      @@mugslschlaengli5928 The only issue of stealing from the Chinese will be they are protected by western copyright laws and therefore illegal al to copy their products. Where as the Chinese copy what ever they want and don’t worry about copyright laws as they are hard to I force in China when the courts are controlled by the corrupt CCP.

      This presentation was better than any engineering class I took. Sandy is 100% right, and most of my professors at Michigan Tech would lose their crap at most of his statements.

      ​@@buckmanriver Thanks Buck - we just can't learn enough about how Elon does things - and he does things! Great to have Sandy analyze the products of Elon's philosophy and in this video, the philosophy spelled out. "Competitors" aren't led by this philosophy and it shows in their products.

    Some of those modernized IV infusion pumps helped keep my daughter alive during her first 5 months of life, as a micro-preemie living in a Neonatal ICU. She's a perfect wonderful kid today. Thanks!

    Sandy and team, as a chaplain who works in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, thank you for doing the work to make that pump for the babies. You have probably saved hundreds or thousands of lives with that redesign.

      I hate the Alaris pumps, chock-full of terrible design decisions, typical of healthcare products designed with no input from front-line providers. Nothing to be proud of.

      Lol lies. One, Cybertruck is the same form factor as existing trucks. Two, plenty of pickups hail from farm equipment, like ladder frame trucks. Three, Cybertruck uses technology and platforms from existing Tesla cars.

    The best thing about you tube is it has enabled Sandy to come online and share all his vast trove of mechanical n industrial experience, as Elon enthralled us and stressed out that engineering is often underappreciated, I guess he is changing the way business is conducted and the way CEO are supposed to stick true to the motives of the company

    As a Product Designer, this was great to watch. I go through the same struggles every single day. When somebody asks about my job I say, the design part is easy, it's managing the people, stakeholders, that's the most difficult.

    Awesome info, reminds of being a graduate at Lotus during Elise MKII production ramp up. One of the Principal Engineers spent most of his time asking designers 'why do have part X?' and getting them to delete or amalgamate it with other parts.

    I agree to all these Sandy just presented... I design stuff and this was so enlightening. I was cautious on my designs but now I have much more to take care before I finalise something. Just a thanks is not enough about what I just watched... I wish I could work under Sandy.
