Nice side by side comparison! It's a bit weird how we obsess over this kind of stuff when we have so many amazing lenses to use and can just pick one and get good results with it.
I really think the speedbooster is a better option especially because it's much easier to buy and sell EF glass as opposed to MFT. Besides already being on Canon myself, it made sense investing in a mount that is readily available in the used market as well, as MFT can be much harder to find.
Thank you very much for your video! I'm a newbie with BMCPP 4k. I'm using a Metabones Ultra 0.71x speed booster for Art Sigma 18-35mm f1.8. I like all the scenes I shot indoors, but not outdoors. When it's not sunny enough, the footage becomes blurry. Yesterday, I couldn't even focus on some leaves on a tree despite the distance between the camera and that tree was good. I found a small button on the speed booster, but not sure what and how it functions. I would appreciate it if you could let me know more about this function. It may help me film outdoors with the right level of sharpness. Thank you very much in advance!
instead of wasting money on speedbooster i rather buy native lens and save money for future cam / lenses. c200 mk2 is my goal when it releases, or a used c70, depending on the price / spec differences

I feel the biggest advantage I see for speedboosters is old lenses. I have an old 300mm f2.8 that takes wonderful portraits as a 213mm f2.

Thats a great point. In the long run I think it is definitely beneficial.
but that also means the mft lenses are cheaper, and the EF glass is not future proof as the new RF mount has been released
