  • This video is a look at the make ahead components I’ll need for next weeks videos. Trying to avoid a time crunch.

That circle glass with swirls is wonderful

For cutting the circles, after I make the circle cut, I flip it over on a folded towel and press right on the back of the cut line and walk that around all the way. Then when that is done turn it over again so the score line is on top and make your relief cuts but then use the running pliers just on the relief cuts, I think you will have much better luck. Great on the rest of the work. Have a nice Holidays.

I love that 96 clear reactive glass… it creates lovely copper swirls on top of blues & greens.

That sounds wonderful!! I can’t wait to see what it does when fired! Do you know if it requires higher temps to react than used for texture molds?

@@KathyFitz1113 I think my post was deleted because the TH-cam police thought I was including a spam link. I was trying to send you a link from Delphi on the glass.
Anyway, without fusing it to a copper bearing glass you won’t get the lovely reaction. I’m sure that’s not what you want to hear.

TH-cam can be a challenge! Thanks, I’ll check the Delphi site. I want that reaction so I’ll have to make adjustments. ;)

Hi Kathy, I'm just getting started in glass fusing and I'm curious as to why you prefer 90 coe.

Welcome to fusing! You will love it!! 😀
I chose COE 90 because I’ve successfully used Bullseye glass since my stained glass days (‘70s) and really no other reason. It doesn’t matter which you choose, as most suppliers have both. You just can’t mix COEs.
