Do I need to add any extra flower for cooking in high altitude or should the recipe be fine? I always have to add a couple tblsp to brownies to make sure they cook properly.
I made this cake for my grandfather’s 98th birthday today. His favorite dessert combination ever is chocolate and peanut butter. He loved this cake and so did everyone else at his surprise party! This cake tastes just as good as it looks and if you are reading this and considering baking this cake then take this as your sign to do it!! You will not be disappointed
That looks so delicious. Can’t wait to try it. 1:30 am and thinking of getting out of bed to make it lol Update: made this after waking up and it was absolutely fantastic. Had a little hiccup when making the ganache. It broke. Having never made ganache before it was a little upsetting. After reading up I found it was saveable. Glad I didn’t toss it and give up. Found adding a tablespoon of hot water and using an immersion blender fixed the ganache.
@@TheCookingFoodie Oh. My. Gosh!! This was an amazing cake recipe. Instructions were so easy to follow, the cake tasted amazing and wasn't difficult to get same, brilliant, photo quality cake that you have on your thumbnail! Everyone raved about the taste of the cake and look! When I first brought the cake out, people thought that I'd bought it from a bakery! Thanks for the recipe! It was so much fun to see it come together!

Hmmm, I'm wondering if you took the tops of the layers that you cut off, crumbled them up, then spread over the the top while the ganache is still hot. The texture and eye appeal would be great. My fathers favorite dessert was peanut butter pie. He worked at a country club and the pastry chef would make one for him on occasion. Thanks for sharing...
When I saw this thumbnail, I had to click so fast, because I love me some peanut butter, and I was always wanted a peanut butter cake, My dad even Dave a Oreo cake on my 26th birthday
Can I use an all natural peanut butter (the ones that the oil naturally separates)? Will this interfere with the texture or consistency of the frosting? What do you recommend? Thank you. 🙏🏼
I made this cake with some changes. I put 250g of sugar instead of 350g, 120ml of buttermilk instead of 250ml, 120ml of coffee instead of 250ml and it was sweet anyway but not too much and there is no need for more milk or coffee. I also put 100g of sugar in a peanut frosting instead od 200g and it was sweet. The cake is ok, not something I will bake again though.
Hi, i really like that cake and I would love to do it, but I have one question: what minds "buttermilk"? I try to translate to my own language, but cames something, which I have not idea what minds 😉 Love from Bulgaria! And thank you for the receipt.
It's liquid from the process of making butter, I substitute it with whole milk and either vinegar or lemon juice. 1 cup milk + 1 tablespoon vinegar/lemon juice = 1 cup buttermilk. Just let it stand until it coagulates a little

So nice Cake.
Can I use 9 “ pans instead? 😃
Great recipe! i'm really planning to do this but i do have a question about the coffee that was used, is it an instant coffee?
Yes, instant coffee
Superb
Yummy yummy
I made this cake with some changes. Wht was the overall weight of the kg? 1kg or more?
Can I reduce the sugar?
can i skip heavy cream?
Hi, i really like that cake and I would love to do it, but I have one question: what minds "buttermilk"? I try to translate to my own language, but cames something, which I have not idea what minds 😉
Love from Bulgaria! And thank you for the receipt.
You can substitute for sour cream or plain youghurt
What is Buttermilk?.
Is it to mix butter with milk and if I am correct then what is the amount of butter and milk to make the buttermilk?
It's liquid from the process of making butter, I substitute it with whole milk and either vinegar or lemon juice. 1 cup milk + 1 tablespoon vinegar/lemon juice = 1 cup buttermilk. Just let it stand until it coagulates a little
Good
Super
Is there any substitute for butter milk. Anyone pls 🥺
