I seen your video with the test pipes and wanted to give you a heads up that they are a pain is a** to install. Ended up having to reinstall my driver side OEM cat cause I couldn’t get that one bolt off on the passenger side! Bought them used locally and the seller said took him 45 mins, took me a whole 7 hours to get nowhere! Hopefully you’ll have better luck than I did!
I've already got a taste of the pain in the ass! I got under there to see what I was dealing with and can already see its going to be tough. I got a couple super long extensions and some swivels for my ratchet so I hope I can get to them from the engine bay. I wish I could get the car jacked up a bit higher as well--just too tight to get the leverage or angle that I need. Thanks for checking out the channel! I appreciate it!
Kurt Hutchinson I need a better camera and mic, but it’s hard to judge because the audio is perfect when I play it back on my phone or laptop. Some mobile settings have video playback come thru the earpiece and not the “speaker.” Some have changed settings and said it fixed the issue. But indeed better equipment coming! Thanks for your input! I appreciate it!

Hey man, what's the y-pipe collector for? Sorry not the most mechanically inclined lol. I just bought the 1320 y pipe. Do I need to buy the collector as well to make it fit? 🤔
I’m looking online for time exact y pipe and found on 1320 page but says “contact for availability” and says q50 rwd models…. Aren’t the RWD and AWD stock exhaust designed all the same? I have a 2015 q50s 3.7 AWD and trying to get this
Titanium is better if you get the real titanium but it’s not necessary. Fiberglass will do the job. One roll is plenty. I think it’s like 25ft. You’ll use half.
It helps to keep the heat in the pipe rather than transferring to the floorboard. More importantly, hot air moves faster, so it acts as an insulator, keeping the exhaust gas, hotter and moving quicker out of the exhaust system.
No check engine light--everything is behind the o2 sensors so it shouldn't throw a CEL at all. All of the listings for the y-pipe that I am seeing say RWD/AWD so there shouldn't be any issue with it fitting awd. I'd just double check with the seller to make sure.
Hey ,Im adding a 1320 y pipe to my q50 all I have right now is a muffler delete if I add a new y pipe do I need to tune my car or will I get a check engine light or anything ?
I keep seeing ppl talk about back pressure and it not flowing right bc the 3in is to big when connecting to stock mid pipes. Is there any issues? I have muffler delete and would like it a little deeper
tylor lack They do look similar but the bends in the Megan pipe are actually a little smoother/rounder. The 1320 pipe has more angular bends for some reason. I actually liked the look of the Megan pipes better, but decided to go with this one. I guess there are only so many ways you can make a y pipe too so they are all going to look pretty similar.

It’s a y pipe because it’s an easy swap with the factory y pipe. No modification needed. No cons to buying used unless the flex pipe is damaged

No issues. A lot of people say things that don’t really know what they are talking about.

No it doesn't really align to the factory y pipe there will be an exhaust leak.
