We got soaps designed to look like chocolate cheesecake from a cutesy farm shop near Loch Tay a few years ago. Dad decided to prank his brother-in-law by putting them on a plate. Was a very desperate "NO NO WAIT" as he immediately picked one up and tried to take a bite XD

Once my parents bought soap that looked like cupcakes and we had guests over and their kid went to the washroom, then he comes back with the soap and a sour look on his face ( he ate it). They brought the poor child to the hospital. I kinda feel bad for laughing 😅💀

@@crystalpeacebear1985 of she shipped it piece by piece, with how to instructions and an appropriate sized jar of "frosting" that would hold enough to complete the entire look, along with the embeds etc, I think that might work.

This was so cute! If you ever do more with the lil round beads you might want to look into candy tweezers, they have tiny round cups at the end and make it really easy to pick up small decorations. My favorite tradition is Cookie Day, although we didn't have any gingerbread this year there was plenty of frosted sugar cookies & other tasty treats.
You should put a little "Royalty Soaps" sign on the front and decorate the little gingerbread people as you and Kenny out front.

Wish we could see your mom's reaction to this gingerbread house. It's beautiful! This is the first year I haven't seen either of my parents on Christmas. My boyfriend's mom is...incredibly sick and this is likely her last Christmas (but absolutely praying for a miracle), so we are with his family. Did get to see my mom this past weekend which was nice. Still feels weird to not be back in Tennessee with my parents.

Hope your boyfriend’s mom gets to be around for many more Christmases to come! I know how it feels to have a relative who is sick on Christmas. My grandma had stage 3 cancer when she was 60. Doctors told her she would likely have one Christmas left. Now she is 70, cancer free, and going stronger than ever! Miracles happen! Wishing your family love and luck!
Alison N I hope so. :( She was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer back in January. Chemo worked some wonders this summer, but it's looking like it's back and really, really bad. They called hospice today. But still... it feels like there's a lot of information that we haven't gotten, so... there's definitely a part of me still really hoping that they realize they missed something. I don't know. It just sucks so much. That's amazing about your grandmother though! I'm glad she's doing well! That's incredible and so fantastic! Happy holidays to you and yours!

This is my favorite tradition we've continued for 10 years since we were engaged, he also watched this video with me 😊 actually, he's also a fan of Royalty Soaps, we watched all of Soapmas together! ❤

ONce it actually happened for me.
My family always makes Buckeyes which is an Ohio candy made to look like the actual nut. They're essentially peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate, so good. Well this year, I moved to Australia to be with my fiance and I brought that tradition with me. They're a big hit with his family.

I’ve read on the internet, when looking up buckeyes to try and explain them to non native Ohioans, they’re the state candy. But I also know a lot of people born and raised in Ohio that have never heard of them. Weird.

UnderstandablyCliche There used to be a very good dog food that my father would buy and haul back to Maryland ( where we lived ) called Buckeyes.
As a neighboring state, thank y'all I love buckeyes. They we're my favorite candy as a kid. My great grandma use to get fancy ones and I've spent my adult trying to find them.
My newest Christmas tradition is to order either Chinese or Thai food and binge watch Doctor Who with my dog! This is the third year I've done it and it just keeps getting better and better every year!

My family always has what we call “cookie day”. On that day we get our whole family together and we bake dozens of cookies. We have been doing this for over 20 years. When we are finished with the cookies we make tons of platters and hand them out to our family and friends! It’s a great day of baking, laughs, and giving!!

My favorite Christmas tradition is opening Christmas gifts on Christmas morning in our pajamas around the tree and taking our time and just relaxing and enjoying one another. I also love listening to my grandfather reading the Christmas story ❤️❤️

When you started putting on the gumdrop imbeds the first thing I thought was "mm those look like tasty gumdrops." Then I realized its soap and got sad lol. Thats just shows you how good you did 😍
My favourite Christmas tradition for our family is that we sing "Happy Birthday Jesus" before the meal to remind us that the day is to celebrate the birth of Christ and not about presents

I've often wondered too, if maybe a wax pencil would help with things like this? The same sort of "pencil" that nail artists use to pick up rhinestones and small decorations.

Favorite Christmas tradition, hands down, is making Christmas candy with my grandmother. She's 82 so I've taken over a lot of the work at this point. We make divinity, fudge, and peanut brittle, and if we have time we usually do chocolate dipped pecans too.
My favorite tradition is allowing the kids to open one gift on Christmas Eve. We've been doing it since I was little and I carry it on with my kids.

My family opens presents on Christmas Eve too! My mom started this tradition when I was a kid, because she was just so excited to see us open them. We've since adopted the same tradition for birthdays.
My two favorite Christmas traditions are decorating the tree and watching my dogs open their dog stockings! I gave my mom your sugar plum fairy soap for Christmas and she absolutely loved it! I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Making fudge for my family. On my mother's side of the family there is one person who makes it. I made it with the family recipe. My husband's family loves it.

My favorite family tradition is the trip to see the lights. We'll go to the local lighted village, and some times we do a carriage ride around the neighborhoods that get all fancy with their lights. It's so much fun.

I have two big family traditions around this holiday season. The first one is a big party on the night of the winter solstice, and then one or more people stay up all night until the light returns, to protect the house and the family. The second is a chill latke dinner at my mom's, with just the immediate family:)

I've actually adopted some new traditions this year. My mother in law passed away on Memorial Day. So I've made her stuffing, and each year we're going to buy a box each of See's Candy (soooooooo goooood) to open on Christmas.
We open one Christmas present on Christmas Eve, and the rest in the morning. Christmas pjs are required, for after present opening, we clean up the paper, all camp out in the living room and eatch Christmas movies or play video games. Christmas breakfast is cooked and is generally a much bigger deal than Christmas Dinner.
Next year I hope to go Christmas lights viewing, and decorate the outside of the house.

Where did you get the soap mold for this?
When i was young my best friend who lived about 3 hours away from me at the time would spend a week at my house during Christmas break from school. Every year we would make and decorate a gingerbread house from a kit. It was so much fun.
My favorite Christmas tradition that my family has is that, me my sister always hide upstairs on Christmas morning and watch Christmas movies together for hours until our parents are awake, then we get to be super annoying and wake up our older brother so we can all go downstairs together and open presents. We started doing this when we were little and our parents didn't let us downstairs (where our present tree is) until everyone was awake, and me and my sister just kept it up so even now when she's an adult and graduated college we still continue it!

Every year my grandparents go to 99 Ranch Market and buy live crabs and we eat them for dinner on Christmas Eve. It is what I look forward to every year. I look forward to it not just because we get to eat crab, but also because my family, my grandparents, and my uncle get to spend time together since my grandparents live in Mexico.
I love that you do this for your Mum, if you added the year on the door it would be a great to see how your creativity has continued through the years. Would love to see a montage of previous gingerbread houses you have done. Amazing work as always.
You should have added some clear melt and pour in the window panes! It would have taken your house to a whole new level! I love the idea of using it for decoration!
Next time you do pearls, Beadsmith has pearl tweezers. The tip is a round disk with a rounded hollow so you can hold a pearl without it slipping. Also next time decorate the backs of the trees for the 360* look. Love the gumdrops!

Next year you should use clear jelly soap in the windows to look like glass! It’s looks great as is though! Also if your daughter is older then 4 at the youngest then she’s old enough to make minor permanent memories, but at 6 is usually when we truly start to make non trauma related permanent memories

Husband and I have had some messed up childhoods, but we have created our own holiday traditions. We watch Nightmare Before Christmas on the day we put up our Christmas trees. We prank each other with Christmas music each year, like when we have to put on a new Christmas song one of us will put on a funny Christmas song and see how long it takes the other to notice. -my favorite Christmas traditions! 😊

my favorite christmas tradition would have to be a tie between my dad making prime rib (SO YUMMY) and the chimes!! we have a hand chime set that we all attempt to play christmas songs on together on christmas eve. it goes very poorly but thats the fun part!!

Our favorite tradition is to make applesauce in the crockpot on Christmas Eve. Even the little kids can chop apples and there’s literally two ingredients: apples and pumpkin pie spice. The smell of spicy applesauce while opening presents and then some warm on top of coffee cake or monkey bread 😵. That’s Christmas right there.
