- It's finally here! Every hard mode main boss fight using only Model PX with level 4 victory (no hitting their weakspot) and no damage. Been working toward this for a while so hope you enjoy! Links to specific boss times below:

Well, I guess both of them are underrated.
I think the F one is the most underrated I literally used it 2 times in all my gameplay.
@@jplayer6212 To be honest, I like using model F especially the buster edit function. And in advent, it is more useful if using Ashe since her bombs have more utility.
@@ventusse Its the fastest way to beat the first phase of the final boss as Grey though, so I'm hard pressed to say its more useful for Ashe than Grey.
@@TotallyCluelessGamer I think for the general gameplay, Ashe is a little bit better than Grey. Though I would admit, Grey's model H, model L, and model ZX is better than Ashe's.
And people say Model P is useless.

Basically any biometal combo if Overdrive is used correctly
model x is the best biometal because double buster total damage
Model X may be the easiest to use but its damage is very much outclassed by ZX with some spins/combos, HX and even PX with overdrive/combos, and LX/FX with their elemental weaknesses
It can't hit Serpent 2 's second phase tho

After watching this, It seems that the nerf hammer hit Model P harder than Model H in ZX Advent.
I always already had a few ideas for improvement to PX, but I just started ZX Advent the other day for the first time and frankly I am a bit.. horrified by what they've done to model P hahaha
@@Meta_XZ After watching you, I tried to "no damage" some bosses with Model P... don't even need to say how painful is to deal with aerial bosses. Ground bosses are ok, I guess.
Only Model H, ZX and A can deal damage consistently. ZX is so OP that I don't have fun using it, fortunately Model H is more balanced. Even though I miss Brokenado :p
Now I am curious how you'll deal woth the nerf. Losing Overdrive is not had but with The Shuriken being a Grey exclusive I wonder how you'll assassinate bosses with Ashe. Wish Ashe got the Shuriken instewd hahaha.
@@HajimotoSaito Model P is just so bad I don't think I'll be making any cool videos with it anytime soon. The loss of overdrive is pretty bad and even with Grey having the shuriken, in ZXA it takes so long to charge (lvl2 instead of lvl1) that it's too slow to even combo into it from the kunai. And Ashe's shield would be pretty neat if the orbitals combod into each other cause you would still be able to combo them with kunai, but, the first orbital deals its tiny damage then triggers s lol. It's really depressing... I even used action replay codes to make it so I can actually combo kunai into shuriken but even then it's just not as interesting without overdrive, shield, and shadow dash

Simply amazing. Didn't know Model P could be used to get Lv4 victories that well, I honestly expected it to take longer. Also, how come you didn't include Omega in the video? I'd love to see model P take on the messiah boy and shred him lol
When I made this I completely forgot about Omega and the MMZ bosses lol. But to be honest, PX vs Omega isn't very interesting anyway since there's not a lot you can do besides camp him out with occasional combos
When i was i kid this model was my favorite,i could beat omega only with that lol

A funny fact about my experience with SB(Shield Boomerang) and Model P is that the first time I got to play them, I already thought they were great and very fun (and that was before I learned about the SB/Shuriken loop). For SB, the mere fact it can block projectiles (as you expect of a shield lol) already made it very used by me, plus the good range of the shield arc. As for Model P, I just thought flooding the screen with 101 kunais was very amusing, despite having trouble with aerial enemies

I'm still don't know the shield that PX have when max charge and cling on a wall can do,i did a 90% played before and i still don't know what it can do
The shield absorbs the basic yellow energy shot that most enemies fire

Yeah it's not the best, the only other thing I know it absorbs are the purple things that Serpent 2 shoots to slow you down

Excellent video, also do you have any tip on how to avoid hitting their weak points, whenever i use Model P vs a boss almost seems like my shuriken homes exactly where i don't want it to
Shuriken can be tough because it lingers for a moment and has a moderate hitbox that sometimes goes slightly inside the boss, and it and kunai can be risky because one or two mistakes will easily bring you to lv2 or lv1. But the relatively low profile of his moves can also be helpful sometimes, like you can usually attack Hurricaune without any worry. For some of the bosses though you have to really know when you can and cant hit them and sometimes stick with only attacking when you know it's safe. Like Fistleo if I want to be really safe I wait for him to heal or use the energy balls then shoot him from behind (though even from behind his hitbox is weird while healing so i might avoid shuriken). Another tip is that if you throw them while dashing the kunai will be even lower.
For purprill, the safest times to attack him are while he's climbing (watch out for when his arm goes down for a frame before he starts going across) and when he goes WOOHOOO and runs across the room (his arms might look vulnerable but trust me it's safe).
Flammole is an utter turd, if I'm being safe then the only time I attack is when he's digging and his tail sticks up for a second. I think he's also open when standing or walking across the room but I'm not comfortable with that yet. You can also throw shurikens at the top of his head like in the video but it's an extremely small window and it has to be when he's guaranteed not to use a move where he moves his arms (so I mostly only try when he uses flamethrower).
Hivolt is another one you just have to know where his wings appear in his animations. The best move to attack is when his claws are rotating around him shooting at you because it's pretty much impossible to hit his weakspot from the front (though if he's about to move forward make sure to aim low so his wings dont pass through the shuriken), but you don't need to solely rely on that. When he appears in the corner before each move you can throw a shuriken but it's very risky if you don't know when it's safe because for some of his moves he wraps his wings around himself for a few frames which will get hit by the shuriken. When he uses lasers, you can try shuriken loops like I did in the video though you're gonna want to practice those a bit.
Protectos can be a little annoying but is definitely workable. Remember that he follows the floor you're on, so go on the bottom floor when he's too high up so hes on the bottom floor to hit his face with kunai (with low energy this is the best strategy) or on the second floor so a jump shuriken will hit him; just dont throw the shuriken while he's jumping.
The water bosses are pretty simple, for Lurerre you mostly have to rely on shuriken so make sure not to throw it while she's descending or else it'll hit her head (and remember that you can damage the big fish when its mouth is open), and for Leganchor there's not much to do besides throw shuriken into his side like in the video

Do you mean before releasing the shuriken? Overdrive gives your moves double damage (though not the multihits after the initial hit of shuriken vs bosses)
I was literally JUST wondering if PX had any awesome skill videos associated with it, seeing as how it is often sidelined in most serious speedruns.
Yes, unfortunately without the destructive power of Model HX or the elemental advantages of the other models it doesn't really have any place in the speedrun. But it can certainly hold its own throughout most of the game

Yup it's a classic kamehameha laser struggle. If you don't know about that then yeah human form is the best way to avoid it if you don't want to attempt a perfectly timed jump

Model PX has Shadow Dash while in overdrive which lets you dash through attacks, yeah. It's to make up for his overdrive not applying an element to his attacks like the other models have

It happens automatically whenever PX dashes while in overdrive (check your control menu to map overdrive, default button is A)

Model P would've been more useful if it similar to the Shadow Armor from X6, could do super-jumps to the ceiling (which I saw in the mod BTW), had a rapid-slashing Katana for a sub-weapon, stick to walls without slipping, and walk/cling onto spikes without dying (latter 2 could also be applied to Model F as Fefnir is based on the Gaea Armor and has those same properties). The Biometal would also be more useful if its barrier attack is much stronger (think the charged version of C-Shot from X5), summons a clone when Overdrive is activated (think Soul Body from X4), and is also completely invincible during Overdrive (think the charged version of Chameleon Sting from X1). All attacks having shot-erasing properties (think the Erase Form from Zero 2, which grants the Saber and Shield Boomerang such properties) would also be the icing on the cake IMO.
Above attacks would fit Model P as most are Phantom's abilities seen in the Zero series not present in his Biometal counterpart, as well as Phantom being based on the Shadow Armor (both having a ninja theme/motif).

@@GameboyFanatic Nah, not as much as I used to. I now think it's fine as it is, with the only things I would add being its attacks erasing shots, the Shadow Armor high jump, and the Chameleon Sting invincibility during the overdrive.

No Omega Zero? 🤔 Hmm... Considering that will be my tactics when going for Serpent is just mind blowing that it works for you. Maybe i'll need to be more precise when doing boomerang tactics just like in the Zero Series. But beating Omega Zero with Phantom is not that hard since he is range(for you) but for me it lacks that damage once Omega Zero can combo you in a way that it will kill you instantly. And its hard to have a 2 sub tanks in Hard Mode which is really annoying for me since i don't play best when i'm using my phone. 🙁
Im assuming omega zero was way too difficult to no damage with model P but this was very impressive i could only beat most of hard mode with model X

Yeah, in a normal run it's a good opportunity to get in a ton of hits with ZX's spin slash (just need good spacing) or knock him down with an overdrive LX slash

I didn't know about Action Replay codes at the time so I didn't do the intro bosses (also didn't consider the Area N bosses). But most of those bosses aren't especially interesting as PX anyway
