Just some guidance on how to install the cruise control from Veridian cruise for the 390 adv. Should also be compatible with Duke/RC 390, and Husky 401.
One of the things I did that helped a lot is to keep the wires in place in that tight ball of wiring. I just fished my wires through. When I needed more room at a zip tie I would put my own zip tie around it and cinch it up with about an inch of slack then cut the factory zip tie off, push my connector through, then cinch up my zip tie. That way I didn’t have to unravel and repackage that mess of wiring. Hardest part avoided! 😅
Got all installed today. And you are right even we mistook the connectors initially (connected white one to black) But later realised what you had pointed out. However on the Indian version of the 390 ADV I am getting an ECU error on the console. Also the module did not flash any lights. 🤔
on the console, are you referring to the 390 screen? or the LED on the module? I never got any errors or anything pop up ono the bike itself.. The module itself should not be flashing, unless you are calibrating the throttle (would flash blue in that case). It should be a solid color, green if its ready to use, red if there's an error, if no colors, it might not be connected correctly? Make sure your ignition is ON when you're doing any of this.
@@LookoutMoto Thanks. Yes the 390 screen. It displayed an ECU failure message. Then on the module no LED was lit. No solid green. However I will try what you suggested. Please bear with me. I might come back with a few questions
Thanks for the video! Mention 390 Duke and RC in the title/tags and it might increase your views, seeing as the product is also intended for those makes, and people searching on those terms might also find your vid. I just might install this myself, but I'm kinda waiting to see if someone does a 390 Duke video demonstrating it in operation.
Im probably going to do a review of it in a little bit. put a ton of miles on it. just dont have time or equipment to film rn. lost/ broke some gear on my trip.
hey! I believe there's one floating around.. check Franks review here on youtube or check in the facebook group for the 390's. when I purchased mine I got a discount directly from veridian but that was 6 months ago.

I would recommend not to pinch that obd wire on the tool pack band…
With time it may cause issues/short.
Oh Damn, just found this. Thanks for the video! Can we have your permission to share this on our website?
