I was in tears watching your reaction to the fight scene! But you had the privilege to pause and sit throughout it! While people who watched this in theaters (me) had to watch each second in horror without any time to process. I was cluching the seat as I screamed in my head "THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN IN THE BOOK!" Absolutely lost it when I had to watch my sweet Seth DIE
@@lynmoore_ People did, the rollercoaster of emotions that went through that theater were nothing short of passionate. Anger, denial, bargaining, depression, no one really made it to acceptance. You either couldn't look away or you had to leave. That was the experience.
I actually screamed OUT LOUD in the teather “THIS DIDN’T HAPPEN IN THE BOOK!” and my best friend yelled “THEY RUINED THE FRANCHISE”. We felt so stupid at the end.
I will never forget being in the theater at the midnight premiere during the fight scene. People were screaming, wailing, shouting “THIS DIDNT HAPPEN IN THE BOOKS!” It was chaos. We were so distressed. Pure unadulterated grief from every seat. 10/10 experience.
I never read the books, so I legitimately thought that's what happened, but the very audibly loud, collective gasp of the theater, and the multiple screams of "NO!!!", let me know that it didn't. And I can tell you that almost no one else in that theater figured it was a vision. There were girls literally sobbing during the fight sequence. And when the fight ended, the theater erupted in applause and laughter. It was definitely a you-had-to-be-there experience.
Your reaction to the fight was everybody's reaction to it when we watched it for the first time. So nice to see someone's going through the same horrible process hahaha
I’ll add my story of watching this in the theater and the entire audience screaming “WHAT?!??!” I can remember my mom, who hadn’t read the book, asking me why everyone was screaming and I turned to her, panicking, and half cried/half sobbed “this is not in the book!!!”
26:07 Fwiw Stephenie Meyer has said that the fight scene is canon, in that it is exactly the vision that Alice shows Aro in the book. We (the audience) just never knew about it because we see the narrative from Bella’s POV.

I wish he could have seen this in the theater. I went to the midnight show & people screamed with the Carlisle reveal. It was palpable panic and chaos for the entire scene. Imagine not being able to pause to have time to process but rather it just keeps coming at you. It was bananas 😂
Baby Reneesme is bad CGI because it was basically done last minute. Its actually a robotic doll, with full on expressions and movements, but it was REALLY scary and kinda ugly, so they had to edit it a CGI face last second. You can see in the cast face when they are holding it, they are terrified of the thing.
It may have been a doll at first in the beginning but I know it was real babies and little girls. They just CGI Mackenzie Foy's face on them by using an aging thing with Mackenzie's pictures of her as a baby, they even used it to age Mackenzie to a teenager in Jacob's vision. Because Rob loved getting to hold the babies and enjoyed playing the piano with the little girl in that scene. Then Mackenzie Foy played the rest of the movie from the bedtime scene with Bella to the ending. It's all in the Behind the scenes on the DVD/Blu Ray.
As someone who watched the movies first, I cannot tell you how validating your reaction is here [26:36] bc I definitely cried in the theater and also left feeling like a confused child
as an embarrassingly avid viewer of reaction videos, this is the most hysterical reaction video I have ever seen I literally spit out my water when you started the gratitude exercise
I love how genuine you experience media on your channel here. There is no room for cynisicm, or hating smth just because. If you hate smth it's for reasons, if you love something it's also for reasons. That's rare I feel.
Yay! I love pride and prejudice! If you watch the movie you should also watch the BBC series, i think its 6 episodes. The movie is great cinematically but the TV show is an almost perfect shot for shot scene for scene book adaptation. I really watch both religiously. Both are great.
I can still feel the reactions in the theater. When we see Carslile’s head, the actual collective GASP we gusp, and then the silent tears and the whispers of people saying *this didn’t happen in the book wtf*, and then the angry WHAT?!’s when it turned out to be a vision! I was a whole 15 year old when this came out, about to turn 16, and I swear I didn’t see it coming because IT. DIDNT. HAPPEN. IN. THE. BOOK!
Bamboozled! Most people in the theater didn't get to pause for 15 minutes and figure out it was a vision. I worked at the movie theater when all of these came out and watched it early with a group of people. I realized after about 20 seconds that it had to be a vision. Not everyone did though. I recorded reactions from customerss to this scene and grown ass women were throwing stuff at the screen. Honestly, it was such a great twist. Haha Thanks for the fun. What's next!?
Same!! The movie is one of my favorites and I listen to the audiobook to go to sleep to. Rosamund Pike narrates it and she brings the characters to life and her voice is so soothing! I’m so excited for his reaction!!
Okay but imagine watching all of these movies and reading the books, and getting to the last movie and ALL OF THAT HAPPENS. I remember being in a theater and experiencing that and there was nothing like it in the world and there never will be again it was insane. imagine a full theater of people on opening day/night just screaming in shock and confusion. I was so so excited for your reaction every since this series began and it truly didn't disappoint tysm. 🤣😂🤣😂
Mackenzie Foy (aka “the real Baby”) was cast as Renesmee from the start and to make her growth believable and consistent, the filmmakers got a bunch of her baby and toddler pictures and had the CGI people put the stages of her face on real kids who acted for the different ages. But they were all stand-ins for Mackenzie Foy.
17:05 In the previous film, during the wedding ball scene, when Billy and Sett go to greet and congratulate Bella and Edward on their wedding, Sue is with them. At that moment, Charlie arrives and invites her to dance, and Billy even gets jealous because she is his sister. It is a short scene, but it shows that they already had a close relationship! In the scene where Charlie is at Billy's house and tells Jacob that Bella would extend the trip because she was "sick," they also have a small interaction where she calms him down and says that everything will be fine and he doesn't need to worry.
Michael Sheen as Aro is honestly my favorite thing about tvis film tbh. He was clearly having so much fun. Your reaction to the fight is everything. I’ve been so excited for your reaction to this since the last video because I knew it was gonna be good. Did not disappoint. 💙
I remember the first time I saw this in theaters…. And the absolute chaos of that last scene was something I’ve never experienced before… until the red wedding
It's finally here and it was as good as I expected. I've been waiting for your reaction to the fight scene since you mentioned Twillight was the next series. Call me evil, but I needed to see someone else go through the same thing I went through except I was in theaters and had no pause button thank you. This was great. Thank you for your suffering.

I'm actually low key jealous that you got the privilege of pausing to process the final fight scene xD I saw the midnight premier of this movie and the whiplash that I had during that whole ending made us all go bonkers at the time.
I have been waiting for video since you started reading the books. It was the most traumatizing movie experience in theaters and watching you experience it was a joy.
You have no idea how excited I have been for this reaction. It was worth the wait!! Watching that movie in theaters is an experience I will NEVER forget. Hearing the audience scream, swear, walk out, and even cry; was truly a masterpiece in real life. Also listening to my own family swearing at the screen over things that didn’t happen in the book was truly an experience that I wouldn’t mind reliving once😂 I’m glad you were able to pause and decompress your thoughts and emotions, but that theater audience was not emotionally stable to handle what had happened🤪
I am SO excited for you going full time! This is one of my favorite channels because of your combination of book reviews AND movie reviews that hardly anyone does well. Can’t wait to support the new venture ❤
My first ever midnight premiere was this movie and the entire theater was screaming in outrage the same way that you were, but with zero time to process that this could possibly be a dream. And this was in the timeframe where it was entirely possible that the movie industry would change it like this, and it have all been real, just to make it have more shock value. My sister had never seen these movies and that 10 hour binging marathon to get to watch my sister scream in horror, the same way I did many years ago, was absolutely wonderful and then to watch YOU do it was just extremely delightful, even though that was extremely painful for you. Thank you for this.
I'M SO EXCITED FOR P&P. The book is such a wonderful read and the 2005 film is one of the most beautifully shot movies ever to have graced our screens. Shoutout to the amazing, 10/10, unbelievable, Oscar winning perfect score by Dario Marianelli.
I enjoyed every second of this video, I was so excited for you to get to that part of the movie haha. I don't even remember what my reaction was when I first saw it, so I guess that says it all 😂
When the book came out I was so mad at the United Nations of Vampires ending and my friend from my book club still quotes back to me what I said when I read the final book - “Four books of whining and all they do in the end is stand around in a field and talk about their problems…”. I was so mad. The film made it so much better for me personally with the fight vision being included.
Wish you got the full experience of witnessing Alice's vision in a packed movie theater in 2012 with a bunch of angry teenage Twilight fans like we did. Super excited for your future videos! Pride and Prejudice is a fantastic next choice! And I've commented it before, but if you ever feel like revisiting Stephanie Meyer I actually think The Host is underrated and worth a read on the channel.
i was giggling to myself the whole time you thought that fight scene was real. i also got fooled by it, but even worse, id seen it like years before and literally just forgot what was going to happen lol. this is literally peak entertainment, and ive loved this whole series so much, thank you!!!
So excited for Pride & Prejudice!! It was a story that followed my pre-teen self into adulthood, so I finally caved last year. My mistake was watching it on a 10-hour flight. Feet kicking, incessant giggling, hands curling, the whole package. I genuinely couldn’t believe I waited that long to see it because WOW was it so beautiful, genuinely the epitome of romance and hardcore yearning 😌
I was laughing at work (because I can't help watching your videos when it pops up on my phone), seeing your reaction to Carlisle dying. I knew that was exactly how you'd react. At least you could pause it. My heart was broken when I watched it in the movie theater. I'm so excited for Pride and Prejudice, one of my all time favorite movies and books!
You should have been there in the theater where you couldn’t pause it. The way EVERY SINGLE one of us freaked out when the fight started because we knew the source material, and then the silence when the fight sequence ended.
My dad screamed at me when he saw Carlisle's head ("YOU SAID NOBODY DIED") and I was so shocked that I could articulate the fact that indeed there were no deaths in the book, so It was a really stressful moment where we screamed and celebrated Jane's death with everyone in the theater like it was the World Cup Final (it's Brazil, we are extra)... a really emotional moment with the fandom... and it was a lie... Also, I don't know why Bill Condon was hired to film Beauty and the Beast after the hideous computer baby he presented in this movie. He couldn't make a baby grow up fast, how could he make a beast and his humanoid furniture??
I haven't finished yet but I'm loving everything about this reaction. The look on your face when you saw what happened to Carlisle is everything to me right now. I don't even care that I have an appointment in 45 minutes that I should be getting ready for and I'm watching this instead. LOL love this so much!
You don't look dumb. All the book readers in the audience of the film screamed at that part. If there had been a pause button available, I guarantee someone would have pushed it and then everyone would have gone on a huge rant about how that's not supposed to happen. Perfectly natural reaction.
I honestly don't get the criticism for the fight scene, they did the best possible thing a film could have done. It would have been so boring without the fight, but we also get the benefit of the deaths not being real. Best of both worlds, I loved this when I saw it.
Ok, was it a fever dream that there is a scene at the end where they show Renesme and Jacob the same age standing with Bella and Edward? I was waiting for the reaction to seeing them all the same age and am sad it's not in here... that scene is real right???
THANK YOU. I was waiting for that too since Lyn didn't want to see Jacob holding Nessie as a baby. I thought for sure he'd have words about the wet dream of the child molester lol
welcome to the dark side, after watching this movie's ending you are oficially one of us 😂😂 great reaction but also, sometimes pausing the movie should be illegal 😂, it gives you too much time to process and analyse what's going on and if it makes sense or not... i swear when i watched it in the cinema that vision scene felt only like 5 seconds long and i held my breath the whole time chanting in my head "please don't be real, please don't be real" the entire time 😂😂 (i can laugh about it now but damn that traumatized me a looot) Im exited for whatever the next series is btw! (i hope it's Eragon tbh 😂)
@lynmoore You aren't done yet, you need to read the last novel still. Life and Death: Twilight Reimaged - "The story is a gender-swapped retelling of the first book in the Twilight series, and introduces Beau Swan and Edythe Cullen" ... it is as unhinged as you expect
I remember the audience in the movie theater, yelling during the fight scene, then clapping when it turned out to be a vision. You’re reaction was the best
If you had seen this in the theater with a packed room of screaming millennials... It's a memory you wouldn't forget too easily. It completely fulfilled the shock factor that it was intended to do, and brought life to a pretty boring book ending. But I 100% agree that it took away time from other elements of the story. And it doesn't do anything for rewatches because none of it actually happened.
I can't believe you've never read or watched at least one adaptation of Pride and Prejudice!!! How is that possible??? Wait, is this how guys feel when I tell them I've never seen Star Treck, Star Wars, Godfather, Rambo etc. etc. ? 😳
IM SO EXCITED FOR PRIDE AND PREJUDICE!!! The Keira Knightly version is literally my diehard favorite, and while there are some things that differ from the book the movie is still such a wonderful adaptation! Love the twilight reactions my sisters and I have been dying with laughter over them because they’re so awesome! Thank you for the content 😊
The Carlisle moment and the reveal moment were two experiences in the theater i have never been able to replicate. I was in my "hurr duurrr, Twilight is so dumb" phase at the time and STILL went to see it twice.
I was waiting for the Charile head moment. I gasped so loud in the cinema when I saw this I was shhed by my friends!! Your reaction was PERFECT!! PERFECT!!!
The fight scene..... every book reader in the theater was screaming. I remember it was complete chaos then silence and some tears then "twist/reveal" that it was a vision..... idk why they chose to do it that way but everyone hated it.

16:55 you didnt notice it at the wedding, or at the house when the food was ready. They havent had much screen time but that wedding part got me
I enjoyed every second of this video, I was so excited for you to get to that part of the movie haha.
23:30 "It doesnt matter what i show you" and your confused "WhAt?.... what do you mean!" Is sending me 😂
Everything about Aro can be explained if he is Aziraphale from Good Omens who lost a bet with Crowley and has to pretend to be evil
In my defense, I'd never seen or heard of that other glasses wearing white guy when I said Lynstigators
PRIDE & PREJUDICE!!!! Let's GOOOOO!!!❤😍
Yassss!!!!! LFG!! Now you know how everyone (that read the books) felt in the theaters when this came out. We were all screaming!! 😱🙀😱🙀😱😂😂
Idk what you're looking at, that first shot of the baby looked pretty baby like to me
I will NEVER forget the visceral reaction of everyone in the theater when that Carlisle scene came on it was CHAOS
Perfectly natural reaction.
this is exactly what I wanted AND needed when I got off of work, thank you Lyn
I honestly don't get the criticism for the fight scene, they did the best possible thing a film could have done. It would have been so boring without the fight, but we also get the benefit of the deaths not being real. Best of both worlds, I loved this when I saw it.
1) fantastic reaction video, thanks for all the work. 2) PRIDE AND PREJUDICE LET'S GOOOOO
Your commentary on the CGI baby was GOLD and so right haha
I’m so excited for pride and prejudice omg!! I love your content so I’ll continue to support!
so excited for PRIDE AND PREJUDICE
Omg P&P! I was honestly SHOCKED when you said that! I'm so excited! It's my favorite book of all time!
welcome to the dark side, after watching this movie's ending you are oficially one of us 😂😂
great reaction but also, sometimes pausing the movie should be illegal 😂, it gives you too much time to process and analyse what's going on and if it makes sense or not...
i swear when i watched it in the cinema that vision scene felt only like 5 seconds long and i held my breath the whole time chanting in my head "please don't be real, please don't be real" the entire time 😂😂 (i can laugh about it now but damn that traumatized me a looot)
Im exited for whatever the next series is btw!
11:51 Someone has to show you the stand in doll they used. 10x worse. Unaffectionately called Chuckesmee
Yessss this comment needs to be boosted to the top - it's not a true twilight experience unless you're permanently haunted by Chuckesmee
Somebody show him Chuckesme please 🙏🙏🙏🙏 he needs to know the nuke dodged by the use of CGI baby instead 😂
Btw your content is really refreshing. Good luck with patreon!
Oh my god. I am so excited. For everything. P&P, and patreon. ❤ can't wait.
I got a stomachache from laughing so hard at your reaction to Carlisle
A handsome man with good takes, love of wine, and a dream? Whew you’ve got me sir
I live for Mondays now
You are my fav channel on TH-cam!!! Literally the best. Pride and prejudice is my favourite!!!! Cannot wait for that
