@cycobear86 I actually managed to beat a few bosses without getting hit before, without shining laser. Only because some bosses have literally two attacks and once you know their patterns, its so easy to perfect them.

On my first playthrough i just assumed it wouldn't work on bosses,imagine my shock when i went online and saw how sauced up it is
Big nostalgia trip, even though I never played the game(I had a DS but the touch screen was broken before I even got it). I still liked watching videos of this game when it was new.
Human Ashe vs. Hedgeshock was probably my favorite boss fight!

Thank you very much for this amazing walkthrough. Especially how to beat Alberts 1st form. I was like thinking "How do you dodge all these attacks??" but then your strategy to time slow+rapid fire cuts the fight down to literally 10 seconds instead of 3 minutes!
Before I looked up this walkthrough I got to 2nd phase with only 4hp and I was like "Yep, not gonna win this on my 1st try".
I did beat some bosses on my first try though, like Buckfire, without a sub tank. To be fair, some bosses stand in one place for long periods of time.

One of my favorite later games in the franchise. Even if getting 100% took a while.
Man I super need your help. I am getting through metal gear rising now on very hard and I got stuck on the 2 GRADs boss. This fight is unbalanced as hell and the only way I see to beat this is to do counter parry. That's fine, I can make this move but Raiden doesn't deal that much damage like in your vid. He counter parry, deals like 1,5% dmg and doesn't trigger blade mode. Is this a secret combination of buttons or something else? I know you played mgr long time ago but I will super appreciate if you help me

There's still a chance we can get a Zx3 my friend. After the legacy collections and Megaman 11's success, we're bound to get a either a ZX3, Mega Man 12, Legends 3, or even a X9. But only time will tell when these games come out. Though I still have hope.
@@marcusmayo I dunno about legends 3. Its been nearly 10 years since they canned that one, and despite there's been over 100K signatures to bring it back, legends 3 still didn't come back. I mean, who is willing to wait even longer than 10 REAL YEARS for a game to come back?? In all that time, I managed to get new jobs and make over 90 TH-cam videos. There's so much more I have been able to achieve in 10 years instead of waiting for one game. Heck even megaman 11 got made in the time people been waiting for legends 3.
@@SilverHunterN You're right my friend. I just didn't want to give up hope and maybe the Megaman/Rockman franchise could make a full recovery like we all wanted it to. But you're probably right for legends 3 never coming out it's probably just as likely as us getting X9 and the X series hasn't had a game( not counting Irregular Hunter X) in almost 17 years.

@@yamato2216 More like I think when he saves, he does each stage one by one and then upload the times he gets them right and puts them in a run of his best attempts. Which I understand I play these games a lot myself and it's pretty much damn near impossible to get all the items and collectibles without dying or taking any damage especially in this game.

Has anyone been able to open that one door at the bottom at 9:32? It looks to me you can come out of that side from somewhere else?
Edit: I figured it out. After you kill the spider mini boss, drop down the hole he makes. It doesn't lead to any discs, but like a couple of enemies and a middle sized health capsule. After through figuring this out, that's all this hidden route leads to??

This is unrelated to your gameplay, but I can see you did not have integer scaling when setting the screen resolution for the game. I don't know if that's because the resolution settings in the legacy collection are not optimized for integer scaling or if because of running some arbitrary resolution in windowed mode. When not using integer scaling for 2D-sprite-based games, the image can look squished and you may get shimmering artefacts when scrolling horizontally or vertically (basically flickering that's not programmed in by the devs).
One easy way to tell in Megaman games if you have integer scaling or not is by looking at the health bar. All the bars should have the same vertical thickness.

it's custom BGM, the legacy have the original music with HD cinematics on the ds ones.
@@XMaverickHunter Oh so you basically borrowed the remixed den of hunters music from someone or company and added it to the video that's cool. But I do recommend you give them credit by adding a disclaimer in your video just to be safe.

Which one is better this game or zx ?
ZX definitely, every form in that game is fun and versatile but most forms in this game are just inefficient gimmicks almost entirely useless outside of one asinine function used in a small handful of areas, having to whip them out feels like if in real life you had to change your shirt to open your house's front door and then change into another one to sit on your couch. It's comparable to the Iron Boots problem in Ocarina of Time's water temple, but extrapolated to an entire game. Also while neither one of them has a good story this one is like Kingdom Hearts levels of corny and awful. The dub sucks too but I won't hold that against it since it's strictly a localization thing and doesn't affect the gameplay
