I've had the same problem, ask your doctor if you can get a at home nebulizer, mint, ginger, lemon, honey, and cinnamon in warm water helps over time. Don't use inhalers, they dry out your throat. I have asthma but hasn't bothered me since a kid, but after covid I have asthma symptoms again. I was a healthy D1 basketball player athlete as well.
The first couple of times I ran after covid, I felt like I was hungover. They were short (20 minutes) and easy runs. Aerobically, they weren't hard, but I just kind of felt gross. Each subsequent run felt better. For several runs, I only paid attention to heart rate, just to make sure it was in the easy / aerobic zone and that I wasn't pushing too hard. After a few of these, I had figured out what "easy" should feel like and just paid attention to breathing and perceived effort. Distance is back to about 50% of what it was pre-covid, but that's just because I'm deliberately increasing slowly. At this rate, I'll probably be back to 100 percent in another 6 weeks. This may be slower than necessary. But I'd rather err on the side of caution and avoid the problems of jumping back in too quickly. Thanks for the video!

trust me brother it will come i was so scared i wouldnt get it back but yea zinc is good also try the orange thing everyone is saying it may not work right away but it will add to your recovery trust also start smelling random things everyday that has strong smells like vicks itll also help over time ill rather have those symptoms again then shortness of breath that im still dealing with after covid so just pray and take your time i know its a nightmare
Wow thank you for this information.... I went straight back to flat out cardio after recovering from covid and my back pain has been at me for a month or more ... should I take a few weeks off to rest ?? Thank you in advance x
So glad you found it helpful. You don't necessarily need rest all together, but maybe leave more time for recovery

I just got over covid infection was really sick for 2 weeks . Been a month and I'm still having shortness of breath and really tired
How long did it take for you to get over it this comment was a year ago
Can I still use creatine and a very strong pre workout after my ten days ?
I wanna know if I can start working out after 14 days
What kind of watch do i need for my heart rate?
You can use most newer smart watch, but we often recommend Garmin watches
@@Feldmanphysicaltherapy will an oximeter do?
@@johnpaul1701 yes definitely
Yeah I've seen even NBA players work hard trying to recover.
I’m on day 7 I’ve been walking about 15-20 minutes a day. Is that okay. Symptoms have been mild and I’ve been in quarantine. But I feel like I should move around.? Is that okay
It is hard to say for sure what is best, definitely follow the advice of your doctors, but general light movement is helpful
I wish this video had Spanish subtitles so I can shared it with my family in Mexico 🇲🇽 where this virus has been mortal and out of control
Is it OK Mam if we join gym post 6 months of Covid 19 recovery???
Everyone is very different, if you feel ok, start back nice and easy
After my first vax, i noticed the drop in my stamina when i tried exercising 1 week after. Then i slowly got back to exercising 2 weeks later. But after the 2nd vax i didnt exercise for 3 weeks after recovering from the sideeffects because i was busy moving places. I was shocked that my stamina has still not returned. I get tired after 7 mins of exercising even though its just light ab exercises. When i tried 1kg of weights, it felt like 3kg! And my arms were weak after. Very frustrating when its been so long and not seeing any turn around... None of the ppl around me are like that... Feeling kind of worried if i should take the booster shot when the time comes...
Dont take that poison
It's a bit late now, but if you got that from the vaccine you do not want to feel COVID itself. Get the booster--COVID is worse
Did you ever decide to take the booster
I tested postive 21 days ago..nd tested negative 5 days ago. I still feel so much tired and exhausted even if i stand only for 15 min. My joints and legs pains a lot.
When will this tiredness be gone !?
So hard to say, everyone has a very different experience. Keep listening to your body
I tested positive 11 days ago and feel much better. Definetely not 100, when should I get re tested to see if I'm negative ?
Are u fine now
@@gaurisaraswat4103 yes m fine now
@@caparivagupta407 can u just help me out I tested positive on this Tuesday with omicron I don't have fever now but have cold cough and throat pain and i also face pain in body joint pain and fatigue . How did you overcome it?
Any suggestions on how to get rid of fatigue?? this is really the only thing that remains for me. I had covid Delta variant and am grateful for having my organs remaining in tact. sometimes my heart rate goes up and bit when I do light cardio. Is this common?? Light exercise makes you feel like you've walking a flight of stairs
@Ashley Witson, PT, DPT I'm completely recovered now but it was like a shot in the dark because there was such a small amount of info possible. Yes the key was exercise and the fatigue is gone. Just had to majorly pace things. No cardiac abnormalities just the covid itself had loads of ekgs thanks
How can i contact you via chat or call?
Hi , Can You suggest one good wearable to monitor health..
You bet! We have a full video on a bunch th-cam.com/video/UC8JOEOVIWg/w-d-xo.html
It was very usefull! Thanks
Of Course! Thanks For Watching!
I had symptoms like flu and losing senses. Should i wait 10 days after negatif? Because I try to get simple exercise. Is it good?
Definitely listen to your body, don’t push it or it could lengthen the recovery for some people. Feel better!
Everytime I get my fitness up I end up with lung pain and breathless for a week , it hit my bottom part of lungs and I shallow breath , and arm pain.
I had covid in early April
It's been a year I've done everything still tired and not walking real good I'm old 85 and don't want to do anything
Pacing
This video was not alot of help.. all she did was talk
Sorry it wasn’t helpful to you, the goal was to simply educate
Great video.
Thanks so much! Glad it helped
I've been double jabbed but unfortunately caught covid my main symptom was loss off smell and night sweats and tiredness not to bad compared to some people, my mistake was training to quickly i ran 10k and now have sore throat with chesty cough, resting heart gone from 48 to 55 plus heart rate while running was up from 120 to 140 bpm people say if you get covid after vaccination its only mild, you might not end up in hospital but its still a serious condition life changing for a lot of people
Aren't the test kits useless once you have COVID. What I mean is you may have had COVID for two months and you are now no longer contagious but yet the test shows positive for COVID. There should be a separate test to show if you are contagious once your symptoms are gone.
I went on my exercise bike and I’m still like whew 30 minutes later. I worked out for 15 minutes on a fan bike. 15 minutes.
Alright, I just recovered from Covid days ago and planning to go back to Chloe Ting challenges then came across this video. Meh 😑

I got twice 1st was in uae its was only loss of smell & taste zero other symptoms now again after 6 month headache, mild sore throat and body ache for less than 6 days all cleared but i feel something not right i have started slow workouts definately i can feel the hardness hope it will pass
Having sex post covid z much more exhausting and tiring. Earlier I used to go up-to 4 rounds daily without any issue but now after 1, it feels like I ran a marathon lol
