Long shot but can we get a "Best of Jeff Probst" video before S40 starts? The game and players are iconic but that man has carried this show for 20 years. I can't be the only one crying/geeking out over how much he's aged.
Survivor Cambodia had some of the highest level of play in the game's history. For Jeremy to win that season against such formidable opponents and by unanimous decision no less, was nothing short of incredible!
Cierra was such an over rated player, it was tough to watch. She didn't even need to vote out her mom in BvW 1. Very average in 31. Somehow gets invited back for Game Changers and if I remember right she gets voted out first or second.
when I was seven I wasn’t really interested in the show but my mom put my name in a drawing at her work. if your person won, you won $40 dollars. basically because Tyson won I became the richest 1st grader in my school.
People love to discredit Jeremy's win as pulling at the heartstrings and getting sympathy, but his game in SJDS proved that he was a brilliant player who easily could've won that season had he not come off as strong...which is why he deployed his meat shield strategy during Second Chances. That was the best thing he could've possibly done for himself after having such a threatening game presence in his original season.
Agreed. SJDS was kind of a wonky season where I don't think he stood a chance. But on Second Chances it seemed like he already had the win before he even talked about Val being pregnant. I mean you can't get a clean sweep off of sympathy especially since Spencer played a pretty good game and Tasha played an average-above average game.
I’ve gotta say I think one of Michelle’s biggest moves was eliminating Neal from the jury. He probably would have gone up and delivered a half Murphy to the jury advocating for Aubrey and I could see him swaying a vote or two. In the case of a tie, Tai for sure votes for Aubrey.
Since Sandra has almost no chance at winning, I so hope that Natalie manages to pull it off. I'm a guy, but I am fascinated by resilient women and those two are just pure professionals. Other women won in other ways, but these two demonstrated true grit and wit as well! Also, they are both hilarious and the way they play "dumb" and manage to sway people's decisions is just amazing. I so hope the two of them last deep into the game if not win it... On the other hand I have no idea who'd I want to go first because this is a true All Star season, really no bad apple... perhaps the Africa winner, he s super likeable but it was so long ago, would miss him the least.
I started watching survivor Tyson’s season and have sense watched every season since but Tony is what made me a fan of survivor. I’ve never seen someone so masterly play such an out front game. Usually you play that aggressive and burn bridges but somehow he was still able to convince Woo to take him to the end.
Jeremy stated he went to counseling afterwards. There were too many good players in that game. I can only imagine like his mind was always racing even after the game ended
I really think jeremy is going to be the next 2 time winner. He is one of those players like Boston rob that if you put him on a normal season they are more likely to win it 8 times out of 10
nah it will be sandra. She is the best player on survivor ever. She managed to brush off her target last time she won and won again. This skill will be needed in season 40. If she uses the same strategy she will win again, but her statement about changing her strategy may make her loose
I'm considering Michele as my winner pick for S40, but I'm a bit hesitant. She can fly under the radar, make subtle moves that add to her resume, and talk herself out of difficult situations. However, I could see her being targeted around the final 7 for being a physical and social threat. She could also make it to the final three but not get enough votes to win. What do you guys think?
@@plentyofmagoes1143 word he pretty much pegged it except Michelle didn't get any votes which I think is bull shit I think she did almost as good on this season as she did her winning season
I wish I could rewatch Michelle’s season and fully appreciate her game, I think watching it the first time I was blinded by my liking both Aubrey and Tai that I was upset with her win, but seeing it back a few years later I think I would appreciated her much more. You don’t need to have a big flashy game to win, she had a good social game, had a good story, and treated people the best and that!s ultimately what’s important is how you make the jury feel.
I thought the same and wached it again and... I still think she was player like Dean good with keeping her threat level low but didn't really make moves or have strong strategy nor social play
I think one of Michele's biggest (and DEFINITELY most underrated) moves was becoming so close to Cydney during the swap. I'm surprised their relationship never made the final cut, seeing as Michele won and they both made it to f4. But she made a bond with someone from another tribe, of whom wouldn't ever turn on her, despite the narrative for that portion of the game (and most of the season) being that of sticking to original tribe divides and narrowing down the numbers of the other 2. And it proved to work wonders as they both were able to keep each other safe throughout the merge. See when you do queenery...

Tyson is an interesting story. It can be fair to say he was somewhat of a disaster in Tocantins and HvV. However, his BvW game was on point. But you also can make an argument that the theme of the season allowed for some people like him to have much stronger pre-game alliances that were a huge advantage. He kinda went into the game with a fast pass that a lot of others didn't have. That being said, I do think that his charm mixed with his low key physical prowess actually make him a favorite for WaW. Tyson is definitely one to watch this season. I could see him going at literally any point in the game or even winning it. He's a total toss-up.
I don't like to say that Jeremy pulling at the heartstrings won him the game. I think he would have won regardless because Tasha didn't do anything and Spencer's ego was rubbing people the wrong way. But, I do find it interesting that two unanimous Survivor wins (Adam and Jeremy) had a touching story at the final tribal. Despite if it's game or not, I think it does affect how people vote
