oh my WORD!! this cake was RIDICULOUSLY delicious!! i gave it to my family and friends and not one of them didn’t love it! 100% will make again☺️thank you so much for this amazing recipe!!
I made this recipe and it turned out delicious. Weirdly the whole thing tasted better at room temperature, when I pulled it out of the fridge it wasn't nearly as good after sitting out for a while. My nieces also weren't a fan of the pieces of Reece's cups between each layer so I will probably leave that out next time. Overall it was delicious and looked good! I went with a more marble effect instead of chocolate drip.
AMAZING CHOCOLATE CAKE!!!! Probably the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted! I did cut down on the sugar for the buttercream to only half the amount. Still a little too sweet but overall amazing cake 😋
This cake looks delicious and l actually had a chocolate and Peanut Butter Cake when l got Married and it was delicious too but l must try this cake thanks for your recipe
I just made this cake today! All your cakes that I have made has not disappointed. I found it on Pinterest, where I follow you. I don’t have social media, so I pin a pic of the cake. I came looking for you banana split cake I saw on your blog.
Beautiful. Thank you Going to try and make this with my granddaughter for her GPA’s Birthday tomorrow. U said u used the Wilton 789 tip. I have one but it’s jagged on one side and smooth on the other. How do u get the 789 to make sides smooth when coming out? I guess I will find tomorrow 😁
Would I be able to use any oil? Or can I substitute for melted butter? I currently only have grape seed oil on hand but I will go get veggie oil if I need to lol
This looks great, and I really want to make it, but I'm a bit thrown off by the amount of frosting given considering the size of the cake. Do you use up all of it, or is there any left over?
You can see in the video that I use a piping tip to add frosting to the sides of the cake and that uses quite a bit of frosting. So yes, I use pretty much all of it. You can reduce the amount if you don't think you will.
Soooo yummy looking! Would this cake freeze well as is or should I freeze the layers ahead and just frost the day of? I really want to do this ahead bc I'm going to be painting my kitchen!
I tried this. Epic fail. Followed recipe to a T and cake stuck, icing didn’t get the spreadable consistency and it fail. But in the bright side it tasted wonderful. And suggestion on what I need to do to make it work next time?
I just made this cake and I agree that the icing was so sticky and not spreadable. It kept peeling off of my cake. I had to use my fingers to press it on. Icing tasted good tho.
@@lifeloveandsugarofficial what do you adjust the baking to when using 2, 9inch pans? I want to make this tomorrow where is the written recipe. Please answer my questions ASAP!!! Thank you.
One way I skipped on eggs was using banana but it does give off the banana taste pretty strong but it tasted really good like s chocolate peanut utter banana
Good video, the written recipe was lacking in some spots for clear instructions and I wouldn’t consider myself a beginner, but not a professional either. Overall good cake, but I would go for a simpler chocolate cake next time

This is actually looked very complicated but it seems easier now that I saw the vid. Hopefully mine turns out as well
can you make the cakes ahead of time and refrigerate?
yes, you can.
Thanks. Looks so good
Nice recipe😍

do you use dutched or regular coco powder?

I don't ever really freeze whole cakes, so I'm not sure. I generally recommend freezing layers and then frosting later.
@@lifeloveandsugarofficial excellent, tx, that's what I ended up doing
Life, Love and Sugar! Can you tell me the exact number of grams of each ingredient you use when making this cake? Pls ~ I will wait for your reply
Following the link she provided will take you to the recipe page with the ingredient list.
Mmmmmmmmmmmh good cake
delicious
Made it today it was good only thing was it was very sweet 🎂
I wish you had linked the icing video
I tried this. Epic fail. Followed recipe to a T and cake stuck, icing didn’t get the spreadable consistency and it fail. But in the bright side it tasted wonderful. And suggestion on what I need to do to make it work next time?
I'm a beginner baker but one thing I found that helps is having all your ingredients the same temperature, such as the milk and eggs!
I just made this cake and I agree that the icing was so sticky and not spreadable. It kept peeling off of my cake. I had to use my fingers to press it on. Icing tasted good tho.
Where are the measurements s for this recipe, like cup or amount
You had me at peanut butter 🤤 new sub here, loving your videos!
Kindly tell me the quantities of your ingredients 🙂
Haji Ashraf it’s in the link in description box
What size cake pans did you use?
How can i do it without ingredients??!!!!
Can I make this cake even though I don't own a mixer? Or do I really need one for the peanut butter icing?
Theres always an option to make it with whisk and spatula, it works just as the mixture.
Love the recipe. What size pans did you use
they are 8 inch pans
Would i be able to use this recipe with 9 inch pans? Does it make that much of a difference?
You can, the layers will just be thinner. You might want to do just two layers. You'll also need to adjust the baking time.
@@lifeloveandsugarofficial what do you adjust the baking to when using 2, 9inch pans? I want to make this tomorrow where is the written recipe. Please answer my questions ASAP!!! Thank you.
Can I use candy melts to make ganache?
Technically, yes. But I think the ganache often looks kind of waxy.
Peanut butter is salted?
Is there a way to skip eggs? Can I use Greek yogurt instead?
One way I skipped on eggs was using banana but it does give off the banana taste pretty strong but it tasted really good like s chocolate peanut utter banana
Can I get the recipe details please
My peanut butter chocolate cake with kool-aid
hi! if I may know how long is the diameter of the pan you are using?
They are 8 inch pans
What are the ingredients
Could I use buttermilk instead of milk?
yes, you can.
please make the reeses peanut butter cheesecake from cheesecake factory and the vanilla bean cheesecake from cheesecake factory
How to hav an idea about quantities
its in the written recipe in the description
This cake was DELICIOUS! But, "9 cups" of powdered sugar was entirely too much! My mixer cried uncle 😂
Good video, the written recipe was lacking in some spots for clear instructions and I wouldn’t consider myself a beginner, but not a professional either. Overall good cake, but I would go for a simpler chocolate cake next time
Can you give the amounts used
