Good advise, thx Gary. This video has ofcourse been saved should my wife`s Figo have this problem :) Did have an issue with it about a month ago whereby the car will start in the morning with the MIL on and in limp mode. Switch off the car, start it again normally solved the problem. Rest of the day no issues, only first start in the mornings. But it go worse and worse until one morning I could not get the car out of limp mode. . Turned out to be the MAF sensor which was dirty. Cleaned it up with some MAF spray. No further problems....Enjoy your videos tremendously, thx for sharing.
@@vehiclemaintenanceandrepai3790 i have a ford figo 2013 1.4 cylinder 4 is misfiring and the car loses power after a few miles.(when i check the plugs the one plug has coolant)
I have a 2013 Figo 1.4 petrol. sometimes it feels as though it is misfiring or if timing is out. but other times it drives fine. I have found that after it is serviced(new plugs, filters. etc.) it drives and accelerates fine for about 800km and then starts its nonsense again. Cleaned Map sensor and car felt a bit better but still not as responsive as it should be at times. sometimes feels like something is holding car back
When the coil on your golf is going out the spark at each plug tend to jump around wich gives you a false sense of what the problem is. Run the motor when its dark. If you see the spark jump from the coil / distributor wire to the body of the coil while the motor is running that coil is kaput.
@@franklynmarks6848 does it idle normal or is it erratic? If erratic check and clean the Mass Airflow sensor. While at it also clean out the throttle body.
@@drevil2783 it idles but sound sometimes it want to died, it's a carburetor. Perhaps my curb needs a service, I'm a bit dumb with these things. Still learning
@@vehiclemaintenanceandrepai3790 thank you for the advice I'll look into changing the coil pack on my fiesta, because it has similar issues like that ford Figo.
If it has an immobiliser that could be the problem. It may not disengage and stays on, have it checked by an auto electrician, Jafer, it could also be a faulty coil even if it was bought new, these things happen too.
Mechanic told me it's either I need a coil change or something is up with the heat sensor. Glad I found a video that confirms what he told me
Happy to be of help, Andrew, thanks for supporting my channel with your visit and interaction, it is well received and appreciated.

I have Ford Figo petrol missing in CNG but seems fine in Petrol. What's the issue and how to solve it?
???, don't understand
Have the same problem with my golf. Do you think it might be the coil?

Oh and those coils are dirt cheap.

Good day,Can a bad coil pack affect fuel efficiency??
Most certainly Radi, especially if it causes a misfire.
@@vehiclemaintenanceandrepai3790 thank you for the advice I'll look into changing the coil pack on my fiesta, because it has similar issues like that ford Figo.
I wish you luck, Radi and hope replacing the coil pack sorts your issue.
Good day, having a problem with a figo, no spark, replaced coil, still no start

You actually get some knobs who would force those self tappers into the head's threads😂😂😂😂
I've seen it.😄😄😄😆😆😆
Sure, this is why I make these videos to educate those in need of this type of knowledge.
Without watching the video and purely going on the video description, i can tell you what is wrong....
It's a ford!!😆
Not a bad car though, I work on many Figo's and no major problems, reliable, economical and stylish.
