    That's amazing the Everlast doesn't try to sell us their products with poor marketing by stating we need this and that.
    Promoting cheaper solutions doesn't offend intelligence of customers and I believe that is the path every brand should choose.
    BTW. Some tips were really great. Thanks

    This is absolutely Golden, Mike. Thank you so much for this. I'm getting a heavy bag for the house, and I want my kids to start too. They're six and seven, and I don't want them to mess up their hands, they've got their whole future ahead of them. I'll start them slow and easy, and make sure to take all your advice here. So thank you, brother, know that you're doing good in this world. I wish you happiness and success in everything you do.

      You're really doing a great thing for your kids by teaching them to be physically active at such a young age, it will carry with them for the rest of their lives. I plan on doing the same thing with my son. Our jobs as parents are to prepare them for the world as best we can and of course I want him to do well in his studies but I also want him to be healthy and enjoy life: )
      Good luck to you and your family and thanks for taking the time to watch :)

      Thanks for commenting;
      This is a common injury in boxing and it usually results from an imbalance in the muscles of the shoulder. Many people have weak rotator cuffs.

    Mike, do you have any preferences with which of the bigger knuckles to land punches or you are aiming with all of them?

    • @fightyourwayfit
      @fightyourwayfit  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching. That’s a good question. I don’t really have a preference. I just try to hit my opponent. I guess the two larger ones are probably best. 😎😎😎

      @@fightyourwayfit , thanks for the answer, Mike! I was with exactly the same opinion on the question like you, until... I have read on the internet how fragile are the human hands and how sure is the suffering of a man, if he hits with his fists. :)

    • @fightyourwayfit
      @fightyourwayfit  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank for commenting, at your weight, you should use at least 12-ounce gloves but 14 ounces would give you a better workout for your sparring sessions

    Is it normal for you palms to feel sore and your grip strength to turn weak?

    • @fightyourwayfit
      @fightyourwayfit  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching. It shouldn’t effect your palms and grip strength. The only time I see that is if the gloves are the incorrect size or the fighter is constantly griping the inside of the glove. Perhaps just learning to relax the hand while inside of the glove will fix the problem. Hope that helps. Thanks again for taking the time to comment. 🥊🥊😎😎😎😎

    I'm 15 what length do I need of wraps?

    • @fightyourwayfit
      @fightyourwayfit  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That will always depend on how big you are. Usually the 180 inch wraps will be the way to go. If they’re too long you can wrap the excess around your wrist and forearm. Thanks for watching 🙂🙂🙂

    Sledgehammer can give you a great forearm workout hitting all muscles,and you can make it progressively harder as you grip the shaft in a different place.Quick search on TH-cam will explain more but it’s worked for me better than anything I’ve tried.

    dont listen to anyone saying that wraps should protech and pad the knuckles . wraps are there to keep the wrist from bending . the gloves are what protect the knuckle . use all the length of the wrap to protect the wrist . using wraps to pad the knuckle is a waste of the length of the wrap .

    how to protect your hands for boxing if you are alone on a deserted island

  • @davejohnson-yi2rk
    @davejohnson-yi2rk 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Solid info BUT - - your voice is way too muffled! What sort of microphone are you using? I like the content, & the visuals, but your voice sounds as if you were talking through two feet of cotton! You should invest in a really good pro mic, and maybe contact a Sound Recordist or Audio Engineer. I've rarely seen a video where the voice-over was a problem, but this is the first time were it undermines your effort & I had to switch to subtitles to supplement trying to understand you (btw, turning up the volume and still having a problem is an indication that there was a problem in the initial recording itself). It's NOT that you're too far away either, I've been on enough live sound movie shoots to know that.

    • @fightyourwayfit
      @fightyourwayfit  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry about that. I’m not sure why the audio was so terrible for this one. I usually use a mic but perhaps it was not calibrated properly for this video. I thank you for taking the time to watch 😎😎😎😎
