I like the way the illustrates how Klaus's mind works. In history it is stated Klaus never lost a war cause he's a master tactician. The only thing is that his plan comes with serious repercussions to everyone but Klaus. Which is why Elijah said "To break your enemy, you broke your family." Klaus knows that to beat his enemy he must eliminate his weakness in order to turn the tide on his enemies. It's nothing new as you see in the first episode of The Originals he gave his brother up to Marcel to gain his trust, in order to enact his plan to dismantle his empire. The thing I couldn't stand the second half of this season is nobody could trust Klaus again, which is why he said "leaving me to act alone." Klaus is a brilliantly written character
Yh almost everyone was being manipulated by others, the only exception was Rebekah but she isn’t known for her intellect hence why Klaus refused to tell anyone his plans because even if he tells them they will find a problem with it and try to force him to not go through with the plan, hence why after he completed his plan he told Elijah “you all fought me every step of the way”
Yeah, i literally cant side with anyone but Klaus in this point of the show. the dude was 10 chess moves ahead of Daliah. Yes, he had to screw everyone over, leave a collateral damage body trail...but the whole point was he had to put everyone against him and look truly idgaf so Daliah would believe him. also he was already mad about all the little traitors around him backstabbing him, taking his daughter, etc. vendetta was coming, it's fucking Klaus, what did they expect. He was already pissed off, playing the part was easy. also, he obviously saved Hayley and the pack from a certain death if Daliah had found them. was it a twisted sadistic way of doing it? yes. again, it's Klaus. but also as he told Hayley, she is the only person who tried to take his child from him who is still alive. And that is literally cause he didnt want her dead, and the curse seemed like an evil enough vengeance to trick Daliah into letting them live as also punishment for actually taking hope. Klaus is literally the guy you want in your team in a war cause while everyone is being an idiot, he is single handedly getting shit done. Questionable, maybe. But if you have to win a war and your enemy doesnt give a fuck...you gotta give even less.
in some fan bases people usually accuse Klaus for a lot, which is rightful in a way and in some circumstances, and they say like that Hayley tried to keep Hope safe and that the Mikaelsons were "bad" around baby due to their enemies etc (i am talking about mostly Dahlia situation to the next point though) BUT they miss the point that Dahlia would had found Hayley and the Werewolves EITHER way cause she was "drawn" to the baby and she was powerful witch to break any boundary/clock spell, so they were doomed either way, not to mention that their plan (Mikaelsons and all) was wrong, they stayed all alive back then THANKS TO Klaus!

@@letmebe2768 Exactly
Actually not all thier plans were wrong freya plan was working perfectly until Klaus arrived and started fighting them
Klaus plan was perfect but also extreme to the point it almost ruined his relationship with his family members especially elijah
@@BEYLIMTED no it wasn't, they had the wrong ingredients to start with, Klaus knew that, also Klaus had to convince Dahlia that he was on her side too
@@letmebe2768 Klaus killing someone dahila didn't know off or care about is irreverent
I love Hayley, but that decision to run with her clan was very stupid from her part

He didnt trust freya because freya waa allied with their brother who was trying to kill his child and for that he didnt trust her

Dahlia was powerful enough to easily be able to dessicate both Mikael and Klaus, so if she was able to, she would've been able to kill them.
@@talon532 dessicate and outright kill are drastically different, Dahlia would’ve outright kill Mikael if she could as a deterrent
