Probably cause the way the Biometals work normally breaks the flow of the combos. If you could switch them faster with the help of dedicated inputs like the special weapons in MM11, it would have lead to smoother ability switching combos. Bonus points if you could maintain a charge in-between forms.
I honestly wish there was a sort of sandbox mode in the Zero/ZX games (or at least the collection) where you could just go wild with combos. Unfortuntely it would be really boring for Z2 since that game has the least combo-game potential

@@nexusetmiaouss It's not infinite. The move can hit 128 times which is why I ended it at priority 207. As explained by the caption before that clip, I just wanted to show all possible hits allowed by the priority system and used hacks to make landing all those hits actually possible. I'll explain a little more when I can update the description later today

Hotswapping biometals really should've been a thing in these games.
One of the definite improvements of Advent. They had much better ideas for the subscreen than ZX1
