- I love the holidays, but I try making ornaments for all year around. I will post at the end a few pictures of my large pieces.

Schedule I use, but please get to know your kiln and use it as a base.
250 - 1280 - 30 minutes
9999 - 950 - 4 hours
50 - 700 - 15 minutes
200 - 300 - 0
9999- 100 - Done

I use the waffle grid for cutting. It makes a great smooth cut.
Do u use only transparent glass or will opal work too?
I've personally only use transparent, I'm sure opalescent will work too. Please try and send me pictures.
Why the 4 hour hold on the annel?
My kilns are started in the morning and usually finish through the night. I time it just right for it to be done when I wake up. So I use all the extra time to annel it.
Thanks for sharing! So you're laying the pieces on edge?
Set the pieces on their sides, one next to the other. Then, layer the frit on top to help hold them together.
