Gotta say sometimes you risk a lot putting behind the scenes kind of employees in front of the camera. But the same thing with LTT is you have such a charismatic team that they shine on their own. I think Marques really has a special thing here
@@StonedNoob On camera personalities are more likely to be head-hunted by other media companies as well as if they are popular amongst the fans they may be more incentivised to leave and start a channel by themselves.
Marques came from a not well known tech 12 year old kid to one of the most influential tech TH-camrs! (Also the camera kit he got is $24,990 I think….) LOVE YOU GUYS
Brandon is definitely one of the most creative artists i have seen, this is the second time i have seen him shoot an intro sort of and i am impressed by how much he was able to achieve without any input from marques leaving him more time for edits etc.
I appreciate the fact that you've discovered a way to actually show the difference between 60 and 120hz refresh rates in videos now. You've been harping about the difference for years but I've never seen a phone that had 120hz in person before so I didn't understand why it really mattered. While I'm still not sure how big of a deal it really will be in the grand scheme of things I do believe you when you say that once you get used to it it'll feel weird going back to just 60hz displays. Maybe on a related note, I was fairly used to played console games at 30FPS for years and years now but with the new consoles running everything at pretty much a rock solid 60FPS I've found that I can't even play comes at 30FPS anymore without really noticing how "not smooth" the games feel by comparison.
I don’t comment on TH-cam videos but I had to this time. Brandon is top tier!! He is such an incredible artist and inspiration. I genuinely look forward to him explaining his ideas of what he wants to create in the shots! Like wow! I love his artistic nature! Keep making more videos with him! Lol. I’m a fan.
Honestly pretty crazy how they even storyboarded the intro rolls. I felt their stress when filming with a new camera especially with a big video like this since you can run into a lot of technical issues trying to use new gear.
As a lay-viewer, I can say with confidence, I have a new-found appreciation for MKBHD main channel videos that I did not have before, and would *not* have without this second channels existence. I genuinely wish the MKBHD brand all of the financial success needed to keep you all employed and prospering.
I’m really digging the thumbnail and graphic aesthetic that they use on this channel. The content is brilliant as always, but the look and feel of the videos is just perfect.
I think this was the first studio video to really nail the vibe. It’s casual yet very well filmed. It has some structure but all of the reactions seem raw and genuine. I love this channel more and more with every video! Keep it up!
Gotta appreciate how much effort and $ the team puts into TH-cam videos. First time I saw marques with the red on Casey's vlog I knew he was in a league of his own.
I’m just a normal guy that watches TH-cam channels didn’t know how much work goes into filming a quality film really like watching this thank you very much
I love how chill it feels to see you guys work together. Taking time to do it all really well, having a good time while working. Maybe thats why those edits are just that good… love that!
Loving the channel and getting some serious Corridor Crew vibes, which is great! One suggestion you guys could actually think about implementing from Corridor Crew videos: Put people’s names (and maybe job titles) on screen when they first appear on camera in a video. A channel like this is all about the personalities, and I’m still having a hard time at this point remembering everybody’s name, which keeps me at more of an emotional distance than I need to be. It also helps new viewers who may have missed the original introduction video!
I love contents like this! where u showed us the behind the scenes. it was fun and I learned a lot about the technologies and computers that you are using.
@ 2:00 not the same sensor, but you know that already since you said it in the pinned comment on the main channel @ 12:35 MQ stands for Medium Quality ... HQ is the "maximum" aka High Quality :D @ 15:20 V Raptor stands for velociraptor dammit X) veloci = fast from latin. It's also a dinosaur, you should know :D As for the "new computer = less grainy mess" idea - true RAW doesn't have any de-noise or lens correction etc. That's why many cameras like a7S III start looking worse in some aspects when recording through Ninja V compared to internal recording.
You guys are cretive wizards. Respect for coming up with new ways to great videos while keeping the same look, and working with the same gear, and on the regular. Really impressive.
Step 1: Watch the MKBHD Video Step 2: Watch the making of the intro on The Studio channel Step 3: Watch the MKBHD video for the intro again Step 4: Aaaah
😎
I love you MKBHD!!!
?
🤩🤩🤩
I wish I could meet you!
They seem like a cool and professional group of guys, they should start a tech review channel 👍
This is becoming one of my favorite channels real quickly. Love this type of content!
I came here to say this!
Absolutely
I know right? Makes me want to see the other guys on the main channel sometimes.
Mine too
@@progenitor_amborella you know what.. thats so true! but i honestly would love to geek out with the whole group in the studio one day.
11:19 proud father watching his kids enjoy the expensive toy he got for them.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Why would there be a risk in that?
If you have a good hiring process and judgement of character then there should be no risk of putting them in front of the camera lol
@@YourLocalCafe yes exactly! Curious to know why it would be risky? and in what way?

I'm starting to love the videos from this channel. It's just neat getting an inside look at all the things that go into the main mkbhd videos.
At this point, I enjoy the videos about making the videos more than the videos LOL
Ooh, a verified comment. Time to watch it get a billion likes
Marques peeping in the room was the best part. 😂

5:46 The way his snap echoed and transitioned into the jazz piece was slick
marques: *talks about red camera*
me: ooo floating sandal

Hahah I noticed as well lo
Linus would be proud

It's on enough flagships now that if you go to a store you'll be able to find one to try out
Diff between 30fps and 60fps is like the diff between 60fps and 120

The guy seems full of himself. Lots of
“Me” and not very much “we”
@@andrewpage8759 Lmao, what? He doesn't come off that way at all.
i swear dude david is the most chilled / fun person on the mkbhd team
Presumably, the risk with a StormTrooper version is it will keep missing focus on the target 😉
Nice hahah

Would be great to see the iPhone/s shooting the RED V-Raptor.
Love seeing the behind the scenes setup of shoots like this. It's awesome seeing the creativeness!
This reminds me of my days in Film class. I never new when some new equipment would be introduced and I would have to quickly learn to use it.
The footage is mind-blowing 🔥

These vlogs are gold for tech review industry....
V stands for Very expensive.!
It is not the old Monstro sensor. It is an entirely new sensor.
After seeing this video you come.back to the iphone review intro and realize the hard work. Well done Guys. V stands for Void.
Can’t wait to see Astro around the studio😏
Can we as the TH-cam video creator just agree to call this camera the Velociraptor 😅👍
Love the “ behind the scenes” of the intro videos
This guy is such a good dude, he can’t even lie.
Wait I thought V-Raptor was short for Velociraptor...
Shooting a camera phone with a red camera and vlog it with another set of cameras . INCEPTION 📸
Absolutely LOVE these videos. It's so cool to see the behind the scenes and get to know everyone at the studio.
I still can't believe the amount of effort they put to take a single intro short
The new camera looks great! Loved the footage taken on it, just watched your review!
Love that there looks to be one of Linus’s (LTT) sandals floating in the background 😀😂
So much work for one take, respect😂👍
Gotta appreciate the vibes from this channel
Love how there's a sandal casually floating in the background.
its kinda crazy how much work goes into one intro
Deadass thought that was Harry Potter and Ron Weasley in the thumbnail
I want a tutorial from Brandon editing intros 🤩

Red made the V in the V-Raptor stand for both Veloci-Raptor and also Vista Vision, because the sensor in the V-Raptor is a Vista Vision Sensor.
Remember Marques when opening boxes… don’t get bloody, cut towards your buddy!
love the studio channel
Ah, that's why he lifted up the first box so lightly.
The camera was in all of us the whole time
The real camera was the friends we made along the way
This channel is just such a vibe. Love it
