    I purchased an Atlas Throttle lock years ago for a BMW that I had and was never able to get it properly mounted. Then came my 390 adventure where I was able to get it installed and it works just enough to give my old hand a break once in a while. Nice vid Frank.

      Hello Jon, I am an Atlas owner as well pricey, but works well. Other than in Florida... I went in a ride to the Keys with soem friends, it was almost 100. Mid way down, the glue gave way on the friction block! And the spares were all home in New York! Thank you for stopping by and commenting! - Frank

      Hello Squid, I thought for years that CC was unimportant, then I took a three hour ride on a friend's bike with CC. I am SOLD on it now. Such a nice feature. Thank you for stopping by and commenting! - Frank

    Dang Frank, you went above and beyond riding in the cold and heavy rain to get this video out. For as much as you ride that is worth every penny. It looks like a nice kit and keeps the factory look to the bike, which is important. I like to use my cruise every now and then, but I am by no means a "cruise dependent" rider despite the rumors 🤣. Cheers.

      I would have thought that cruise would have been a real plus on some of those long highway runs. But I suppose that you tend to look for the roads less traveled where cruise would not add much. Have a great 2024!

    I would go for the MCCruise guys down under. I installed one of their systems on a 2019 V Strom 650 and it worked great. And they've been doing cruise control systems for 20+ years with a good track record.

    • @jkmayhem
      @jkmayhem 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      And if you use their app and sync it to a gps it can automatically change the speed depending on what is on that road. Will be extremely handy riding through europe this coming summer.

    • @ioandragulescu6063
      @ioandragulescu6063 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@jkmayhem that app is weird and after 20 + emails with them about installing the cruise system (very very helpful btw and very fast answers), as soon as I asked about the app, they stopped replying. I am guessing whatever developer they used to make the app, the relation between them has gone sour.

    they could have taken the input for the rear brake easily, from the tail light connector, and when it lights up just cancel CC, since you have to plug into diagnostics connector on the rear seat, the brake light connector is there as well!!!

      I've been in my headlight about three times. Miserable. The thing that most concerns me is the moving and cramming back in. It's bound to have some effect on wires and connections eventually.

I know that, in frustration, I am aggressively moving wires and am probably crimping then in places I should not, and as you stated, damaging connections.
