cut silage
I think I heard some "FT News" talk in there 😆 great Video as always
You did. 😅
Great video 👍
Good video thanks
Nothing is ever easy..always a problem😀…and as you sort this problem, another is lining up…as inevitable as death😬
Your first fix is the number plate on the Case.
Yes, I must do that. 😅

Definitely the case, seen it with a 7726. Ratchet and a wee bolt to stop it twisting
I think I might change the tanker to a 21 spline, it's the only other thing on the 8s with a pto
Good job Andrew. I enjoy the videos. 👍🇺🇸🇮🇪
Glad you like them!
Is that a Suzuki Jimmy you have?
It is indeed!
Why are seed heads bad for silage when harvesting?
Because the quality of the grass get worse
The energy gets put into the seeds which cows cant digest
