Very nice. Would make the 8th gen very interesting to drive as the gears are longer in the 9th. 8,000 rpm in 2nd gear would put you at around 62 mph as opposed to 52 mph with the 8th trans.
Made one just like for my swap. Add some gussets to the stand offs. And widened the base of the stands off or increase the O.D. you'll notice a difference.

OK so the short answer would be you are better off using an 8th Gen because all of the mounts will match up. You will swap the shifter mechanism and shifter cable bracket with the Rsx Type S one and then it all works. If you use the 9th Gen you will need the following. 1. Drill and Tap the front mount holes for the mount 2. Get a rear bracket designed to either mount the back of the engine or the transmission 3. K-Tuned Shifter bracket for K24Z7 with Type S Cables 4. Rsx type S shifter Mechanism Slightly more complicated and costly. It would be easier to swap the internals from one transmission case to another.
Yes they are all interchangeable. Old to new and new to old. Just make sure you check for the distance between the 3rd gear on the countershaft and the speed sensor to make sure it is not touching or too far away depending on whatever K series internals are being used.

MrDani1715 You are going to need to open up both transmissions and swap the internals into the Tsx case. The K 24Z7 transmission will not bolted up to the driver side transmission mount. Furthermore the shifter cables are set up differently. The Tsx shifter cables actually bolt into the shifter bracket.

Marco Abasolo thanks. The transmission will bolt up to any key series engine. However it’s the chassis that makes things a little bit more complex. If you put it into an Ep3 chassis, you will not have a rear mount unless you have one custom made.
@@accorddynamic244 If you're mechanically inclined, no. it's 5 bolts. 4 up top, 1 in the front of the case. However not all of the RSX holes will match up. You will have to tap and thread at least 1 of them.

Hasport sells a mount kit for this transmission in an Rsx Chassis. However you will need to change the shifter mechanism to an Rsx Shifter mechanism since the K24z7 shifter mechanism is basically flipped compared to the Rsx one.

You will use the same axles and the same harness. This transmission will not affect any of that.

The K24z7 and K24z3 transmission are identical in case design. Both bolts up and have the same bolt pattern
