Hi I’m I have a complete 9th gen swap alone with original hardness and ecu just want to know if. Anybody have finished the swap using the oem hardness. And. Will the 9th gen 6speed lsd. Will work as well ?
Im not sure if anyone has but it is doable. You will just have to do some wiring. As far as the trans goes, im not sure how different it is. You may need custom mounts, I cant confirm.
Yes but the k24a should be much simpler, as everything is available off the shelf. Where as, the Z7 swap has some wiring challenges that complicate things
Good Morning I have some questions for you: 00 Accord Swap F23A1 Are the crankshaft main journals numbered, starting from the crank side or pulley side? This block has numbers 42334 instead of letters stamped on the block girdle by oil pan, is this the main bearings code? These numbers are on the outside of the lower main bearings; do they have part numbers ? D8AR D7KM D7LO Thank You
Hello. Unfortunately, I dont have any experience with the f series other than doing general maintenance. So, I wont be able to answer those questions. You may need to get a hold of a factory service manual.
@@thomassidle Thanks hope you enjoy the videos. Will have the rest of the series up soon. And will be making more videos of this car and my many other projects.
You can use most of that stuff if you have a 9th gen donor car. Theres some things that will have to be changed. If you watch all 3 parts I talk about that some. But being that I havent done it I cant tell you step by step.
@@ballsoutperformance the plugs first perfectly but the knock sensor has two terminals instead of one I will Leave it that way and change it if necessary thanks a lot buddy
I'm doing the k24z7 swap in a EK chassis what throttle body and pedal setup do you think would be best I'm using the o.e.m ecu (can I go wire and get it tuned)
@@ballsoutperformance I just finished the video lol going k20a2 harness and ecu with kpro v4 and throttle body from k20a2 sounds like the way to go for less headache. Love the car bro I'm doing z7 in EK and J35A4 with 05 TL 6 speed lsd transmission in a EJ1 coupe lol so I'm always racking my brain on something here lately 😅
The principles will be the same for doing a z7 swap in an ek chassis as it would be in an eg chassis. Some of your swap parts that youll need to buy will be different, as a lot of that stuff is chassis specific.
How can I get in contact with you for u have an email or can you email me interested in the exhaust and ecu I'm trying to build a 90s civic hatch with a k24z7.... mannycamila51@gmail.com

@@ballsoutperformance ok will keep u update thanks brother 💪🏽
@iamdjshino5496 were you able to use the 6 speed trans?
do yk if that intake manifold fit a k24z3 and if so what kind did you get?
Nice video. Very rare. Must collect. Keep it up.
I have a 99 ek sedan would the steps to do this be the same as a k24a from a 1st gen tsx?
Yes but the k24a should be much simpler, as everything is available off the shelf. Where as, the Z7 swap has some wiring challenges that complicate things
why would you use a z7 tho.....
Why not.
@ballsoutperformance cause it's not compatible with most swap parts. way better options

I just wanna know how you fixed the crank sensor problem and which ecu you used 😭
Stay tuned. All that will be addressed soon. Will probably be uploading the 2nd part in this series late tonight.
I will have my popcorn and sippy juice ready 🥳🤩😍
Thanks for doing this will help a lot of people interested in the swap
@@thomassidle Thanks hope you enjoy the videos. Will have the rest of the series up soon. And will be making more videos of this car and my many other projects.
So what did you end up doing as far as the reading of the crank sensor?
Watch all 3 videos. Its explained
What if i have everything from a 9th gen si, can i just transfer everything over to an eg? With mounts only?

Did you change the knock sensor they look different from the k20a2?
Im pretty sure I didnt change that. If I remember correctly, it had the same electrical plug
@@ballsoutperformance the plugs first perfectly but the knock sensor has two terminals instead of one I will
Leave it that way and change it if necessary thanks a lot buddy
Oh ok I got you. I couldnt remember if they were the same or not. Its been awhile
Any difference between the flywheels & clutches?
Im not sure about a z7 clutch. I used a standard k series clutch. Like an rsx type s
@@ballsoutperformance yeah, I'm gonna chance it as I found a really good deal on one. Thanks for the vid
Did you ever sell that ecu... and where can I get one of those intake to buy
I still have ECU. The intake manifold? I bought it used.
@@ballsoutperformance I will buy both ecu and intake
The intake isnt for sale. Just the ecu and exhaust. You can email me archie_marchie@yahoo.com
Would this work for k24z3
Which part, specifically?
I'm doing the k24z7 swap in a EK chassis what throttle body and pedal setup do you think would be best I'm using the o.e.m ecu (can I go wire and get it tuned)
You would probably have to use the original z7 one from like a 9th gen si.

Ok. I thought you were saying that you would be using the oem ecu (as in the z7 ecu). K pro wont work for the z7 engine.
@@ballsoutperformance will kpro work for z7 engine if I use k20a2 ecu?
No, not at all.
I have a 00 ek I want to z7 swap it.. has anyone ever done that ? I need info

Im thinking about selling my ECU and my custom exhaust if anyone is interested
Do you still have the exhaust and ecu
