- It's one of the best feelings in the world: the excitement of doing something for the first time. Today, I test out my mini-camper and spend my first night in it, alongside Vilk! As always, thank you for being here and joining in our adventures, big and small ❤️

Hey adventure seekers ❤ I know that my videos may not be as wild and adventurous these days, but I really need to take it a bit slow right now, ahead of a couple of giant projects this summer. Thank you for understanding and coming along with me on these mini-adventures 🙌
You are no surprise, slow down ,smell , see, feel, grandpa's are special. U 2. Smell the fishes.
I would, could, should cook for you, mmm.
Maybe an Australian Walkabout . The Aboriginal People of Australia are incredibly knowledgeable about survival. Get you ready for Your Own Adventurous Journey 😉🙋♀️
You walk your own path. Its always good to get glimpses of other parts of the world, I'd unlikely be able to visit in person.
I love and look forward to your videos ❤.
Would love to see your local area! It's exotic to me being from the US. You need some time to chill... everyone needs time to rest or they'll get burnt out. Take care of yourself!💕
You are so lucky to still get the time to spend with your Grandpa, Treasure it.
My Mother had a stroke in 2018, suffered with dementia, had a second stroke and passed away in 2022. I learned so much about her and her family in those last few years. How her mother, who had been married four times, raised three half brothers and my Mom, basically as a single parent at a time with no social programs. Her brothers growing up through the Great Depression and WW II. Mom being born at the beginning of U.S. involvement in WWII, and her father passing away when she was 1 year old, because he had been exposed to nerve gas during WWI. They survived and thrived because they had each other. Treasure what you have. ❤❤❤
Yes, I have so much regret on not spending more time with and hearing more of my grandpa's life stories before his life ended. Actually with both my grandpa's, I was selfishly all about having fun with friends & girls
@@davidlauer6434 I did not talk much about the past with my grannies. I was sure I will have more time to talk about it and enjoy company with my parents. Then my dad was gone at 63. Mom had a stupid accident and passed away at 71... Their parents lived into their 80-ies and even 90-ies... Now I basically have no people left to talk about my ancestors and no one to share joint life experience from my childhood to adult life. That's life.
@user-jj1bp3es3j Understand, although I learned a lot in my Mother's last few years. It left me wishing I knew more too. And that is the ways it is. . .
Spending time with grandpa while you can is awesome.
Totally. I wish I spent more time with mine.
Boring is good. Family is gold. Be happy you actually have a grandpa who wants to spend time wit you and who is alive. You will realize when you are older and wiser that these are the best times in life. Always needing action and excitement isn't always good. Sometimes you need to sit still and be 'bored'. Cherish it. It won't last forever.
Time spent fishing and relaxing is not deducted from your life, it is added!
So true!
Love the food thx
Woah... hearing the sentence "going fishing with grandpa" made my eyes tear up.
1. you still have a grandpa
2. you have the opertunity to go fishing with him
I'm jealous at you AND happy for you at the same time :D
Glad you went for it!!! **happy tears**
This! I never had the chance to meet any of my grandpas, and all grandparents are dead now 😭
@@sommer1982official Same
@@LightsHikesAndWanderlove Sorry to hear that 😥
Even my parents are gone. My grandfather died when I was 18.
@@user-jj1bp3es3j That’s so hard to imagine 😢
Ewa, it was supposed to be exactly like it is now. You were meant to be in Poland, showcasing Poland in your vlogs, showing its beauty, wonderful places, and the time spent with your family. Remember, nothing happens without a reason. Everything happens for a purpose, and the number of subscribers you currently have, almost two million, helps in showcasing and spreading awareness of Poland among foreigners even more, make the most of this time. You are spending it with your grandparents, among your loved ones, and these memories will stay with you forever. That is the most precious thing.
Po prostu ciesz się chwilą.
I was going to suggest just that. Spend time with your family and take excursions to show us the beauty that is Poland.
I'm actually looking forward to more Poland videos.
Beautiful and meaningful words. I have never been to Poland and this might give me the idea to visit your home country one day, Eva. This may not look like wild adventure for you, as it is your home, but this is the case for others.
Beautiful! And yes! For someone like me that has Polish roots (My great grandfather was the youngest at the time and first Polish American mayor in the US) but no connection to the country itself, this is a very special opportunity. ❤
You have inspired me Eva! This 68 yr old will be trying solo camping in my RAV4 for the frst time this summer in Atlantic Canada. I was adventurous as a young woman in a van but now just want simple. Thankyou for sharing once again. Truly love watching your videos especially now with sweet Vilk.
Amazing! Enjoy! I'm sure it'll be a blast ❤
Went once to NL. That's great place and the friendliest people I ever met. At least in St. Johns
Don't forget something for self defense, remember peperoni spray is a bad idea if your camping in a vehicle. I'd suggest a small caliber pistola
Sometimes it’s just the simple things that can bring so much joy
So true! And it's so important to learn to find joy in the little things.
@homerfeltheim12345, greetings Homer from Poland 🇵🇱 and my rural living- channel 😊
Cherish those moments with your grandparents. I’d give anything to go fishing with my grandpa one last time. 🙂
Please don't worry about whether or not your videos have enough adventure or excitement. The compelling through-line I find in all your content is actually PEACE. Your own personal presence and the natural surroundings you share with us bring a serenity that's hard to beat, and it shines through whether you're in the most remote areas or right in your own backyard.
Yes. It's raw emotion and a good story
Fishing is an old man's therapy, he reflects on his life and his family. Those of his family that join him are his favorites, not everyone gets invited! A fishing trip is where he is comfortable and feels his mortality and what he has accomplished in his life! Don't forget , he was once your age and the choices he had to make are not the ones you have the same as in his time. Be happy for your opportunities, and understanding of his. He loves you, and you make me proud of the women in my life!! Fritz by the river!
Finding peace of mind in the simplest things in life is truly a wonderful gift, enjoy it☘
You know what you’ve been all over the world and seen and experienced moments that most people will never do .
To go fishing with your grandpa that’s a memory that will never leave you .
I wish I could go fishing with my grandpa again
You are not going to regret spending time fishing with your grandpa. So lucky!
What you didnt see Eva is while you where cooking was Vilk scanning the area . He was protecting mommy , he turned his head right scanned the place , then turned left scanned the place and did it while you were cooking it was soooooo cute . Making sure mommy is ok ❤
Awww my buddy!
Sure is a damn fine dog, he's all business, working strain. And he likes that tailgate, just the place for him to do sentry duty while posing handsomely.
Sometimes we just forget how beautiful is our country...
Fishing with Grandpa. You are so blessed you still have him in your life. Kudos to you Eva.
As a "grandma" myself, I can't explain to you how much joy you must give to your grandfather by spending time with him. Also...as a grandma who loves the outdoors and camping, I totally understand that "feeling" you get being in the outdoors away from things. I just went on a dream Alaska cruise and loved it but mostly I just wanted my little tiny camper and being there in that spectacular scenery and the scent of pine in the clean air with my husband, dog, and cat. Nothing soothes some of our souls like the outdoors.
Eva’s channel always puts a smile in my face every time she post ❤ who feels the same way?! ❤ blessings to all of you 💗
You and me both!
I only actually follow her and Spanishafterhours .
She doesn't
@@user-mq3rx4bz1n "She doesn't" ???
Cherish that time. Fishing may not be glamorous but the time spent and the memories made will last a lifetime. I live in eastern NY, and you know what people think about NY, but there are beautiful places. Places to hike, mountains, woods, lakes ponds and streams. Sometimes you don’t have to go far to find peace and beauty.
Grandparents, enjoy them, hug them, love them, talk to them, eat with them. One day you won't be able to and it will be so hard. Love your videos and your personality!
Love. Love. Love. ❤ Never doubt where you are. You are always where you need to be. So moved by this video.
What can be better than your homeland? It’s great you have been led back to your roots.
A lesson in that, big lesson.
Also, having grandparents still living and spending time with them, going fishing with grandpa - wow, priceless experience, no travelling in the world anywhere can replace that
The simple things in life always bring the greatest pleasures. ❤
I’m always in such awe of your creativity. The volume of shots you’re able to capture, your on-camera presence, and your storytelling ability to make such simple yet cinematic style videos is an inspiration for me as a fellow creator. Thanks for the work you do, continuing to share slices of your life here on TH-cam.
You've no idea how much that means to me! I'm a little bit down these days about not being able to create more EXCITING and adventurous content, so this is really so lovely to hear. Thank you, really.
@@evazubeckSimple things are the best. Easy to relate to and we don’t need much in life. Love, light and strength to you and the world 💜
You always inspire me to enjoy the small things in life that I take for granted. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.❤
Hi Eva. Such a relaxing video! I love it. And I am interested to see your roots, where you come from.
It is such a gift to be still with your grandparents. Precious moments.
Enjoy the moment . Thats it. Step from moment to moment.
We don't expect " exciting far away " content. It matters your daily life. This is interesting how you bring yourself joy in a " normal daily life".
Relax your nervous system, just breath and ..simply be. You are good enough.
Sending you love and appreciation from Italy.❤🎉
@@evazubeck this was a perfect video.
Poland is soooooo gorgeous, thank you for sharing your home country
Your hometown countryside is beautiful. Vilk may have been interested at a point in your food but he was actually watching over you before hand, looking left and right.
I love this style of video because it is so accessible for many people with no big budget or full time yt lifestyle 😍🥰
The time you have with grandpa is precious❤
Beauty is all around us. Halfway around the world and right in our backyard. Thanks for reminding us, Eva.
so true!
Something I notice about you is you have such great skin. And even when you get older, you will keep a radiant and natural beauty. Maybe it’s from all the time you spend in the outdoors, and your low stress levels. It does something amazing to our health. I strive for that peace you feel being outside.
Hello from Austin,Texas. I have loved watching your inspirational videos for quite awhile now. Our only difference is you travel with a beautiful dog and I always have one of my bikes with me. Stay safe Eva and you're welcome here anytime you decide to travel back to the US. Peace and love to you my friend.
i miss my grandparents, really cool seeing you and your grandfather fishing and enjoying the nature.
Sometimes the simple things in life are just the best! And running away, just wondering alone with your own self is something unique to clear our mind.
Have you ever thought about doing Search and Rescue with Vilk? You could travel to wherever you are needed when there is a disaster or a missing person! I think Vilk would be really good at it! You would be a dynamic rescue team!
Yes I have! It may be a little late for him as he is two years old, but I might give it a try with some initial training in due course :)
I am addicted to your videos eva.its just crazy things that you do and unexpected twists and turns in travel vlogs .each video is just unique and definitely tempting to see how you spend your life.
Aw I really appreciate that!
Oh.thank you for your reply ❤
Seems we share the exact same experience as someone from Poland. After seeing Glacier National Park, the Tetons, the Washington and Oregon Coast and spending numerous years in the US I returned to Poland and seemed bored and unimpressed by the landscape, almost disappointed. It took me some trips out into the Polish woods, spending a couple of nights river or lakeside, taking long hikes, to see that although it's not as grandiose as the mountains out West, it forces us to look much more closer at the natural beauty around us. It was here at home I looked closer into the wilderness, started observing it at a microscopic level, finding great joy from observing the different leaves, the changing color of the earth, the various types of birds, running elk, a moose passing 5 meters next to me, the howling of wolves at night under a starlit sky. It was here at home, searching for what could replace the grandiose mountains and glaciers I saw, that I found the true beauty of nature and understood that it's not worse, it's just different but beautiful and divine just the same. It's one of the most valuable lessons I received. Enjoy the great outdoors of Poland Eva!
That countryside is beautiful! Your grandpa has the right idea!
Your grandfather is awesome. You are awesome for spending quality time with him. Grandma is awesome too.
Honestly you're so blessed to still have your grandparents around and it's meant to be for you to be back in Poland. Enjoy these precious moments. It really makes me think of "The Alchemist"
Cherish this time you have with your grandpa and being close to family. You are creating memories that you will always reflect on later in life. Poland is a very beautiful country. I never knew what it was like or what it even looked like until now. Some parts look much like Alaska in certain places. It’s absolutely beautiful.
My Sunday is complete now, there's nothing better then a Eva zu beck upload! Your such an inspiration to me and a lot of other people im sure. Much love from San Antonio Texas 🤠 🔥🖤✌️
Poland is beautiful! I'd love to go camping there, often chasing the exotic we miss the beautiful things we have nearby!
So true!
@tomriley5790, hello 🤗 from Poland 🇵🇱 and my rural living ( channel 😊)
Your cinematography has always been incredible but this video really is a master piece. The way you capture the mood and the setting of those scenes is beautiful
The life of eve is so simple and contented, thank you for showing us the world ,please pass my greetings to Vilk
Not every adventure needs to be grand. This video for just shows a little different side of you. Fishing with your grandpaw and a simple camp by the river, well I'd say that was grand. The smile on your face says it all. 😊you and your pup have a great wonderful weekend and the best of life to you both. Peace out
Love the tranquility of this video. ❤ Life doesn't have to be busy to be beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing.
Well, Eva, you inspire me. In a way I am doing like you are doing. As a getting close to 80 widower, I live in a somewhat remote area, not a long ways from where you once spent the night in Idaho. But now, I am waiting for my mechanic to receive the used $500 transmission that will go into my soon to purchase, 2009 Subaru Forester. He has been working on the engine so that I don't get surprised. I have found You-tube sites that show how to make sleeping quarters similar to yours. I tried sleeping in my 1999 Subaru Outback earlier this spring with snow on the ground, but it was cold and not comfortable, but I kept watching your videos and knew I needed to do something different. As soon as my vehicle and sleeping quarters are finished, I will camp in my neck of the woods, staying in only 3 counties, but where I will go, it is unlikely I will see anyone. I've tent-car camped all over the western U.S. so I am not new to camping.
No cell service where I will go, so I need to be careful. Yesterday I took a CPR/first aid 4-hour course which will help me remember what I learned ten years ago taking a 6-week EMT/search and rescue course.
I now have a 12-volt battery from my older Suby and I just bought a battery box for it. I have an inverter that I tried out once before camping, so I will have a light like at home. I hope to go for 4 days to a week at a time and then come home to a less than modern home, where I can even see one house across a canyon from my kitchen window.
I looked on Amazon for a coffee maker I see you carrying out to your vehicle, but I was unable to find one. I have a camp percolator but your method looks much better.
Thanks for your videos. I think I've seen them all. You probably inspire a lot of wannabe outbackers but probably not a lot of near 80 ones and someone who, though not into computer technology, will actually put some of your ideas to the test.------an old fogie named Pat
Enjoy yourself but be careful out there bud!
Oh my goodness! What adventures you shall have. The planning and prep is an adventure all by itself. I do recommend a doggy companion. I live very remotely and feel very safe with my 2 dogs. They're my best friends and bodyguards. Keep a journal and write a book! Be careful. Be safe. God bless you.
@@margaretlally9747 I've had dogs often but where I live it seems the only dogs available are either Rotweilers of Pit Bulls. My last dog was a Pit Bull. Find when young but eventually I was the only one who could control him. Vilk looks like a nice dog. My only pets are my deer family. On young buck is in the velvet. The turkeys aren't as fun as the deer. Sometimes the deer will chase the turkeys. It is fun to live in the country and I am definitely in the country. Wish I understood computer technology and the internet.
@user-sk7zc1fc5u Who knows? The next 4 legged love of your life could be on one of those dusty gravel roads in the middle of nowhere. Him needing you as much as you need him.
Side note... my pitbull would've invited the local axe murderer over for dinner and a sleepover. He simply loved EVERYONE! RIP Trigger...you are missed...
The wisdom and experience of Grandparents - absorb it before it's gone. It is often so subtle: a simple hand movement, a twist of the wrist, a raised eyebrow at just the right moment.
Simplicity is the highest form of complexity. (Da Vinci). Your simplest videos are the best because of your true enthusiasm!
Beautiful! Never underestimate the powers of a grandpa. Love you and Vilk and all your adventures. Keep them coming. 💓
Love your beautiful camping spot and that you had some special time with your grandpa! You know when I was younger I wanted out of my hometown so badly and ended up moving a few times and then returning back home. But that's what it feels like now... home.❤ I've learned to appreciate it through new eyes and to really savor the moments with family. Would love to see more of your beautiful homeland!
Definitely good to have the opportunity to reconnect to our roots!
@Melissa-fz9tk, hello 🤗 from Poland 🇵🇱 and my rural life - channel 😊
A simple life can be a beautiful life. Amidst the hustle and bustle of life, glad you found the peace and tranquility in that special corner of the world. Eva, you are indeed living the best part of your life. You have our backs! 🫶
Don’t mind the less adventurous videos at all- we just love seeing u Eva! And hearing ur thoughts abt the places around u. ur perspectives and story telling amaze me
Evening Eva,Sometimes the most exciting places are right under our nose, sharing it with family is even better! I mean what more do you need...a flowing river, camp fire, food and water..(Tea I'm guessing!) perfect getaway from the hussle and bussle of modern life. Glad your feeling better too. Health@|Happiness to you
Eva, enjoyed your sharing the initial camping experience in your new set up. Thank you. Two thoughts: curtains would be a nice addition, but you might also consider fabric covered foam or cardboard inserts for your back windows (Velcro attached, easily removed and stored flat while traveling ). It would block the light and provide privacy. Re the refrigerator: An ice chest would work fine for two day trips. A 12 V fridge is good for longer. Either can be moved to the front seats to maintain sleeping space. Cheers! Enjoy a carefree summer!
Heimweh. Its a feeling that grows and Eva, I’ve never seen you look more happier! That camping trip has done wonders for you and Vilk. There is an expression in English, the heart is at home and what it means is the feeling of being where you’re supposed to be that can happen nowhere else. Its the most beautiful feeling in the world, this love of home. You’ve literally been all over the world like you said but you’ve never explored what its like to be at home. I’m glad you’re experiencing it for the first time. Herzliche Grusse! ❤😊
Vilk looks so majestic sitting on the tailgate keeping watch on his mom. Great job on the build. Hopefully you live far enough inland from all the war troubles.. keep safe much love and respect from Tennessee in the United States of America
You have described so well the mood I am in after a six week van trip. Being 'home' holds no stimulation for me, so I agree that finding camping places close to home is a current solution.
Eva, the relationship you have with Vilk is very special. It's obvious that there's so much love and respect between the two of you. It really is a joy to watch when you are together, wherever life takes the two of you.
The adventure in you will never die.
Load some supplies in a backpack and take your awesome dog on a long multi-day hike! Fantasy accomplished!

Growth, personal evolution, diversity, and new directions are all part of the journey. This was lovely. You make everything interesting.
I just smiled when you told us what you were going to do. Vilk seemed happy to get into the wilderness again!
Some of my best camping is done spur of the moment, camping quietly waiting watching for wildlife, witch happens almost every time...the joys of quiet camping I call it.
I'm so jealous. My grandpa passed when I was very young, and I would be so happy if I could join him in a fishing trip today!
Vilks reaction when you appear at your dads camp, a magic moment to say the least.
Just being, this is life! Togehter with the most loyal friend there is🐕💕 When you were eating, Vilk didn't just want a bite, he was saying: Relax Eva, enjoy your dinner, I am watching over you😊
Your Landcrusier can go anywhere that you think it cannot. Don't sweat it.
We had a river on the bottom fields of our farm in Shropshire. Dad owned a camping kit company, so my brothers and I used to test new gear overnight in the fields and river. Great fun as lads.
We have a proverb in Saudi Arabia that says: the Oboist of neighborhood does not make rapture...
this how you feel ....
you have a beautiful home region, amazing landscapes and awesome weather but you still feel it is boring !!
Vilk standing guard so you can eat safely is one of the reasons why I like dogs more than most humans :D
beautiful camp site. Water and greenery!
It's good to take some time with your grandpa. You'll appreciate that later in life.
It's real life that's why I love this. It's about family and home and where you came from and just relaxing and enjoying your surroundings. Exotic trips are nice but I love seeing this peek into your hometown, what it looks like, feeling the nostalgia of being with grandparents again vicariously through you. I loved where you camped. It's beautiful. I loved that cross next to you. It reminds me that we are never truly alone when we have Jesus. God bless you Eva. Praying for you.
This is a river navigation sign :D
It's a simple renewal. You've returned home to your roots for a renewal. It only seems boring now.
In the autumn, when a tree needs to reset, its leaves flare to a brilliant beauty before falling to the ground, as the tree pulls all its sap back into the roots to recharge over the winter.
In the spring, when the tree is ready, it sends forth the sap in renewal, bringing forth new life, new growth, new strength.
You will recharge, renew, and reimerge with new life, new growth, and new strength.
I look forward with great expectations to those videos, as I enjoy these videos of your renewal.

hey Eva you are amazing. Im pretty sure you have got rid of all misquitos being next to the lake then lighening up fairy lights in the car and leaving door opened = unbelieavable i would have never done that!
I'm always astonished by the beauty you display.
I never miss her videos😍
Poland is beautiful! And we had a king of both Poland and Sweden. It didn't go well though.
But you have missed a beautiful part of Sweden, Eva. "Dellen". It's, or they're, the lakes, and you can drive between them. It's worth it, so beautiful! As we have "allemansrätten" it's ok to just camp there, and wake up looking out over one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. If you want food there's a lovely vegitarian resturant in Delsbo, or you can give us a shout and me and my wife will make you something nice. Welcome to Hälsingland!
Hope to make it back there one day!
Sometimes the places you've never roamed are the closest to you. Glad you were refreshed by this trip!
Also, Vilk has grown into a handsome and noble-looking dog. His love for you is absolute and you can see it in his eyes. :D
You are more adorable than ever. A relaxed you is a delight. Thank you for letting your honorary grandpa join you in such a peaceful setting. Love you, GregW

To new beginnings!
I car camp too and it's one of the best feelings. Feels so grounding and honestly, its just less faffy and uncomfortable than tent camping.
You are one of the most inspirational adventurers I have seen, and I just love your content, your personality, and your vibe! Thank you for being alive!
I love to see Poland! Beautiful country.

Lost my fur baby a week ago today. Bad carcinoma metastasized friends on all her major organs before we knew what was going on. She would have been 8 last Saturday. In that spirit, it was nice to see Vilk happy and bounding around. Definitely do not move him when he's sleeping like that. I know you know this, but I have to say it... appreciate every day you have with Vilk (and your grandpa, for that matter). It'll never be long enough.
Thank you for showing that you do not have to go to far away places to make great travel stories.
Putting your feet in the grass on a new morning with a good cup of coffee while enjoying your own country is also worth living for.
Thank you for you true travel story telling and film talent
You always put a smile on my face..
Love how when you put down your rest spots, Vilk immediately bypasses his bed and chills on the blanket instead 😂😂
Haha he knows the good stuff
What type of sandwich did your grandfather cook on the campfire?
Grilled cheese, yum
Eva, you are a hermit. Look through history to the seekers of peace and tranquillity away from civilisation and you will find mirrors of you. You are the most sane person who I thankfully follow on TH-cam. Enjoy life.
